Here I test 16 kinds of ammo in this Semiautomatic Rifle from Savage. These groups are worst-case scenario because it was WINDY! Better reliability second time out -- even cycled ELEY Subsonic. I like the MDT Chassis and pistol grip. Don't like the trigger or the new way to adjust. 4LB trigger. Waiting for Jard drop-in. Disappointed that Savage did not use the RED Target Accutrigger. Short video -- check out the groups.

Just a tip but shooting copper and lead bullets through your barrel without cleaning the barrel will over foul your barrel. I once shot 30 copper bullets than lead, after doing this twice my bullets were hitting the target sideways, i looked down the barrel and my barrel had become a smoothbore! Just figure i should mention this for your accuracy testing.

What if you just shoot lead? Can you switch ammo types without cleaning if they are both lead? How many rounds do you need to clean after

i found my savage b22 fv shoots more accurate the more rounds i put through it. seems it needed about a 500 round break-in period for me and my b22 fv. interested to see what your rifle can do on a calm day.

Good to know. I noticed a difference in reliability from day 1 to day 2. Have not cleaned it either. Thanks for watching. Part III some calm day! MOA computations.

All match grade .22 ammo must be lot tested - even Tenex.
