Some people in the comments have made some really good points that Connor and Aveline could get involved in this story as well, helping Arno hunt down Shay and the Templars. @@masterassassin791 I think they could possibly connect this to the main modern day story currently going on as well. Maybe there’s a hunt for the location of the tree thing in Connor’s Dream sequence that gave him mystical powers maybe that’s where Loki’s son Fenrir was buried under and that why it really has that capabilities and they could connect it that way to the main story. They could also do the same with Bayek sequel and find out Basim also wants to bring back his child the world serpent like he has in Norse mythology and in a Bayek sequel ir finds what his dream sequence in the first game was actually leading to when he fought that snake it was actually a hint to his future with the World Serpent connecting the games even further.
Agree with the 3v1 situation, since Shay is extremely skilled and literally able to hunt down many assassins all by himself, just like how OP Ezio was during his 60s. also the game should have atleast 3 endings, kill shay/kill the assasins/convince shay to join back the assassins. (this would be hardest since you will need to find all possible clues and proof that the assassins wasnt wrong, just the colonial brotherhood happened to have a bad leader like in ac1.)

This is a great idea! Something like that all that happaned after waked up in revelations, was just a dream. Then the story would really be cool that something the end of the world stuff happening like in the ending of AC 3 but Desmond would agree with Minerva instead of Juno and Desmond wouldn't save the world in 2012. It could be connecting to the ending of Valhalla when (potentially) Desmond (The Reader) and Layla starts to look for a soulution for end the cycle. Because they started to look at the possibilites if Desmond wouldn't save the world in 2012. Then ahhh. I would be satisfied.
I do hope Desmond returns, I hope they make him a body to return, or even tricking Basim in the final of what they’re currently doing and having him make a return having his consciousness in Basim’s body instead that way and destroying that site to try to make sure there’s never his return. Then Desmond could still have his high concentration of first civ DNA most likely already higher than his own since other types of sages that get reborn have shown to have extremely high first civ DNA that someone that was full blood one originally would have even higher concentration then the other sage. Even though I would prefer if Desmond was created a new DNA from the Abstergo lab creating one for Juno also stealing back his samples to have his actual DNA apart of the creation of his revival so we can continue visiting actual ancestors of Desmond because that’s what I found as an extremely cool concept of it being their ancestors. Even though I think there’s still a place for reliving the memories based on remains. I also think it makes more since for Desmond to be the Heir to memories because he actually has an established lineage where Layla it could’ve been anyone since it’s not established to be her ancestors just DNA from corpses
I think Aveline should probably be in their as well if Arno travels to the U.S. since Aveline speaking French I think could help him best learn about the brotherhood there with her speaking in his first language where I think Arno should meet Aveline first in New Orleans, and she be the one to eventually introduce him to Connor at the Homestead and we get the AC title panning in the sky like we usually do after we finish the Intro and are in front of the Homestead.
I would like to see that I hope it does happen it would have a interesting story I would like to play as Connor where connor has to hunt down Shay but connor has to travel to france to find and kill shay and retrieve an artefact that shay took of Arno's father but is interupted by Arno trying to kill shay for the brotherhood but Arno is captured by shay and Connor has to save him connor tells Arno about his plans to kill Shay and Connor tells Arno that Shay killed Arno's father Connor and Arno team up to kill shay and retrieve the artefact they travel to Ireland England Scotland Norway the Carribean Spain New York and Boston then Shay goes and fight Connor and Arno back at the Homestead and Connor and Arno kill Shay then and connor retrieves the artefact
I had a similar idea which was this: At the time of the American Civil War Connor and Arno could run into an old, hunted-down Shay. It would make a great story of reconciliation (even though we know that later Templars and Assassins will become enemies again). But Connor had doubts about the conflict because of his father and worked with him at times. Arno was also marked by peace between Assassins and Templars through the efforts of Mirabeau and De la Serre to reach an alliance. And of course through his Élise too. Shay, as a former assassin, will probably take the longest to be convinced, because of course he was deceived by the assassins in the past! But in the end he will want a reconciliation too! This truce is unlikely to last long, but I imagine this story has huge potential. And besides, you could add some interesting twists and turns with the Civil War.

Love the civil war idea actually brig it together assassins and templars though so that would be a great story with different characters
@@jessicastrike5640 Oh, you're absolutely right! It was a mistake to not check their birth dates! Haha, Shay would have to be 130 years old to see the beginning of the Civil War! Maybe such sequel could take place during the Mexican War of Independence instead. But still Shay would be around 80 to 90 in this case which could be hard to realize in this story. And the Napoleonic Wars did not have that much of an impact on North America. And otherwise not much happened in the U.S. during that time. Maybe that's why we did not get a sequel. But still I would love to see an Assassin's Creed taking place during the American Civil War.
I enjoyed Assassin’s Creed Rogue. It’s such a refreshing story, an Assassin turned Templar, and the game wasn’t overwhelming as other flagship AC games which gave me time to do side quests like conquering the forts, gang head quarters, and hunting those artefacts and treasures without being so exhausted. Plus, the naval warfare is more polished and easier to control than Jackdaw. Overall, I give AC Rogue 9/10.
You are entitled to your own opinion. For me, I didnt like rogue at all. The graphics was of ac3 and gameplay of ac4. It didn't feel new at all, not was the story anywhere close to ac2 or rdr2 level. Yes im comparing the story to rdr2 (only story!) and its funny because if rdr2's story were a 9, rogue's would be 5, or 4. lol.
I think Aveline introduces Arno to the states since she speaks French so she can speak to him in a language he’s more familiar with while teaching him about the brotherhood here, and I think they’d get along well. I also think the ending should mirror Rogue where Arno decides to spare Shay since we know from the books he had kids, and I don’t think Arno would want to just repeat the cycle and have the same thing that happen to that kid that happened to him losing a father and having to witness it. Then I think Connor mirrors his father Haythem in Rogue and cripples Shay to try to make sure he won’t kill an Assassin again.
@@hushed279 I prefer just like one true endings for Assassin’s Creed because I also read the books and graphic novels where it leave more room for one good storyline because or else it limits what they can write for after the story takes place and if their was multiple endings and they did write after for its characters it either has to be vague or skip over the ending or it has to make some choices not cannon which is like what’s the point of having multiple endings in that case especially if they ever want to do more stories like the Descendants storyline where you can see characters show up again or their descendants it’s just nice to have it where the writers can just write the story they want that can reference the games without having to worry about story options and not taking away from how certain people played the game if their were multiple endings so something like Assassins Creed I think should have just one true story because their stories cross so many other mediums like I said with Novels, graphic Novels, Manga and a movie, sometimes events have appeared in other games like watch dogs, and now their going to have a series where they have so many mediums to add to lore that I think for Assassin’s creed it’s just better to have one true ending so then it gives writers for the other mediums clear chains for events to work with so that it’s not just a messy world with unsure cannon.
Bro this is one of the best idea I have heard for a good sequel to arno especially and also shay of course. I think playing both sides at the same time is a really unique concept that could make for a great game.
It would be cool if they expanded on the idea from Syndicate where Jacob does an assassination and Evie has to clean up his mess. Except here you assassinate someone then switch sides to the templars and have to rectify it, killing an assassin until both sides are just left with Arno and Shay

