    Nice rifle! The failure to extract issue is fairly common with the B22 and Mk2 series. I found that when I popped the C clip for the extractors off and gently bent it inward and reinstalled it, it helped a lot. I think the CCI standard velocity is lubricated and it fouls the chamber more and caused my FTE malfunctions. Thanks for the video

      I've heard the same. Someone also recommended doubling up on the ejector clip around the bolt

      I called the company and they sent me a mew extractor for free.

    That sucks that you had trouble with CCI standard it is a subsonic round, wonder if you ran a can if that would help ?

    Thanks for another great review! I'm looking at both the CZ457 & a Savage B22 (my boys are wanting B22's for Christmas) and saw that you had and reviewed both-
    Is there a clear difference in accuracy between your two?
    Thanks!

      The CZ 457 is very popular with benchrest shooters, factory class. I’m not sure that the B22 MDT has been out long enough to get a following in that regard.
      With either Gun, accuracy Is a matter of finding the 22 ammo that it likes, and that can be quite an endeavor with the scarcity of ammo presently. Both shoot well with decent ammo. I like Geco Match.
      The biggest difference between the two is the general appearance: beautiful Wood stock versus tactical looking MDT stock. I think you could be happy with either or in my case both! 😊

      @@farleyjj1 Thanks for the reply. While my boys (10 & 12) have asked for the synthetic stock models for Christmas, I would personally prefer the B22G which is the hardwood stock version.

    So neither the B22 nor the A22 could have the trigger weight adjusted down to the advertised 1.5Lb ?
    How many magazines does it come with?
    Which is more accurate, the B22 or A22?
    I'm thinking about buying one of these precision rifles in the next couple days. Thanks for making the videos. Liked and subscribed.

      The A22 is not advertised to go down to 1.5 pounds because it does not have the TARGET Accu trigger. The bolt action B22 does have the RED target accutrigger -- maybe another rifle WILL adjust down. Mine did not.
      Comes with one magazine.
      I think the bolt action B22 has the potential to be more accurate. Bolt actions generally are more accurate than semi automatics.
      Thanks for watching!

    Nice video. How did the federal auto match shoot that you had on your bench?

    • @farleyjj1
      @farleyjj1  4 года назад

      Not particularly well. Geco Match & other better ammos shot better. Geco Match seems to be a decently placed, quality match ammo. Geco semi auto is fine as well. (If you can find any. 😳)

      @@farleyjj1 I really want to like this gun and get one for myself, but it just seems like such a missed opportunity with the mag. Going with a mag release like all their other AICS pattern chassis and really making it feed/function well would have put this on top

    • @farleyjj1
      @farleyjj1  4 года назад

      @@DrLuigiPhd with a little use, the mag works much better, and is no longer an issue. Guess there was a break-in period. I wouldn’t let that mag dissuade you from purchasing one.

      Perhaps a single shot adapter is on the horizon. I have one for my CZ 457, and my Ruger precision rimfire.

    Pretty p- poor groups for 47 yards. Scope and rifle rest. And yes I have done better with a pistol open sights. But thanks I wont waste my money on one.

      Thanks for watching, but there is no way that you shot better groups with a pistol with open sight! You have videos to show on your channel?
