What's the point of designing a level around a code that possibly know outside of watching your videos? Why not give them a little challenge to gather information in the overworld to clues them in on what the right code is? Like have it be an auto scrolling level that plays the song "8675309".
Impressive! A few suggestions (feel free to debunk): -Remove Sawblades: Even if the player escapes the Bill Blasters, they don't have anything to gain. They can only hinder themselves by messing up the timing. -Remove the One-Way walls: While they make lining yourself up easier, you can force the player to commit to their digit choices by tightening the timer/padding the beginning or end, making it so they don't have time to make corrections if they don't collect enough coins in a slot. Also: If you decide to add a Main-World lock layer, you could potentially make it more difficult to pick by sight by adding layers of tracks (+maybe items on the tracks), signs, semi-solid platforms, and "randomly spawned*" background decorations, as when the thumbnail is generated, the resulting compression will add noise, at the cost of lock-complexity. You could also make the compression/noise level higher by using a more visually detailed game style (Super Mario World, or New Super Mario Bros. U), at the cost of potentially giving the player a minor amount of visual ques. Such ques may be mitigated by the above mentioned random* background objects, and semi-solid platforms. *they spawn in randomly, but if you use the copy-paste function, it will retain any decoration.
It appears to me that you didn't generate the password ramdomly, considering the fact that no number repeats itself for more than 3 digits (humans are very bad at making random numbers and when they try to make "random" numbers they usually leave a bunch of patterns, the number just "looks" random, theres a numberphile video on that you should search it), so you could shave off whole orders of integers, like integers that dont repeat more than 4 times and a bunch of stuff thus making the number of posibilites lower in orders of magnitude. It would still be a very large and unfeasible number though
No number repeats itself more than three digits. Lol. It does seem probable that he didn't generate it, but a random number most definitely can generate with three repeating digits. Unlikely or not.
@@betacarotene5980 yes but that's a sure way to see if a human made this number, there's an experiment where people would choose between flipping a coin 100 times and writing the results or just lie and write the results, if i recall the scientists could determine in about 80% of the cases if the person lied or actually flipping the coins by just seeing if there were any streaks, the result "heads, heads, heads, heads, heads, heads" doesn't look random but it happens a lot when you look at very large numbers.
@@betacarotene5980 you can also look at the disparity of the numbers, when people write random numbers they usually like to keep the numbers spread out evenly without any sequentiation, there are thousands of patterns, what happens is that in reality, the last numbers have absolutely no effect on the following ones, but we humans look at the numbers in context with the ones before that one, that's the gambler's fallacy and that's why we are bad at making actual random numbers.
@@betacarotene5980 wait i just re-read your comment and i think that you misread what i said, i said that the reason why his number probably isn't random is BECAUSE no number repeats itself more than three digits.

Nine quattuorvigintillion, forty-six trevigintillion, two hundred and fifty six duovigintillion, nine hundred and seventy one unvigintillion, six hundred and sixty five vigintillion, three hundred and twenty seven novemdecillion, seven hundred and sixty seven octodecillion, four hundred and sixty six septendecillion, four hundred and eighty three sexdecillion, two hundred and three quindecillion, eight hundred and three quattuordecillion, seven hundred and forty two tredecillion, eight hundred and one duodecillion, thirty six undecillion, seven hundred and seventeen decillion, five hundred and fifty two nontillion, three octillion, one hundred and sixty nine septillion, sixty five sextillion, five hundred and eighty two quintillion, six hundred and twenty three quadrillion, seven hundred and fifty trillion, six hundred and eighteen billion, two hundred and thirteen million, two hundred and fifty three thousand and twelve.
I just waisted 30 minuets of my life...
What's the point of designing a level around a code that possibly know outside of watching your videos? Why not give them a little challenge to gather information in the overworld to clues them in on what the right code is? Like have it be an auto scrolling level that plays the song "8675309".
My guess is he tried his imagination but he was disturbed
Yes you should make more videos like this. Videos explaining mario maker mechanics are fun.
Why not wait a week to give out the code?
Brant Axt u gon guess that?
Calm down a sec satan
Why not wait forever to give out the code?
Impressive!
A few suggestions (feel free to debunk):
-Remove Sawblades: Even if the player escapes the Bill Blasters, they don't have anything to gain.
But why give out the code? Now you won't know who cheated.
Anyone who beats it cheated lol
wadduphomeizd lmao i got it first try ezpz def no cheating
@@zenthichutt7071, of course lol
@@zenthichutt7071 yeah right
How about when one person gets it right
If Panga were to come across this level, he’d for sure “BOO” it 😂
😡
He’s helping the dev route makers
With the same chance you can unlock new characters in Mario Kart Tour so...
xD
Lmao XD
@@betacarotene5980 i found the video, search "Randomness is Random Numberphile"
You inspired me to make my own code,my code is way shorter than yours, but I made it short because I can't memorize that, and I didn't wanna copy yours too.And I don't have online so I can't share it with the world so I guess its pointless, but hey!At least I made myself happy.
"Satan has left the lobby"
Imagine getting it right but not pressing up on the door in time
So you’re saying there’s a chance.
A one in a million chance doesn't seem so unlikely anymore does it? ;)
I love how this works like a real lock and how the coin counter works as a checksum.
Imagine messing up the timing at the end of the timer and having to do the stage again
Honestly, thank you for giving the code and sparing some people who would try this for years on end till they figure it out.
...except for those unlucky people who find it unaware of the video.
RIP them
Imagine thin in a non-skip challenge
Matías Rivera Carvajal I think that’s why he gave the code. It will turn up in endless mode because of how many people beat it
Imagine seeing this in super expert and your doing a no skip challenge
Dream gonna do this first try
i have missed part where you explain why it could be interesting to play
Imagine getting this in super expert no skip
LockpickingLawyer will clear this stage in 30 seconds
Imagine trying this level the first time for fun and beat it first try ;D
You would be the luckiest person who has ever exist
A 24/7 livestream for this level would be hilarious
Imagine sending this to youtubers like DashieGames... *The Brain Meat Situation is at MAX*
NEXT!
I stopped after playing for 34140086531256790 hours
I saw that Aura ended up getting this level in super expert and he instantly quit. Dcolon!
Time to make an impossible level with this as a dev exit that is hard to find.
This is the most intelligent comment I've seen on this video. This could be used to upload impossible levels if you want.
Dude. But the actual combination is way harder to get than any well hidden dev exit.
Really had to put the schmoves on us at the end.
Crazy that nobody has done this before because it's not overly complicated.
This would be a good homework for math students. Heck this entire level could be the exam.