I don't think he is. He killed Kesegowasse thanks to the puckle gun, he killed Hope by catching up with her, not in a direct fight. And Liam died when he hit his head in that sheet of ice. Chevalier was the only guy he killed in a duel but Arno also had a brutal duel with Bellec.
Great idea! I would definitely want to play a sequel to unity involving arno and shay. I also agree 100% that the new rpg assassins creed is just really different and felt like a totally different game.
Still younger than Shay, not that old. Probably closer looking to like his dad in the time jump when he grew up but for the revenge to where he’ll probably just get some grey hair. Don’t think Shay will be to well with his past injuries in his older ages where he’ll be much more of a tactical threat then a physical one. His son will probably be there more for the physical threat since he canonically trained his children to hunt assassins too.
Arno really becomes his own interesting character once Elise is dead, funnily enough. But we only got A GLIMPSE of it in Dead Kings. His jaded view on the creed, but while still being someone who believes in doing the right thing is a nice take for a protagonist. It'd even make him a nice parallel to Shay, who completely swore off the brotherhood's creed.
Don't forget Connor, Aveline, and Patience are also active during this time, bringing it up to four-player co op with all fully fleshed out characters instead of Arno clones. I've put down an outline for a true ending to the Kenway saga that brings everything together, but it needs reworked. I would call it Legacy because everyone is training someone new at this time. Aveline has Patience, Connor has Io:nhiòte, Arno has Leon, and Shay has an unnamed son. They're all preparing to leave their mark on the world, something to be remembered by. Someday I will return to this concept, so in glad to see there's still still interest

I think the game should be called something like AC Trinity especially since it could be the last game with these three Assassins we’ve played as in the passed since Arno, Connor and Aveline should all be alive and in the game if it was made hopefully. Then the final set piece could also be at Trinity church to give it even more meaning.
Hear me out-Arno,Connor and Shay in a game placed during the uprisings in the Balkans from 1804-1815. -On one side you have the Ottoman army and sultanate. -On the other side the people and the soldiers leading the uprising -The third side the Austrian empire -The fourth-the rogue Turks that rose to power and seized territories punishing everyone that does not obey. So we have 4 fighting sides,throw Templars and Assassin's there and you have a GOTY if done right.

I had something similar in mind, I think ever since since Syndicate got released. Bu instead of playing as Arno and Shay, you would play as Arno and Connor would be a big part of the game, maybe even a second playable character. The game could start in Homestead, where we would play as Connor for a bit, and there we could get a glimpse of his brotherhood, what he managed to create after events of ACIII, few years afterwards. And then some sort of messenger, possibly Aveline would appear bearing news about Shay, cause Connor got to know about him and what he did, after some digging of various Homestead documents, and so he had sent some fellow brotherhood members to find more about him, where he was and possibly what his intentions where, with him possibly knowing what Connor has done with templars in colonies. So Connor would get message that Shay has been spotted in France and so Connor would decide to go after him, leave Aveline to look after brotherhood while he's away. And from that point when Connor would set sails to Europe, game could to the Arno who would get notified that an assassin from other side of the world is coming with important news for french brotherhood and as well looking for collaboration on important maters. From that point game could go a few ways. Arno welcomes Connor into HQ of assassin's and there they discuss maters and then Arno learns what Connor knows and they decide to help each other. Or they could discuss maters elsewhere cause Connor is being cautious of a man who basically did the same thing to assassins as he did to templars. Anyway no mater the place, Connor at that point knows precise location where Shay is and they decide to take care of him but once they reach it turns out that Shay is way more prepared then they thought and so Connor and Arno are outnumbered and have to surrender for that moment. Shay then comes in front of them and talks some shit about Achilies to Connor and makes some remarks about Arno's father. Then Arno could possible say something like: You've been lucky, I did not know you earlier (They could play onto the fact that nobody acknowledged Shay in Unity, cause nobody had found out who was the actual killer of Victor Dorian), but soon your luck will run out old man ( Shay would be pretty old by that point, maybe that box had the same effect on him as Altair had from apple making him more powerfull, less prone to death). And Shay would replay with his go to oneliner: I make my own luck, Dorian. Then he would leave them to die and flee from Paris to another European city leaving both Connor and Arno to fight of his goons. Arno and Shay would have to reorganize and go search for Shay all across Europe ( The game could include various cities like Vienna, Saints Petersburg and other cities from Europe, maybe some areas with a bit of countryside, but not to big cause the main game, important stuff would take place in urban environment ) .

