The only thing that could have made this brush set that much more desirable would have been purple handles. Could you imagine… Fusion between natural and synthetic. Fusion of her blue and red handles. It would have been so perfect!
I really hope you was able to get the purple handle 💜 ones. I truly hope these want to close together and you're able to get the limited edition i think it's called #Lotus set. I really hope you got them.

I’m such a fan of the quality of Japanese fude synthetic brushes. How synthetic bristles can feel & perform like natural is simply amazing! As someone with dry sensitive eye skin, I’ve added more cream products to my stash - esp. eyeshadow. So this line is right up my alley 😍

Due to oily skin I rarely use cream products but still bought this set to go with my large Sonia G collection. Like the dense heads matches and reminds me of my fave orig fat handled red brushes
And now I will have a full size mini base to go with my cough, two, cough travel size. It's probably my favorite and I'm going to try it with Lisa's blush on top of my new PML foundation today! Woot.

I got the set 😅 I signed up to pre-order and got the text while at work a day b4 launch and ordered ,,, I was also shocked they went so quickly as Sonia also commented on her IG; she also said she was already getting on re-stocking in July and at the latest early August 👌 at least they aren't LE (looking at you Wayne Goss) so they'll be an opportunity for all to grab them once they re-stock ❤️
It’s a month after I first watched this and decided to purchase the set. Of course they sold out very quickly but Beautylish just restocked and my brushes finally arrived. They are beautiful and I can’t wait to try them so I just circled around again for a review tutorial with brushes in hand. I have several Fude brushes based on your reviews and recommendations over the past year and a half. These are perfect since I’m using more cream products. I have the Keyaki set and the mini base is a gem- so versatile when traveling ( although we haven’t gone far.) Thank you again for the wonderful brush reviews. I don’t buy any brushes until I hear what you have to say.
Gosh I love your reviews Alicia! I think this is my favorite Sonia G launch. I'm trying to minimize the amount of brushes i used so I'm going to consider the classic base, soft concealer combo you suggested. I love one stop shop brushes and if i can use the shift concealer to apply my cream shadows that'll make applying makeup even faster for me. We're so blessed to have Sonia!

First time watching, this really helped narrow down my selection. I've been using Zoeva for the last 8 years ( yes, 8 years, when you could only order directly from Germany.) They are still in fantastic condition. I however, misplaced my foundation brush and simply looking to change things up. Thanks alot.

I would say maybe not the whole set, but at least Classic Base or Mini Base. Because you can technically use of Wayne’s brushes for concealer blending, but it will take away more product because it’s not as tightly packed as Sonia’s.
An update on these !!! Can't wait to order them!! Thanks so much for the brush comparisons those were really helpful. I'm looking to get the classic base, mini base and soft concealer. The jumbo base looks great but may be too big (I already have the Fenty one) maybe I'll get it next time around. BK 106 is my go to foundation brush right now.

I don't love the shape of the jumbo concealer for my concealer application. But I do love that size for contour, powder, and dare I say? Cream eyeshadow. For sure.

Great breakdown and comparisons! I have 2 of the Fupa Brushes , which I love but they do get prickly so the Jumbo base is enticing. I only have Sonia’s eye brushes. I really want this face set but think I will have to wait til the next restock (hopefully for holiday). I bought too many blushes this Spring. Lol.I am fairly certain these will sellout today or those week. Wah!
Would you say the jumbo base gives as high coverage as the BK 101 or FuPa? I find my mini base absorbs a bit more foundation than I'd like but jumbo base looks denser + offers that patting application
So, the fire alarm in my building goes off at 11:38; as I’m waiting to purchase the brushes. 😳 I grab my dog, go outside sit in the car and wait to place my order on Beautylish. The site was as slow as molasses; but somehow I ended up ordering two sets and had to cancel one of the orders. 🥴

It depends on what hole you need to fill and how your makeup routine looks like. If you want a brush set for face and eyes, then Wayne’s. But if you already have plenty of eye brushes that you love, but primarily use liquid/cream products, then the Fusion Series is crucial.

I love your reviews! I know you are in love with Sonia’s brushes,so am I, I’d like to ask you-between Jumbo base and BK 101(so many youtubers rave about it) what is the main difference and are they compatible or Jumbo base is much better?
BK Beauty is a bigger brush, and will blend out foundation quickly on the larger parts of your face. Jumbo Base you can get around eyebrows and nose and little easier.
I was refreshing Beautylish at 12:59EST like a crazy person and was able to grab the jumbo base, classic base, and jumbo concealer. After watching this, I’m thinking I have to go back for the soft concealer during the restock, eek!
Alicia always understand the assignment 🙌🏽. Sis, which concealer brush would you recommend with thin concealer formulas like the Fenty bright fix? These dark circles are real but I don’t like doing the most for these zoom calls 😉
I know I’m getting jumbo concealer and jumbo base. What I’m debating is classic vs mini base. Im leaning toward classic since I want something for cream blushing
The Rephr 24, although more tightly packed than others, still not as much as Sonia’s Jumbo Base. And because it’s all natural hair, it will take away more product than Sonia’s natural/synthetic blend.
I can't get my foundation to stay on my nose with the jumbo base!! Help lol I don't want to have to use Beauty blender at the end. That's why I got rephr, bk, n these fusion brushes. Everyone said with these they don't need blenders anymore

