PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT - This is a Long Video For Those That Want To Know What We Did And Where!
Ok so in our latest offering into the world of VW Transporter T6 Upgrades we had a customer who wanted to Fully Deaden the front interior cab to make it as quiet and enjoyable as possible whilst driving so it sounded and felt more like a car!!
A real fun upgrade for us here and something a bit different from the usual electronics and retrofits that we offer.
As mentioned we use a consortium of Dodo Mat & Silent Coat Products that included:
✓ Dodo Mat DEADN 2mm Pro (Silver and Black)
✓ Silent Coat Extra 4mm Mat
✓ Dodo Mat 6mm Super Liner
✓ Dodo Mat 15mm Acoustic Liner
In the video itself we go over the product used, where we have applied and why as well as giving you a full run down right at the end!

Damn man, that is absolutely beautiful. Wish vehicles came stock like this. Hate road noise on the motorway. This looks like it'd be epic! The cabin often gets forgotten and only the back gets done. Doing the outer wheel wells as well as inner is dope too.

Have you ever done a before and after sound check measurement? I'd be really interested to know as I do a lot of motorway miles and my T6.1 is noisy.
Copied you exactly on the doors, however my door card will not go back on. Had to remove the acoustic matting to get the door card back on!
Looks great. Do VW California's benefit from receiving any of this additional sound deadening? Or is the factory deadening good?
Why you don't show the process of put the insulation or how change the speakers....
Hi Thanks for a great video. I came looking because I've been doing virtually the same to my 6.1 and found I can't get the door cards back on properly.. the rear edges won't clip back in. did you have to trim off any of the sound absorber?

It's mainly the 2mm / 4mm Sound Deadening that is the heavy part. We've never weighed it but for this install it would about 35kg based on the box weights.
Amazing work, and can see its time consuming. Are you able to give ballpark cost?