That's a sick idea.. Honestly this is a similar idea as mine where we play as Arno in Unity's sequel where Cornor and Aveline help Arno locate Shay time to time through out the game.. However, I dig the idea to play as both Arno and Shay where one is on a journey to kill his father's murderer and other is on his journey to build Templars back.. Amazing job, dude.. With a gameplay and story you explained this could be one perfect game not just in AC franchise but in gaming history
I’ve been pitching an Arno and Conor vs Shay story for years now. Could even include Aveline but not necessarily as she doesn’t have that level of personal connection. But imagine a co-op mode where you play as Arno and Connor or take turns in single player (similar to Syndicate) to hunt down Shay, and actually succeed. Then Shay’s son or daughter can hunt down the 2 master assassins repeating the cycle of revenge. Oh and where and when is this story set? The rise of Napoleon and the war in the early 1800s is the perfect choice. That or Ireland joining the United Kingdom seeing as Shay is Irish and I could easily imagine templars and assassins meddling in that, the story could even lay down some groundwork for Syndicate seeing as that’s only a few decades later
I really like your idea, I been watching alot of your videos lately and thought about another idea of a sequel for AC3. Having Conner trying to recruit and build a new order in his timeline and place. maybe start as conner in the opening, but then you become one of the recruits and can build something like a more stealthy character, or brute like Conner, or something like that at least leaving ur character to the imagination, and if they want to correctly incorporate multiplayer they could.

Its a fantastic idea because it would be the first assassins creed that would include the main events from the main canon story line and it would explore both sides of this iconic rivalry of assassins and templars and will respect the lore through this they could brought back true soul of assassins creed I would also call it a# ASSASSINS CREED V
Man you have read my mine regarding Arno quest to hunt his father killer ive had since the beginning. Ive always wanted this story arc to happen in a Unity DLC but what we got was ok. Its nice that Arno could after sometime finally piece together who the killer is maybe after founding out from his step father journals. At first Arno may been very negative towards him but finally forgives him due to his step father raising him. It could be nice to see Arno ventures to America to link up with Connor and be introduce the naval warfare mechanic from Connor that will be very useful later on. The entire game will be Arno & Connor hunting Shay where every time they where close Shay will be 1 step ahead as he was an assassin. After some McGuffin with an apple of Eden Shay finally shows up and we have an epic final ship vs ship battle where Shays ship runs aground and both Shay & Arno have a one on one conversation before the end.
This sounds like a really cool idea, and i would love see this in an AC game. However, it would be difficult to do this, and stick to the rules of the animus. Because you are going through memories of the ancestor, you can only have one real ending. It woulnd't make sense if there was one ending where shay died, and another one where arno died.
Well modern day would be tricky and I honestly don’t even think it’s necessary for this game it could just follow Arno and Shay, and I’d rather have no modern day then one that is shoe horned in. Also this would be possible just like with Valhalla and Odyssey, where one ending is canon and the other isn’t
Well it’s not too hard to make it make sense to experience both memories, they only use samples now like how Layla just had to find Aya’s corpse too so you could easily switch back and forth. Like they already did it with Jacob and Evie unless they committed incest to create Lydia Frye they would have had to get samples from both of their ancestors or their corpses and that case it shows that the animus can run two samples simultaneously to relive memories so this could easily work with a modern day with how the updated animus system’s function.
Oh also in Descendants they’re able to run two people in the animus at the same time so they could also have two people reliving the memories. It could also easily work with a Modern day because of the Dead Kings DLC it could involve the Apple Connor had Shay could be hunting for it thinking the Assassin’s will misuse more Eden creations or it could be like Shay found the tree Connor used in the vision the Apple showed Connor of him using that tree to gain power and that could also explain how Shay is such a big threat still even though he’s older than Achilles was at the end of 3 when this would have to take place that his body still functions really well because of that and has even more advantages and that could link to the modern day searching for Connor’s Apple or maybe searching for the tree to study it’s properties or maybe it relates to Basim’s search for his kids since that tree as that animalistic power qualities maybe it’s connected to Basim’s kids who’d be Fenrir and maybe a Bayek sequel after this idea to relate back to the World serpent who is also Loki’s kid in Norse mythology maybe Bayek finds something similar and he just thinks it relates to Egyptian mythology like when he battled that serpent in a dream sequence maybe it’s a hint to his future of finding another thing that Basim needs for his other kid as well.

But given the direction Ubisoft is going with multiple endings, i think they would make one ending where Arno dies, and one where Shay dies. And that would not make sende, since only one of them would have the memory of surviving.
@@jacobheidemannjohansen5236 I mean I think there’s a way of doing it where like one way can be confirmed canonical but I find that really annoying where I don’t like the multiple endings at all for Assassins Creed and I think it’s been affecting the strength of stories a lot like in Valhalla I got the good ending and it felt like it made little sense where I thought about the choices and if I got the bad ending where I felt if I changed my choices to a certain degree and got the bad ending it would feel like stronger story so I don’t think the choices they haven’t been able to handle strongly at all maybe if they’re had less time constrain potentially to really work things out but I just don’t think they work at all. I feel very strongly about the types of endings that would be a strong ending for this game that would connect well with their narratives where I don’t believe Arno or Shay die really. I think it’d be like a sparing thing like Rogue where Arno would spare him and be the bigger man noticing how he has a family and is older now and not want to take him or his son (since his son is probably fully grown at this point and canonically throughout his family passed on knowledge and training to hunt Assassin’s) away from their families then I think maybe Connor could cripple his son potentially since he’d be likely the most fit and capable of hunting Assassins at that point to try to make sure he won’t kill anymore Assassins to get pretty interesting mirror moment of Connor and Haythem. But however they end it I think it has to be one solid ending because this is the conclusion of potentially four protagonist we might never see again in the games if they’d include Aveline and Connor to some capacity, so it’d have to be strong. So I agree multiple endings I’d really dislike the idea with how it’s especially recently was handled and just overall weaker ending without as strong of a narrative foundation if there’s too much choice because I don’t think AC has handled how choices work in their games to a high enough degree to handle what’d be such a significant game to the franchise.

