Don't overuse this glitch on your primary save. When this bug occurred to me a few months ago, I didn't realize it would increase the save file size each time I ransomed, and it increased my load times from 5 seconds to over a minute. From what I could glean, Bannerlord records each individual noble ransom incident in a very inefficient, ever-growing ledger. This doesn't really matter for normal campaigns, as ransoming a hundred or a thousand nobles is not significant, but using this bug to ransom millions of prisoners will make the game unplayable.

Hey spiff. Theres also a glitch where if you make a javelin with a harpoon head jt maxes out the sell price of it. Meaning for basically 0 cost you gain 60K-250K/ javelin. This is based on your smothing skill and trade skill. (The javelin levels smithing really fast too, because smithing experience is based on value created)
@@alexnoman1498 The money is not very hard to get. And u don't need a million gold to have fun. A 5k gold is more than enough to pay for ur army upkeep for a week
@@alexnoman1498 Actually, from my experience, you have less fun the more exploity/cheaty you get. I mean, I love this game, but whenever I start out to pursue certain goals, I enjoy myself until I reach a point where I go "Oh well, I could use cheats or exploits to save some time - so let's do it" - and suddenly the save isn't as much fun anymore, because you progress to ever more fiddly stages of the game. Example: I got trade to 300 and smithing to 300, which meant I had infinite money and the ability to purchase fiefs. This reduces the gameplay loop to: Find lord, buy their fiefs (trading them your crafted swords, worth 97k each), suggest to them that their liege is bad (as they have given them no fiefs, apparently), savescum the minigame, give them castles and swords to become your vassal, keep the cities for yourself. Then once you're out of swords, you go through all cities, purchase every single melee and throwing weapon, as well as all the hardwood, smelt it all down, craft swords, start at the beginning. In the end my kingdom owned literally every fief on the map, I had around 40-50 vassals. Was it fun? In the beginning it was. In the end not so much.
On xbox Own a Town Have lords as prisoners Go to the tavern and sell them Go to the prison and transfer the lords to your party Repeat On console Is Better than using the 1.000 Gold cheat, when you have 30 or more lords you can gain up to 40.000 every time you use this

I think i'll never get tired of Spiff saying "yeet". :D
No one tell Spiff that Julie Noelke is doing a merch giveaway. We wouldn’t want Spiff breaking the perfectly balanced Canadian… 😈
Given that they fixed the oddity that made my swords worth 120k, I may have to use these glitches to get stupid amounts of money instead xD
The Spiffing Brit tea is amazing I am not British but I get mad when people say the tea is bad
Infinite money -> play 2 whole days for the video
Now just imagine peoples without the infinite money trick
This game takes months of your life
Halfway through I thought: what if I didn't have a million gold, though? Would I have as much fun?
I don't know, but I'm less likely to try now.
@@alexnoman1498 The money is not very hard to get. And u don't need a million gold to have fun. A 5k gold is more than enough to pay for ur army upkeep for a week
@@masterrhonin Money isn't hard to get at all. Later game you start to get 30k+ denars per battle from loot and prisoners
I just started a new campaign and have like 15 hours and already have 400k
Oh it's so good to see the Longest John's here too!
I love how you can finnaly personaly in your own free time order over 400 troops and more with enough high leadership on you and your vassals (^-^)
I loving the comment, mr spiffing brit. subscribed. would love to see more of the boss baby!
So, pretty much the same UI bugs that have cropped up since the games initial release. Nice progress there, TaleWorlds.
YES MAKE THIS BANNELORD VIDEO A SERIES!!! PLSSS I BEG IF YOU!😭
On xbox
Own a Town
Have lords as prisoners
Go to the tavern and sell them
Go to the prison and transfer the lords to your party
Repeat
On console Is Better than using the 1.000 Gold cheat, when you have 30 or more lords you can gain up to 40.000 every time you use this
Found out the cheat by accident within a week of playing. Collected up to 28 characters and had $120k per sale. Ridiculous.
Rimworld: This is a game about managing a colony!
*Spiff turns it into an organ harvesting game.*
Prison Architect: This is a game about managing a prison!
*Spiff turns it into a farming game.*
Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord: This is a game about being a medieval lord and fighting epic battles!
*Spiff turns it into a prison management game.*
It seems Spiff sees game genres as mere suggestions, not actually indications about how the game is meant to be played. XD
Bannerlord is so full of exploits that highlighting one like this is like pointing at an army after a battle and saying "that guy killed someone!".
+1 for continuing this campaign!
Or just doing smithing, that shit makes you unlimited money.
It’s been nerfed in the beta update now
@@Yafama It's still bugged and extremely lucrative : forging a 1handed sword : 250 gold.
Forging the same sword but 2handed (same costs, same parts, same difficulty) : 1250 gold !
@@ikaruga1804 it may be broken but not 70000 gold per javelin broken. They also said they'll be adjusting it over the next few weeks anyway so lets hope that solves it.
