    Thank you very much for the clarification of
    noticing that the manual transmission becomes very heavy. Also, the 3phase motor should be better than the single phase, because the torque is very strong. Water can rise approximately 1km per minute, depending on the size of the engine. If 10HP, water can rise more than 1km per minute.

    • @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253
      @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253  2 года назад

      Thanks. If you want the pump to be on the surface at the same time, then it is impossible, because of cavitation. In this case, you need to use a submersible centrifugal pump and lower it into the well.

    • @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253
      @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253  2 года назад +3

      The pump impeller is cantilevered. This wheel is heavy. Therefore, two bearings are used. They are installed in the crankcase. There is oil in the crankcase, it lubricates the bearings.

    Can I ask you something ? What does NPSHr parameter mean in pump selection

    • @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253
      @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253  2 года назад

      NPSHr (Net Positive Suction Head required) - the required cavitation reserve, i.e., necessary for the operation of the pump - the required pressure value at the suction pipe of the pump.

    what will be the output of 2 centrifugal pumps if one is attached horizontal and the other is vertical as it seems in the RO water system??

    • @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253
      @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253  2 года назад +1

      In this case, it is important whether the pumps are installed in parallel or in series. With a parallel installation, the flow characteristics will be added, and with a series installation, the head (pressure) characteristics will be added, and it does not matter if these pumps are horizontal or vertical.

    If the valve is locked at the pump discharge line, what will happen?

    • @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253
      @hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253  2 года назад

      The centrifugal pump will operate at maximum pressure, according to its characteristics. The pump housing will not break, the pump will pump liquid into a dead end. Such pumps do not have a hermetic separation of the suction and discharge lines, which means that the liquid will simply flow from the discharge to the suction inside the housing. The pump will pump the same liquid inside itself. If it works like this for hours, the pump may heat the water too much. This can cause the drive motor to overheat.

    If those steam turbines were built more like this pump they would be much more efficient and require far less steam to operate. Look at those steam turbines they use to generate electricity, tremendous amounts of steam to make them spin. 5 billion tons of coal we are burning to make steam to get those things to spin.
    Good water pumps are the future, we are going to have to save our river water and pump it in order to irrigate crops and move water over land. We are going to have to dredge in order to fight rising sea levels. We are going to have to dig canals. We need to stop wasting kerosene in these huge jet planes and use that fuel to dig lakes and pump water. The earth is drying up and the deserts are growing. We are going to have to plant billions of trees and water them. High efficiency pumps are the future. Saving and moving water is the future, reducing our coal consumption is the future. Saving oil and fuel. Driving to the office 5 days a week is a waste. Manufacturing is the future. The office produces nothing but cost. Office buildings are a waste. Stay home save fuel and eat. That's less expensive.