I love this idea I think I might make a plot or type out what would happen with the characters interacting with each other and Connor and Arno's interaction.
I actually had an idea for an Arno sequel that is more of a nostalgic storyline but one that I think would work out well. Arno should have a game in the style of AC: Revelations. The plot would be that Arno is sent to Egypt when the Order finds out Napoleon is making moves there. Arno's mission is to find remnants of the ancient Assassins aka The Hidden Ones, and bring the lost history back to Paris to be preserved. Through Arno's ability to see memories he expands his ability to allow him to see further in the past, allowing him to view the memories of Bayek. During this time, Arno could be dealing with Napoleon's adventure and the return of Shay, who's in Egypt looking for the same thing. This could give Arno a dilemma where he wants to avenge his father but also honor Elise's memory by trying to find a way to make peace with the Templars. Shay, in return, could perhaps reminisce on the younger days while also trying to convince Arno to defect, giving their working relationship tension but also growth. Perhaps the end of the game would see Arno and/or Shay coming across an ancient Isu site that Bayek found in the final days of his life, and Arno would hear Bayek give off some final words of wisdom to pass on to the future generations from Arno's time and beyond. Gameplay should be more towards Unity's style but more polished, and some of Bayek's elements could carry over but not enough to change everything. It's an idea that's been on my mind for a long time and I'm glad a video like this got uploaded to share it.
My idea is that you can play as two characters: an ancestor and his/her descendant. There are two open worlds, the modern setting (probably more futuristic than our current one) and the ancient world. The main story will alternate between the two worlds and two character arcs. Both worlds will also have side and possibly unique missions to tackle to reach a unique goal for the time period, but both goals will benefit the Assassins. Since both worlds are open, you can give players chances to explore this world by giving them the option to exit and enter the Animus, instead of only able to exit when only a certain main mission is reached.
The first Assassin's creed game I played was AC unity as it came free along with my xbox and I really loved it but then I saw the reviews online and I was confused why people didn't like it. The thing which I found the best was the optional objectives which provided as with a unique kill option and the various kinds of blades especially the berserker blade and the phantom blade
I've always felt like a great closing to arno's arc would be him leaving the brotherhood and forming another creed or order, one which is this sort of center point or grey area between the templars and assassin's.

So two sequels that I would love to see are Aya in Rome I think they set it up well plus showing her killing Cleopatra like in the Sactuary in AC2 plus bonus nostalgia from Brotherhood being back in Rome. Showing the building of the Creed. The other would be a followup to AC1 and play as Altair’s son during the Mongol invasion. During Altair self imposed exile. Call them Assassin’s Creed Roots for Rome and Legacy for Mongols.
HELL YEAH! Plus they should continue where they left off from unity such as the parkour and awesome interiors. Have arc ending missions with 500 assassination variations (kind of like hitman). Plus personal wish though is to only allow us to kill big profile enemies, not every soldier as at times I feel like a maniac (except as a viking though so good job ubisoft).Dont know any famous historical events though after french revolution though so ubisofts probably gonna let us play as alexios/kassandra in the modern day fighting with their spear while machine guns are pointed at them.
I’d like Bayek in Jamaica. Tropical trees, lagoons everywhere. Arnot was amazing tho, unity is my number 5 I loved unity, just my opinion. That’s a good idea tho. I love the idea play online as these main characters that’s cool. They should make it more social. Not live service just a little co op
I would love to see Arno during the Napoleonic wars and hunting the pieces of Eden while fighting Shay and Napoleon (Napoleon isn’t a Templar but could serve as an antagonist)

Shay was 45 when he killed Charles Dorian while Arno was 7. de la Serre died when Arno was 21 and Germain died when Arno was 26, Shay would've been 59 at the beginning of Arno joining the Brotherhood. If anything, Connor vs Shay makes more sense, because if Arno ever took the time to hunt down Shay at any point, he would've been retired and living a family life. At most, it's an in-game choice you can make to spare old man Shay or finally avenge your father 20-some years later.
The idea of Arno, looking for his father's murderer, fighting against the new Master of the european/french templar branch, Shay (without necessarly knowing that he is the murderer) is awesome. Shay, with his experience of former assassin could create a little elite corps of templars, trained as assassins, like him. They would be a pain in the *ss for the Brotherhood and Arno could find, little by little, his link with Shay. We could even have 2 new games for this story, we could take part of campaigns (Egypt, Italy or Russia) and napoleonic wars. He could help Napoleon without being totally with him (as Connor with Washington). Shay would have link with Prussia and other monarchies to defeat Napoleon and Arno and the Brotherhood would try to undermine their efforts (killing agents, sabotaging renforts or convoy etc.) The possibility of a cooperation with Connor, Aveline and the american branch is crazy too ! I'm not a big fan of choices with consequences in AC because this is just the past, we can't change it. But being able to play as Shay, to train templars and do stuff against the Brotherhood, see his motivations, not as a big bad villain but as this former assassin, that left the Brotherhood because of their lies and acts and who tries to truly make a better world (as in Rogue). There's so much potential ! Ubisoft needs to check your channel so much !

