so this through a jet flow pump like a suction dredge aka Y pvc would make a boat faster than if same motor driving a propeller underwater? (maybey just higher top speed with less acceleration) i wonder if it'd increase acceleration though?
As far as I know, there are 3 ways to change the flow: 1. Change the opening of the push valve 2. Change the RPM of electric motor 3. Cutting and peel the impeller Pls advise

Hi Nabre, great point. The shaft does not care about the pressure just the forces on it pushing it one way or the other so the pressures will relate to force pushing the shaft one way but this can be balanced. It is a nice video I like it a lot very clear.

No. Only pressure increase

I never considered axial thrust. Do they really balance forces if every stage has higher pressure?
