Hello my lovelies, happy Wednesday! Apologies for the late upload. It’s been a rough few days. Hoping I can get fridays video edited much quicker so it won’t be a late upload 🙈 I hope you enjoy this video. I have learn to love Sonia G brushes despite the insane price tag 🤪 let me know what you think 😊
Sonia G brushes are game changers ❤ they aren’t just luxury but they are “fude” which means brush in Japanese; Sonia G brushes are expensive because they are hand made “fude” made by Japanese artisans by hand ❤ they aren’t factory or machine made; the fusion series; which are most of the ones you have are mixed synthetic & goat hair but most of the rest of her brushes are made with high quality goat hair; specifically saikoho goat hair; I own mostly all of her eye & face brushes 🥰 & literally love them all ! If I could recommend of the two eye sets she has (The pro eye set & sky eye set) I’d recommend the sky eye set (blue handles); for all over powder I’d recommend the pro face or master face brushes & for bronzer I’d highly recommend the designer pro (it’s a smaller brush) or the inochige pro (a little bigger tear drop shaped) ❤ the niji pro or hinoki ( hinoki set are LE with 2 brushes) are also great bronzer brushes but the niji is a bigger brush but it’s shape & denser bristles give it precise application & it’s great for those hard to pick up formulas (ie baked gelee ) finally I’d highly recommend reading her blog; sweet makeup temptations.com where she details all her brushes & talks about their function & how they’re made ❤ I’ve been buying her brushes from the beginning & have used them for years; so I kinda consider myself somewhat of an expert 😅🥰 anyway great video & I also bought & tried the new brush & I loved it !!! I hope my comment can be helpful ❤ ps Rephr brushes are also really good brushes also handmade in Japan but are less pricey than Sonia G & they offer great sales of up to 40% off or more & buy one get one deals !
Your daughter patiently waiting to show us her Play Doh cake was so sweet! What an absolute cutie!!! ❤ I need to begin a Sonia G face brush collection. Switching to natural hair changed my eyeshadow game…and right now I only have synthetic face brushes. I hope the Sonia G will up my face makeup game! I think I’m starting with this brush! Edited to add: Her sweet little “bye” and wave at the end! 🥺 She is adorable!!
Given your powder brush preferences I think you would love the Inochige Pro. It's medium-sized, very soft, tapered, and has great movement on the face (not too dense). Loved your demo for the Sheer Buffer and appreciate that you used a light touch with it!
I use the Sephora brush spray to spot clean and wash them with any makeup brush soap when they need to be washed. I have this rubber mat I “scribe” them gently on

Gorgeous brush! I would buy it but Sonia G’s face brushes are so damn expensive. I have a few of her eye brushes. They are great 😊❤
Omg yes pretty expensive 🙈
How do you recommend on cleaning them?