Actually, I have a trilogy idea that acts as a sequel for Shay, and origin for his daughter Oonagh; a misguide girl joining the Order to be with her dad and make him proud. But when she sees what the Templars are really like, she feels and is trapped; damned if she stays or goes... After a dramatic leaving, she ends up in the care of the Assassins who know she killed Templars and Assassins but offer her a chance of redemption.... Book 2 is her being an assassin like Ezio in Italy, helping a family of Assassins get rid of Templars, and stronger. Visit France to Help Arno.... Cormac family drama... Oonagh marries but her mean big brother Liam kills him... Father Daughter ship battle then he manages to kidnap her... father daughter talk goes badly... lets her go to "Fight and die by the blade" because he can fight her, hunt her... but can't bring himself to kill her. (Vary much Darth Vader and Luke energy!).... Family Drama at an abandoned fort and lighthouse... vary dramatic "I can't go back because too much damage has been done" type thing." She falls to icy water; he jumps in after her. Her friends find her tended to and get her back as he watches... he goes back letting everyone think she's dead. She goes home to Italy pregnant. Book 3 I'm having issues with, but your ideas are giving me ideas. 8 years later. Shay is helping his daughter in-law raise his grandson, because Liam is even more an absent father then he was. But he's also trying to undo the damage done by his daughter, and an assassin her same age messing around in France. So, he's a bit busy with keeping London, France, and seeing about getting Templers back in Italy. Oonagh has been doing small time stuff for the Brotherhood and keeping her head down because Lyra Breiann (She needed to be a mother) but she has unfinished business, but needs help, and suspects she has evidence to give an old friend. Arno. As much as I would love to include Connor, I'm leaving him out of this because I do have another Main Fanfic involving him, an OC with Eve's Blood, time travel, and a boss fight with Juno. That and, this is Rouge and Unity business/family business. Connor could use a break from that. So, Cormac and Dorian drama! and final showdown!
Tbh I would also like Connor to be in it, but as a older and wiser mentor. It would be great that Connor is the reason Arno figures out that shay killed him, and he slowly starts turning to the templars until Connor reawakens him by teling him how he almost fell too the templars and shows that the war is just gray, never pure black and white. And at the end when you kill shay he understands that the brotherhood is better than before and basically turns sides right after he dies. That would be cool.
Its certainly an interesting idea. It is rough to be sure. From what we know of the lore, Shay grew to a ripe old age. We don't know WHEN he died but we know for a fact that he lived to train his son AND grandson. If we have Arno, we could have a story similar to Ezio in the second game were the guy lets go of his revenge. Or take a more tragic turn: he doesn't kill Old Man Shay but he still feels anger and sorrow. However, during his travel to find Shay, he meets someone and hooks up. We know Arno has descended thanks to the movie, regardless of how bad it was. Heck, we could get Connor and Aveline in this. Or even their children.
I also hated the fact that we never got that convergence point for these 4 characters Aveline,Connor, Arno and Shay. call it Assassin's Creed: reunited, nexus,United,convergence. I'm going to go with convergence. I really like yours and lazerzz ideas for the sequel just put them together and you have a perfect game.
I always wanted a chance of picking templars or assassins if its an rpg style game. But I’d rather the more focused narrative like the older games. Sounds like a good idea, which means they will never do it
One thing many people don’t know and probably cause they never actually played Rogue they just know the most basic description which is Assassin goes Rogue and turns Templar. But Connor would never go after Shay. Not only because Connor wouldn’t even be an Assassin without Shay, but Shay had the respect and support of Connor’s tribe/people. The tribe mother of Connor’s tribe would tell Connor to stand down and he would. As for Arno he was a child when Shay killed his father. They should absolutely make a sequel with Shay and make a franchise branch off from AC but with The Templar order. Shay would be the EZIO of that new franchise.
I have a title idea for the game, we could call it Assassin’s Creed Duality Cause there’s two perspectives and a duality in the story as you mentioned, you play as an assassin and a templar (It’s a work in progress)
Im late to the party, but i think a game like this would blow up if the story isnt a single game But consist of 3 or more parts, i like games that are in depth, and with this many characters it would make sense. For a story and world building to happen.
I like the idea of there not being any more games set in the 18th century and of not answering every question in the series, leaving one with a sense of mystery and wonder instead.

So many people just wanna see Arno and Connor hunting Shay. Personally I think a sequel that would be best is the one that Ubisoft set up already at the end of Rogue: After you kill Liam and Achilles is wounded and crippled Haytham tells Shay it’s his job to find the precursor box again. Then we go 15years later to the day Shay recovers the box and kills Charles Dorian. Why not make a sequel that covers the 15 years in which Shay searched for the precursor box. That would make the most sense. Set it in the United States/colonies depending on time frame and Paris. Utilize Philadelphia that hasn’t been used yet and considering Ben Franklin is already part of the story Philadelphia makes sense.
Some people in the comments have made some really good points that Connor and Aveline could get involved in this story as well, helping Arno hunt down Shay and the Templars. Imagine 4 AC protagonists in one sequel😱

Maybe there’s a hunt for the location of the tree thing in Connor’s Dream sequence that gave him mystical powers maybe that’s where Loki’s son Fenrir was buried under and that why it really has that capabilities and they could connect it that way to the main story. They could also do the same with Bayek sequel and find out Basim also wants to bring back his child the world serpent like he has in Norse mythology and in a Bayek sequel ir finds what his dream sequence in the first game was actually leading to when he fought that snake it was actually a hint to his future with the World Serpent connecting the games even further.
Agree with the 3v1 situation, since Shay is extremely skilled and literally able to hunt down many assassins all by himself, just like how OP Ezio was during his 60s. also the game should have atleast 3 endings, kill shay/kill the assasins/convince shay to join back the assassins. (this would be hardest since you will need to find all possible clues and proof that the assassins wasnt wrong, just the colonial brotherhood happened to have a bad leader like in ac1.)

