Funny story: The first time I played Ocarina of Time after Twilight Princess, I was disappointed that the theme from Hyrule Field in Twilight Princess didn't play. But then after I went back and played Twilight Princess a second time, I was disappointed that the theme from Hyrule Field in Ocarina of Time didn't play. Funny how the game grew on me that way. It's possible, I think. People are finding the most interesting things to put into games that aren't originally there. So, I think a simple soundtrack wouldn't be too hard to put in.
How do you make these? Do you manually need to make the entirety of the song then add the soundfont, or can you just import the track then add the soundfont edits?
Firstly, I convert the sequenced sound data to midi. Then I fix anything up in the midi that doesn't sound right manually (which is a lot of work). Then I add the SoundFont.
I am able to create these videos as a by-product of the research put into creating rips. 80% of the work is research, such as reverse-engineering and coding. Why does everyone call Twilight Princess edgy. It was more realistic, but not edgy. Link in the game is more of a brother figure. Not some edgy bloke.

I think you would refer to it as not being General MIDI compatible.
@@aliice_qt (Sorry about the late reply) The instruments are not in random order. Their order is determined by their hexidecimal number which can be used to match the preset number to the numbers on each voice when you rip the sequences from Twilight Princess. This makes it very easy to analyze and change the music in Twilight Princess. If you are trying to use programs which use the General MIDI order you must manually change the instruments. This is why I use SynthFont for all "re-SoundFonting". These are the presets and their instruments.
