Best and worst lancome mascaras. These were all gifted to me in pr. And as much as I appreciate the gifts I must be honest with my thoughts. Let me know in the comments which one is your favorite.

ive been using Lancôme Monsieur Big Volumising mascara for months now and it has to be by far my top choice in all the mascaras ive tried, the way it makes your lashes look full, healthy and not to leggy causes this mascara to be everything to me. However as you stated the mascara does struggles with transfere especially in high humidity like here in the UK. When applying the mascara my lashes touch my brow bone and sorta make streaks which is really awkward when i find out i've been talking to people with lines of mascara on my eyebrow bone.
Yes I struggle with that too! Sometimes adding a touch of powder to my brow bone helps but not always.

Thanks for this video. Your under eyes look fabulous. I’ve been testing some mascaras the past couple of months. I love this type of video to compare different products that are similar. I do love monsieur big always and have a newly open hypnose drama with a primer yet to try. I like to keep two open mascaras-one for a fan look and another for bolder volume. My must is I can’t have them melt on my makeup. I find Lancôme mascara is the blackest and glossiest.

I don't use eyelash primer either!! I haven't used but one of the mascaras which is the Hypnose Drama and it transferred on me. Thank you so much for sharing these. Have a great rest of the week!

I use the Definicils for more than 40 years now, and i had tried many, many in between 🙄, but the only reason i use it is because ALLERGIES! Is the only mascara that my eyes don’t get bother! Sad, very sad, but i don’t trust any other, by now and tires of trying! 😔🤷🏻♀️ 😂 Thank you! for all your time and work! 👍👏

Same here! I wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes. I have used Definicils for close to 40 years because it does not bother my sensitive eyes. I can also use the other Lancôme mascaras without irritation.
Same here. I have very irritable eyes and definicils makes them happy …and it looks good. I’m satisfied but they might look too natural for some!
Im still using my Maybelline great lash waterproof. Ive tried higher priced, I always come back to Maybelline. You looked lovely in all of them though!❤

So funny- I LOVE Definicils and always come back to it and that primer makes it even better! And I’m a mascara whore too! My lashes are so long and separated which is what I like. I’m not a clumpy girl! Interesting how everything is different on everyone. Have you tried Callie Ray? Curious on your thoughts as I’m debating to try it. Love your channel, Annie!

Great video! I’ve used all of these mascara over the years and the MB is the only one I occasionally use snd like you would love it if not for the trsnsfering. I am currently enjoying Benefit Fanfest with their BGB as last coat. Loved Marc Jacobs which is of course discontinued and have 2 backups. 💜🇨🇦

I use Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara Waterproof. Its amazing, especially in winter time ( I live in Norway). Its stays all day long.

Hi Anne, I’ve never tried any of these mascaras and probably won’t, I’m happy with the results I get from my drugstore mascara and continue to purchase that one, great video as always, Hope you’re doing well, I haven’t seen you in awhile doing any #shorts videos, I quite enjoy those little videos now, I didn’t at first but now I’m hooked watching them Lol 😂. Loreal owns Lancome (or other way around?) and I find the Loreal mascaras mimic these high end ones almost perfectly.
I think the Loreal primer makes my lashes longer. The Lancôme primer doesn’t do anything for me.
So what loreal mascara is close to the lancome big moisure.😊
I've used a primer for years. Holds my lashes and mascara in place. Generally, I use Loreal but my fave is by Clinque. Lancome didn't do it for me. After watching this video though I'm going to test going without primer and see if I notice a difference.
Do your lashes stay curled?

Lancome primer is my favorite, I tried many others as well.
non of the Lancôme mascaras work for me. it doesn’t keep my eyelashes curled