I used then with Lisa’s Elevated Glow! I like to use my other brushes for primer, because it dries hard and I didn’t want it to wreck my Sonia brushes 😅
How do you care for the Sonia G brushes. I haven’t cleaned mine yet. My smith cosmetic brushes didn’t do well after I put them in water. I washed them with Sigma soap.

Classic base does apply cream blush beautifully. I think the bk101 is my favorite for cream blushes 😊

I absolutely love your brush videos;I’m just getting into Sonia G brushes which I’m loving !!🥰 I am looking for a liquid foundation brush but I like a little more movement in my foundation brushes would that be the Classic base or the Jumbo base ? I have the Bk beauty 101 but I wish it had a little more movement.
I was confuse about the classic base and the mini base … I just can buy one … so I pick up the mini base !! I hope I love it … I don’t have great experience with brushes and foundation … I hate when let my face with stripes… I hope this one don’t let me fall !!
I don't love the shape of the jumbo concealer for my concealer application. But I do love that size for contour, powder, and dare I say? Cream eyeshadow. For sure.
Bare Minerals has a synthetic brush just like the jumbo base and it’s super soft and half the price.

I’m surprised how expensive some synthetic brush are - I’d rather splurge for a little more and have both. I want every brush she has. Had to get the set because the individuals were sold out- can’t wait!

Great breakdown and comparisons! I have 2 of the Fupa Brushes , which I love but they do get prickly so the Jumbo base is enticing. I only have Sonia’s eye brushes. I really want this face set but think I will have to wait til the next restock (hopefully for holiday). I bought too many blushes this Spring. Lol.I am fairly certain these will sellout today or those week. Wah!

Would you say the jumbo base gives as high coverage as the BK 101 or FuPa? I find my mini base absorbs a bit more foundation than I'd like but jumbo base looks denser + offers that patting application
Yes, Jumbo Base is more dense, and will deliver coverage close to that of the FuPa and BK 101-

Can't decide whether to get sonia g fusion brushes or wayne goss edit collection brushes?
It depends on what hole you need to fill and how your makeup routine looks like. If you want a brush set for face and eyes, then Wayne’s. But if you already have plenty of eye brushes that you love, but primarily use liquid/cream products, then the Fusion Series is crucial.

I love your reviews! I know you are in love with Sonia’s brushes,so am I, I’d like to ask you-between Jumbo base and BK 101(so many youtubers rave about it) what is the main difference and are they compatible or Jumbo base is much better?
BK Beauty is a bigger brush, and will blend out foundation quickly on the larger parts of your face. Jumbo Base you can get around eyebrows and nose and little easier.
I was refreshing Beautylish at 12:59EST like a crazy person and was able to grab the jumbo base, classic base, and jumbo concealer. After watching this, I’m thinking I have to go back for the soft concealer during the restock, eek!

Alicia always understand the assignment 🙌🏽. Sis, which concealer brush would you recommend with thin concealer formulas like the Fenty bright fix? These dark circles are real but I don’t like doing the most for these zoom calls 😉
Probably the Jumbo Concealer since it’s more dense, and will not soak up as much product!
I know I’m getting jumbo concealer and jumbo base. What I’m debating is classic vs mini base. Im leaning toward classic since I want something for cream blushing

The Rephr 24, although more tightly packed than others, still not as much as Sonia’s Jumbo Base. And because it’s all natural hair, it will take away more product than Sonia’s natural/synthetic blend.
I can't get my foundation to stay on my nose with the jumbo base!! Help lol I don't want to have to use Beauty blender at the end. That's why I got rephr, bk, n these fusion brushes. Everyone said with these they don't need blenders anymore

Thank you for the detailed review. I expect to use these as well for face and eye primers and luminizers. Did you consider or try these brushes with those kinds of products? And my apologies if I missed them in your video - I think these could be great in part because of their utility beyond color products…
I used then with Lisa’s Elevated Glow! I like to use my other brushes for primer, because it dries hard and I didn’t want it to wreck my Sonia brushes 😅

How do you care for the Sonia G brushes. I haven’t cleaned mine yet. My smith cosmetic brushes didn’t do well after I put them in water. I washed them with Sigma soap.
I use a microfiber towel in between products, and then wash them with my Hakuhodo or Beauty Blender soap once a month-
Is there a way to condition them