This is a great idea! Something like that all that happaned after waked up in revelations, was just a dream. Then the story would really be cool that something the end of the world stuff happening like in the ending of AC 3 but Desmond would agree with Minerva instead of Juno and Desmond wouldn't save the world in 2012. It could be connecting to the ending of Valhalla when (potentially) Desmond (The Reader) and Layla starts to look for a soulution for end the cycle. Because they started to look at the possibilites if Desmond wouldn't save the world in 2012. Then ahhh. I would be satisfied.

I do hope Desmond returns, I hope they make him a body to return, or even tricking Basim in the final of what they’re currently doing and having him make a return having his consciousness in Basim’s body instead that way and destroying that site to try to make sure there’s never his return. Then Desmond could still have his high concentration of first civ DNA most likely already higher than his own since other types of sages that get reborn have shown to have extremely high first civ DNA that someone that was full blood one originally would have even higher concentration then the other sage. Even though I would prefer if Desmond was created a new DNA from the Abstergo lab creating one for Juno also stealing back his samples to have his actual DNA apart of the creation of his revival so we can continue visiting actual ancestors of Desmond because that’s what I found as an extremely cool concept of it being their ancestors. Even though I think there’s still a place for reliving the memories based on remains. I also think it makes more since for Desmond to be the Heir to memories because he actually has an established lineage where Layla it could’ve been anyone since it’s not established to be her ancestors just DNA from corpses

I think Aveline should probably be in their as well if Arno travels to the U.S. since Aveline speaking French I think could help him best learn about the brotherhood there with her speaking in his first language where I think Arno should meet Aveline first in New Orleans, and she be the one to eventually introduce him to Connor at the Homestead and we get the AC title panning in the sky like we usually do after we finish the Intro and are in front of the Homestead.

All depends on the script of the game really. A game with old characters but shitty story would only kill the good memories.
I had a similar idea which was this: At the time of the American Civil War Connor and Arno could run into an old, hunted-down Shay. It would make a great story of reconciliation (even though we know that later Templars and Assassins will become enemies again).
But Connor had doubts about the conflict because of his father and worked with him at times. Arno was also marked by peace between Assassins and Templars through the efforts of Mirabeau and De la Serre to reach an alliance. And of course through his Élise too.
Shay, as a former assassin, will probably take the longest to be convinced, because of course he was deceived by the assassins in the past! But in the end he will want a reconciliation too!
This truce is unlikely to last long, but I imagine this story has huge potential. And besides, you could add some interesting twists and turns with the Civil War.

Maybe such sequel could take place during the Mexican War of Independence instead. But still Shay would be around 80 to 90 in this case which could be hard to realize in this story. And the Napoleonic Wars did not have that much of an impact on North America. And otherwise not much happened in the U.S. during that time. Maybe that's why we did not get a sequel.
But still I would love to see an Assassin's Creed taking place during the American Civil War.
I enjoyed Assassin’s Creed Rogue. It’s such a refreshing story, an Assassin turned Templar, and the game wasn’t overwhelming as other flagship AC games which gave me time to do side quests like conquering the forts, gang head quarters, and hunting those artefacts and treasures without being so exhausted. Plus, the naval warfare is more polished and easier to control than Jackdaw. Overall, I give AC Rogue 9/10.
You are entitled to your own opinion. For me, I didnt like rogue at all. The graphics was of ac3 and gameplay of ac4. It didn't feel new at all, not was the story anywhere close to ac2 or rdr2 level. Yes im comparing the story to rdr2 (only story!) and its funny because if rdr2's story were a 9, rogue's would be 5, or 4. lol.

I think Aveline introduces Arno to the states since she speaks French so she can speak to him in a language he’s more familiar with while teaching him about the brotherhood here, and I think they’d get along well. I also think the ending should mirror Rogue where Arno decides to spare Shay since we know from the books he had kids, and I don’t think Arno would want to just repeat the cycle and have the same thing that happen to that kid that happened to him losing a father and having to witness it. Then I think Connor mirrors his father Haythem in Rogue and cripples Shay to try to make sure he won’t kill an Assassin again.

@@hushed279 I prefer just like one true endings for Assassin’s Creed because I also read the books and graphic novels where it leave more room for one good storyline because or else it limits what they can write for after the story takes place and if their was multiple endings and they did write after for its characters it either has to be vague or skip over the ending or it has to make some choices not cannon which is like what’s the point of having multiple endings in that case especially if they ever want to do more stories like the Descendants storyline where you can see characters show up again or their descendants it’s just nice to have it where the writers can just write the story they want that can reference the games without having to worry about story options and not taking away from how certain people played the game if their were multiple endings so something like Assassins Creed I think should have just one true story because their stories cross so many other mediums like I said with Novels, graphic Novels, Manga and a movie, sometimes events have appeared in other games like watch dogs, and now their going to have a series where they have so many mediums to add to lore that I think for Assassin’s creed it’s just better to have one true ending so then it gives writers for the other mediums clear chains for events to work with so that it’s not just a messy world with unsure cannon.

I don't think he is. He killed Kesegowasse thanks to the puckle gun, he killed Hope by catching up with her, not in a direct fight. And Liam died when he hit his head in that sheet of ice. Chevalier was the only guy he killed in a duel but Arno also had a brutal duel with Bellec.

Still younger than Shay, not that old. Probably closer looking to like his dad in the time jump when he grew up but for the revenge to where he’ll probably just get some grey hair. Don’t think Shay will be to well with his past injuries in his older ages where he’ll be much more of a tactical threat then a physical one. His son will probably be there more for the physical threat since he canonically trained his children to hunt assassins too.

Arno really becomes his own interesting character once Elise is dead, funnily enough. But we only got A GLIMPSE of it in Dead Kings. His jaded view on the creed, but while still being someone who believes in doing the right thing is a nice take for a protagonist. It'd even make him a nice parallel to Shay, who completely swore off the brotherhood's creed.