I use eyelash curler (for me Chanel is the best) and I don’t use eyelash primer (I tried and I didn’t like it). My goals: hold the curls, no clump, no smudge, define the lushes and volume but in a natural way (for me too much volume make me look unnatural and ridiculous). I tried mascaras from Benefit, Too Faced, L’Oreal, Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, Chanel, YSL, Chantecaille and Lancome. Most of them don’t hold the curl and/or have panda eyes effect, clump the lashes and/or is very hard to remove. I hate oil base cleanser and I want to be able to remove mascara with regular eye makeup remover. So far for me Lancome Idole is the best: no clump, no transfer, hold the curls and give me enough volume. Right now I’m saving money to buy the new Hermes mascara. I tried in store and love it: luxurious feeling, no clumping, no transfer, hold the curls, give volume but in a natural way and can be remove just with warm water. But Hermes is very expensive and I need to see how long will last and how will perform in a long term. So until now Lancome Idole is my trusted mascara and love it very much. Thanks for sharing! :)
I haven't tested anything from that brand but the mascara sounds promising.
If you like a lot of volume (and you said you like) then Hermes is not good for you. I bought an eyeshadow palette and I ask my SA to let me to try the mascara and love it but I like moderate volume with more natural look. My advise is to try in store first because in Australia is $110 (almost double price in comparison with most of the luxury brands) and if you don’t like it’s a bit painful.😁
The only mascara I can wear is the Lancôme lash idole the pink one. I don’t like wet formula and I don’t use primer. But it does NOT irritate my eyes , flake or smudge. I’m dry skin tho. But I actually love it

I don’t like any Lancôme mascaras. They all transfer and flake on me. Right now I’m using the Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions mascara and loving it. Great video! Thank you, Anne! ❤

Have you tried the Estée Lauder Little Black Primer? It’s the only primer I’ve ever loved. Makes my nonexistent lashes look like I have nice ones. No clumping, lifts, separates and holds and is black which I love. Don’t understand why they make white ones.
@@monicapatton1405I never heard of this primer! I am always willing to try new products and that sounds very nice! I use Grande Lash Primer and find it excellent and really makes my mascaras pop. I appreciate the white because, to me, it makes the color more vibrant and it allows me to also use colored mascaras to make those pop. I can't wait to try your suggestion! ❤

I'm with you. I really like my lashes to show up bc I wear glasses. I have tried the lash l'idole, but didn't repurchase it. Currently, I have been using Hypnose Absolut de Noir. It doesn't flake or smear, and I really like the wand, which is slim. It is quite dark and gets slightly clumpy with the second coat. Have you ever tried Rare Beauty mascara? I love it bc it really shows up the best, but tends to be clumpy, even on the first coat. Right now, I have been playing around and combining Rare Beauty, Lacome Hypnose Absolut de Noir, and Clinique High Impact mascara. I try putting them on in different orders to see what I like best. Btw, I don't like the Rare Beauty wand and have tried the Lacome wand with Rare Beauty mascara. If you haven't already tried Rare Beauty mascara, I would like to know your thoughts. Thank you.

Love Grande Lash Brow serum, I have the brows of my youth back. ITA with the take on Lancome Mascaras. I used to be a sales associate (in the 80s at Maas Brothers, an old FL dept. store chain) and the Definicils was gold back in the day but no longer. Monseur Big was wonderful I wanted to like it, but it irritated my eyes.
If you haven't tried it, I love L'Oréal Lash Paradise, their mascara gives me density and length without clumping and it doesn't irritate my eyes. But it's cheap, $13. Lancôme is part of the L'Oréal Luxury Products division, so you get the benefit of R & D without paying dept. store prices.
Yes I absolutely agree 🙌I used to love several Lancome mascaras but they've definitely changed over the years.
Hi there! I just stumbled upon your video because I just bought lash idole from an ebay seller. Hope I like it better than you did. My favorite si far is Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara. If you havent tried it you definately should. Im 64 and it makes my average straight lashes very much longer with volume and lift…2 coats! Thanks enjoyed your video.

I used to love the Lancôme mascaras but not so much. My favorite is by DHC. It never smears and the brush is small to really create length.

With all the mascaras I’ve tried, I stick with Thrive, Tartlette tubing and Loreal Unlimited (the only drugstore mascara I like).

The primer is suppose to be a lash conditioner as well.
Chanel La Volume is the best for both thickness and curl. I start with one coat of Definicils as a frame first. I also like better than sex in brown. If your lashes are very thin or short skip BTS, the brush is quite fat.
I've tried the Chanel de volume and unfortunately it didn't do anything on my lashes. After several coats my lashes were barely noticeable. But I'm glad it works for you🙂

I might be😅I do apply with either hand. I don't reach over as many do because I'd end up with a blob on my nose.
