One of our biggest audio upgrades for the Volkswagen Transporter T6 which really showcases some of the best automotive audio equipment on the market at the moment. No expense was spared with this upgrade and really went above and beyond on this as well as the main overall conversion we offered!
A big video but we wanted to explain a bit more of behind the scenes and what's involved with a truly unique Audio Upgrade on this level.

When you're installing a system like this it's super important to also treat the doors and paneling with Appropriate High Quality Sound Deadening. This is what we did:
Front
Stage 1 Skinz - Skinz Expert 3mm (Inside Door / Outside Door / Door Card)
Stage 2 Skinz - Skinz Panel Liner (Inside of Plastic Door Card)
Stage 3 Skinz - Skinz Wave Diffuser (Behind the Speaker Area)
Rear
Stage 1 Skinz - Skinz Expert 3mm (Around Speaker Area)
Once all of the equipment is installed we then have to Tune, Correct and Time-Align the System with Specialist Software to give you an exceptional quality of sound.

I'd love that in my T6, would like the tweeter/mid in a pillar, mid bass in standard door and a sub under the driver seat though. Love the all black roof lining/pillar and door cards! Nice install guys! 👍🏻

The weight of all that silentcoat must be huge. Can’t believe how much you have used. Even their own website doesn’t describe it as being applied to every panel- it’s to lower the frequency only??
Lovely job what is the rough cost to install the Audison kit in a t6.1 front only sub door speakers ect
Nicely done. Have you done any T6.1 audio upgrades? Does the same speakers fit the doors etc?
Speakers are smaller on the 6.1 and the headunit is just a display, the brain is in a different location.
How are you sending the music to the head unit in this set up? Did you sound deadened the outer skin of the door. ?
Sending the audio via USB. Yes always sound deaden on an install like this. Had 3 stage which is all panels inside and out, panel liner and a form of diffuser on the outer skin
@@AdvancedInCarTechnologies so it’s not a fully digital then? Why don’t you send the music to the amp via WiFi? I have a full Audison digital setup in my T6 that was built with Audison and using the usb isn’t the best.
Slightly incorrect statement there. Never said our system couldn’t offer WiFi or go direct to the processor but in this instance it’s USB in the video.
Remember, it all comes down to customer specification on an install of this scale. They wanted things a certain way and wanted to operate via a headunit and not direct to the Processor (Which this system can also offer)
Also USB is considered the “better” source for transmission hence why Audison recommend this when operating via a headunit.

It is. Just because we’re using USB at one point for the benefit of a video doesn’t mean it’s not.
I don't good these is but my phone speaker can't handle it

Unfortunately it's always tricky to get across the sound quality of an audio setup as, like you say, your phone speaker struggles to reproduce what we can hear when we made the video. As with many potential audio upgrades it's best to try and visit somewhere that you can have a demo listen.

Front Only Packages start from about £1500. Front & Rear from £2500 but as mentioned in the description it’s a very bespoke “Custom” install so there isn’t a set price.

You said about 17 million words in this video and could’ve summed it up in about 100…
And there was no sound off.
Demos are very misrepresentative of real life sound. Once our ears get used to quality, in real world driving especially, it falls back to factory-fit basics. It's a car, not a concert hall.