Don't forget Connor, Aveline, and Patience are also active during this time, bringing it up to four-player co op with all fully fleshed out characters instead of Arno clones. I've put down an outline for a true ending to the Kenway saga that brings everything together, but it needs reworked. I would call it Legacy because everyone is training someone new at this time. Aveline has Patience, Connor has Io:nhiòte, Arno has Leon, and Shay has an unnamed son. They're all preparing to leave their mark on the world, something to be remembered by. Someday I will return to this concept, so in glad to see there's still still interest

I think the game should be called something like AC Trinity especially since it could be the last game with these three Assassins we’ve played as in the passed since Arno, Connor and Aveline should all be alive and in the game if it was made hopefully. Then the final set piece could also be at Trinity church to give it even more meaning.

Hear me out-Arno,Connor and Shay in a game placed during the uprisings in the Balkans from 1804-1815.
-On one side you have the Ottoman army and sultanate.
-On the other side the people and the soldiers leading the uprising
-The third side the Austrian empire
-The fourth-the rogue Turks that rose to power and seized territories punishing everyone that does not obey.
So we have 4 fighting sides,throw Templars and Assassin's there and you have a GOTY if done right.

I had something similar in mind, I think ever since since Syndicate got released. Bu instead of playing as Arno and Shay, you would play as Arno and Connor would be a big part of the game, maybe even a second playable character. The game could start in Homestead, where we would play as Connor for a bit, and there we could get a glimpse of his brotherhood, what he managed to create after events of ACIII, few years afterwards. And then some sort of messenger, possibly Aveline would appear bearing news about Shay, cause Connor got to know about him and what he did, after some digging of various Homestead documents, and so he had sent some fellow brotherhood members to find more about him, where he was and possibly what his intentions where, with him possibly knowing what Connor has done with templars in colonies. So Connor would get message that Shay has been spotted in France and so Connor would decide to go after him, leave Aveline to look after brotherhood while he's away. And from that point when Connor would set sails to Europe, game could to the Arno who would get notified that an assassin from other side of the world is coming with important news for french brotherhood and as well looking for collaboration on important maters. From that point game could go a few ways. Arno welcomes Connor into HQ of assassin's and there they discuss maters and then Arno learns what Connor knows and they decide to help each other. Or they could discuss maters elsewhere cause Connor is being cautious of a man who basically did the same thing to assassins as he did to templars. Anyway no mater the place, Connor at that point knows precise location where Shay is and they decide to take care of him but once they reach it turns out that Shay is way more prepared then they thought and so Connor and Arno are outnumbered and have to surrender for that moment. Shay then comes in front of them and talks some shit about Achilies to Connor and makes some remarks about Arno's father. Then Arno could possible say something like: You've been lucky, I did not know you earlier (They could play onto the fact that nobody acknowledged Shay in Unity, cause nobody had found out who was the actual killer of Victor Dorian), but soon your luck will run out old man ( Shay would be pretty old by that point, maybe that box had the same effect on him as Altair had from apple making him more powerfull, less prone to death). And Shay would replay with his go to oneliner: I make my own luck, Dorian. Then he would leave them to die and flee from Paris to another European city leaving both Connor and Arno to fight of his goons. Arno and Shay would have to reorganize and go search for Shay all across Europe ( The game could include various cities like Vienna, Saints Petersburg and other cities from Europe, maybe some areas with a bit of countryside, but not to big cause the main game, important stuff would take place in urban environment ) .

That's a sick idea.. Honestly this is a similar idea as mine where we play as Arno in Unity's sequel where Cornor and Aveline help Arno locate Shay time to time through out the game.. However, I dig the idea to play as both Arno and Shay where one is on a journey to kill his father's murderer and other is on his journey to build Templars back.. Amazing job, dude.. With a gameplay and story you explained this could be one perfect game not just in AC franchise but in gaming history

I love the idea. And I would love to see Connor again, as a big mentor for Assassins, helping Arno against Shay.
I’ve been pitching an Arno and Conor vs Shay story for years now. Could even include Aveline but not necessarily as she doesn’t have that level of personal connection. But imagine a co-op mode where you play as Arno and Connor or take turns in single player (similar to Syndicate) to hunt down Shay, and actually succeed. Then Shay’s son or daughter can hunt down the 2 master assassins repeating the cycle of revenge.
Oh and where and when is this story set? The rise of Napoleon and the war in the early 1800s is the perfect choice. That or Ireland joining the United Kingdom seeing as Shay is Irish and I could easily imagine templars and assassins meddling in that, the story could even lay down some groundwork for Syndicate seeing as that’s only a few decades later

I really like your idea, I been watching alot of your videos lately and thought about another idea of a sequel for AC3. Having Conner trying to recruit and build a new order in his timeline and place. maybe start as conner in the opening, but then you become one of the recruits and can build something like a more stealthy character, or brute like Conner, or something like that at least leaving ur character to the imagination, and if they want to correctly incorporate multiplayer they could.

My man, I played The Wolf among us a few days back, and plagues tale innocence, and firewatch (today). All these are good, really good games with excellent story. You really should do some videos on these games for us ac fans. Im sure all of us here are suckers for good, engaging stories.

But it would be cool if on the end of game there will be boss fight where you could choose to fight as Arno or Shey and depends on who you choose you would get diffrent ending, and if you would choose shay you would fight like in kenwey trilogy and if you would choose arno you would be fighting arno style. Olso when you would have 2 endings. Arno death by shay, shay death by arno.

