@Submissions101 Yeah, same here guys. I'm very appreciative. The moves aren't basic white belt flow material, I like the technical explanation of everything here. Thanks again.
Always love these vids. Most of my sub and sweep ideas come from here and it has greatly improved my game. Thanks and keep up the good work...BJJ for everyone!!!
Just rewatching the sweep and it just hit me that this is such a great set up for the Bollinger neck tie. It might be hard if they won't let that arm come off their body but as long as you trap the other arm to your head it will threaten the arm bar and they should let it go.
i don't think i would ever want to take side control on Pedro, let alone attempt to... do you reckon you could post a video on him showing how to not get swept when you have side control?
what was causing your hand to be trapped? when he brought his hands together before bridging im not sure what he is doing to keep u trapped. could u explain this or better yet do a video for this move :)! thanks Ari Very much appreciated and keep up the fantastic stuff. congrats on the new dvd coming out this summer
awesome escape. but right after he sneaks his arm under where does he put it? like before he slides his body and locks his hands. i couldn't tell from the angle.
What I can't understand is after 4 years of this video and the Kurt Osiander videos et al.; guys are STILL using the "belt-grab" to defend the Kimura... Just... Just don't do it guys.... Unless you're fighting me of course lol then do it all you want.....
I train at his main Academy. We often forget how lucky we are to have him there on a regular basis. He is amazing.
Mr. Sauer is so technical and I just love it.

If you stop at marker 2:34, you can see in the mirror that he's grabbing the gi on the triceps.
sweet! Thanks Ari.. gonna try this one tonight
Great video and a very cool technique
@Submissions101 this is random, but what do you think about rolling with your eyes closed for training purposes?

I see a beautiful short arm scissor counter to this when the person clasps their hands together!
Thank you so much.

Seems like it's the bicep/forearm...

That's some sexy technique
Shouldn't he be referred to as Master instead of professor since he is a coral belt?
