The brush reminds me of the Maybelline Lash Sensational! Have you tried that one and what are your thoughts on the differences? I would love to see a video comparing the two because of the similar wand 😍
You and your lashes are absolutely gorgeous! Omg I never noticed how amazing your lashes are. I feel like my lashes are getting thin and short and I used to have amazing lashes. I've been thinking about using a lash growth serum but I'm worried they are all a scam, I've been trying castor oil but it really isn't making a difference. I've been practicing with individual lashes lately and they really help. I was using the waterproof Milk mascara and I absolutely love it, but I think it makes my eyes burn and water cause yesterday I used an It mascara and my eyes weren't burning like they usually do lol I've never had a reaction to mascara before and I'm glad I finally realized why my eyes have been burning and watering for the last 2 months 🤣😂 but that means I can no longer use that mascara which is such a shame because it really is an amazing formula and has a great wand lol wonder if I can clean that wand and use it with another mascara with a good formula but bad wand lol. Thank you for the review babe! You look so great!

You've already got beautiful lashes so I cant say mascara effect is fantastic.
what if my lashes are very long but lack the volume. will it be suitable? moreover, it appeared to me, that it did not separate the lashes very well, I can see them stick to one another. do you have any comments on that?

I have very short lashes and I love this. I curl my eyelashes. It definitely is a mascara that you know won't be a mess. It gives you the fanning look and volume. I try a lot of mascaras and I am going to buy this again.

I always give them one pump with a lash curler! But my lashes aren’t super straight or super curled, they sit somewhere between. Best of both!

Yes, all very well BUT you already have amazing and young lashes...any mascara would look great on your lashes!
I beg to differ! The Urban Decay lash freak was HORRENDOUS - feel free to checkout my review. Not all mascaras look good.
Hi Shona, I was actully paying you a compliment there. I speak as a 64yr old very glam lady whose training in my early 20's was with the House of Helena Rubinstein, you're too young to have heard of her, a very famous American Cosmetic Giant . I worked selling her products and making over 1000's of ladies of all agesin my beauty career..it's a well known fact and law of nature that as we ladies age, our eyelashes, like our hair naturally thin. Of course there are "rubbish" products out there...but you ARE both YOUNG and very BEAUTIFUL...even without mascara your lashes are amazing!!! X
Yeah i hate too faced better than sex mascara cuz it doesnt di nothing, only when i remove it lol and dries all my lashes and they fall
Is it really smudge proof and waterproof
How would this work on straight, short lashes? Would I have to curl them first? It says this mascara lifts, so maybe I wouldn’t have to procure. I hate curling my lashes.
I always recommend curling lashes beforehand!
Do you do anything to get your natural lashes that long or are they just long without doing anything to them? 😍
I sometimes use lash serums to help keep them tip-top! I’ve got a couple of reviews here on my channel.
I mainly want to buy this mascara just because I love the packaging but the fact that it’s good is even better 😂

Hey Rachel, no it doesn’t come away like a tubing mascara, it just melts beautifully with warm water like many easy-to-remove mascaras.

Great review! Is this sweat proof. Most mascaras transfer under eyes. Amazing since you didn't use a primer either.
I find when water gets on the mascara it breaks down easily since it can be removed with water - so no good for tears, therefore maybe not so great for sweat. However, they have released a waterproof version of this and I wore it on my wedding day. It’s fantastic. I love both versions!

Hi Shonagh - how does this mascara deal with watery eyes?
Hi Anne, they now have a waterproof version out of this mascara - that would give you more security.
I don’t personally suffer with watery eyes so I’m not sure how well this original version would hold up, I remove this warm water so I should imagine it could possibly effect the lower lash mascara if the watery eyes are persistent.
What brow pencil did you use here?

Is that the waterproof version? I bought the normal version,but it smudges. Crossing fingers that the waterproof one does not smudge and removes easily as well :)
This is the original one but I have the waterproof version, it’s amazing! Think that might be what I used on my wedding day actually!

Yeah I usually try to link Nordstrom, Sephora and Ulta since most people use those three from what I’ve heard.
I’m personally not a fan of any stick foundations on my oily skin, they always cake-up. So I didn’t really love that foundation, personally.

Hi! No it’s not waterproof but it’s transfer resistant.

You are supposed to start with the other side first then flip over and use the comb side.
This is my personal preference of using the wand, it doesn’t feel comfortable to use the outer side of the bend as it coats smaller sections each time, using the curved side means I can coat more lashes in one go and it feels more natural. But I do understand that they have designed the brush to be used in a specific way - that’s why I showed the wand up close, explaining about all the different bristles. It’s just this is my preference and works well for me 😊

Hey Juliette, are you asking if this mascara is glossy black? It’s not. It dries down like a regular black mascara.
@@ShonaghScott So here in South Africa the stockist gives two colour options: Noir or Glossy Black. Shall I get the Noir then? You are a dream thank you! xJx
Interesting! Yes, I think Noir would be the correct option if you want a result similar to mine, unless you’re specifically looking for a glossy black.

I have tried it but I rarely reach for a lash primer.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lancôme Mascaras! I got my mom and sis using it since HS! I legit dont use much makeup - but mascara is that one item i think is worth spending a little extra on! :). And TRUST me Lancôme mascara is worth it. I love definicil (sp?) as my go to cause i like my lashes to look fake long and separated! But those who want it all id say Hypnôse is it! Doll lash is just beautiful not gonna lie! And i havent tried the idol one tbh. But now i want to try it 😁😁😁😁😁😁. I dont like telling ppl products always thinking itll run out and there wont be any left for me- but then again if ppl dont know about a product the company might discontinue it!
The worst was Lancôme Definicils Precious Cells was THE BEST MASCARA ON PLANET EARTH and it was discontinued because it wasnt pushed like the others were! It was the best of the best!
Btw- if your mascara ever starts to get “dry” near the end- to save money i put 2 drops
Of contact solution and it revives it. Sometimes i do this 2-3 times before retiring my mascara!!! Lancôme reacts well to this hack and because of the price point its worth giving this hack a try. I was scared to initially try it - but im happy i did in the end ♡
