Seeing that going along almost silently is so very strange. Yeah the 2 strokes are part of the charm, but sooner or later let's face it you won't be able to legally drive a 2 stroke on the roads.
I get the idea and that's a great way to convert existing scooters rather than building new ones moving forward. BUT, 2 stroke and manual is what we love about vespas, it's like removing their soul and having an empty shell. It's a bit sad, really.
thats one way to look at it . keep in mind you still have the engine and can put it back in any time . think of the electric kit as a fast alternative to the engine once you try one you will love it