Its a fantastic idea because it would be the first assassins creed that would include the main events from the main canon story line and it would explore both sides of this iconic rivalry of assassins and templars and will respect the lore through this they could brought back true soul of assassins creed I would also call it a# ASSASSINS CREED V

Man you have read my mine regarding Arno quest to hunt his father killer ive had since the beginning. Ive always wanted this story arc to happen in a Unity DLC but what we got was ok. Its nice that Arno could after sometime finally piece together who the killer is maybe after founding out from his step father journals. At first Arno may been very negative towards him but finally forgives him due to his step father raising him. It could be nice to see Arno ventures to America to link up with Connor and be introduce the naval warfare mechanic from Connor that will be very useful later on. The entire game will be Arno & Connor hunting Shay where every time they where close Shay will be 1 step ahead as he was an assassin. After some McGuffin with an apple of Eden Shay finally shows up and we have an epic final ship vs ship battle where Shays ship runs aground and both Shay & Arno have a one on one conversation before the end.
This sounds like a really cool idea, and i would love see this in an AC game. However, it would be difficult to do this, and stick to the rules of the animus. Because you are going through memories of the ancestor, you can only have one real ending. It woulnd't make sense if there was one ending where shay died, and another one where arno died.
Well modern day would be tricky and I honestly don’t even think it’s necessary for this game it could just follow Arno and Shay, and I’d rather have no modern day then one that is shoe horned in. Also this would be possible just like with Valhalla and Odyssey, where one ending is canon and the other isn’t
Well it’s not too hard to make it make sense to experience both memories, they only use samples now like how Layla just had to find Aya’s corpse too so you could easily switch back and forth. Like they already did it with Jacob and Evie unless they committed incest to create Lydia Frye they would have had to get samples from both of their ancestors or their corpses and that case it shows that the animus can run two samples simultaneously to relive memories so this could easily work with a modern day with how the updated animus system’s function.
Oh also in Descendants they’re able to run two people in the animus at the same time so they could also have two people reliving the memories. It could also easily work with a Modern day because of the Dead Kings DLC it could involve the Apple Connor had Shay could be hunting for it thinking the Assassin’s will misuse more Eden creations or it could be like Shay found the tree Connor used in the vision the Apple showed Connor of him using that tree to gain power and that could also explain how Shay is such a big threat still even though he’s older than Achilles was at the end of 3 when this would have to take place that his body still functions really well because of that and has even more advantages and that could link to the modern day searching for Connor’s Apple or maybe searching for the tree to study it’s properties or maybe it relates to Basim’s search for his kids since that tree as that animalistic power qualities maybe it’s connected to Basim’s kids who’d be Fenrir and maybe a Bayek sequel after this idea to relate back to the World serpent who is also Loki’s kid in Norse mythology maybe Bayek finds something similar and he just thinks it relates to Egyptian mythology like when he battled that serpent in a dream sequence maybe it’s a hint to his future of finding another thing that Basim needs for his other kid as well.

But given the direction Ubisoft is going with multiple endings, i think they would make one ending where Arno dies, and one where Shay dies. And that would not make sende, since only one of them would have the memory of surviving.
@@jacobheidemannjohansen5236 I mean I think there’s a way of doing it where like one way can be confirmed canonical but I find that really annoying where I don’t like the multiple endings at all for Assassins Creed and I think it’s been affecting the strength of stories a lot like in Valhalla I got the good ending and it felt like it made little sense where I thought about the choices and if I got the bad ending where I felt if I changed my choices to a certain degree and got the bad ending it would feel like stronger story so I don’t think the choices they haven’t been able to handle strongly at all maybe if they’re had less time constrain potentially to really work things out but I just don’t think they work at all. I feel very strongly about the types of endings that would be a strong ending for this game that would connect well with their narratives where I don’t believe Arno or Shay die really. I think it’d be like a sparing thing like Rogue where Arno would spare him and be the bigger man noticing how he has a family and is older now and not want to take him or his son (since his son is probably fully grown at this point and canonically throughout his family passed on knowledge and training to hunt Assassin’s) away from their families then I think maybe Connor could cripple his son potentially since he’d be likely the most fit and capable of hunting Assassins at that point to try to make sure he won’t kill anymore Assassins to get pretty interesting mirror moment of Connor and Haythem. But however they end it I think it has to be one solid ending because this is the conclusion of potentially four protagonist we might never see again in the games if they’d include Aveline and Connor to some capacity, so it’d have to be strong. So I agree multiple endings I’d really dislike the idea with how it’s especially recently was handled and just overall weaker ending without as strong of a narrative foundation if there’s too much choice because I don’t think AC has handled how choices work in their games to a high enough degree to handle what’d be such a significant game to the franchise.

A good name might be AC: Rivalry (sounds stupid lol but kinda Parralells brotherhood, but since shay and Arno are rivals in a sense)
I love this idea I think I might make a plot or type out what would happen with the characters interacting with each other and Connor and Arno's interaction.
I actually had an idea for an Arno sequel that is more of a nostalgic storyline but one that I think would work out well. Arno should have a game in the style of AC: Revelations. The plot would be that Arno is sent to Egypt when the Order finds out Napoleon is making moves there. Arno's mission is to find remnants of the ancient Assassins aka The Hidden Ones, and bring the lost history back to Paris to be preserved. Through Arno's ability to see memories he expands his ability to allow him to see further in the past, allowing him to view the memories of Bayek. During this time, Arno could be dealing with Napoleon's adventure and the return of Shay, who's in Egypt looking for the same thing. This could give Arno a dilemma where he wants to avenge his father but also honor Elise's memory by trying to find a way to make peace with the Templars. Shay, in return, could perhaps reminisce on the younger days while also trying to convince Arno to defect, giving their working relationship tension but also growth. Perhaps the end of the game would see Arno and/or Shay coming across an ancient Isu site that Bayek found in the final days of his life, and Arno would hear Bayek give off some final words of wisdom to pass on to the future generations from Arno's time and beyond. Gameplay should be more towards Unity's style but more polished, and some of Bayek's elements could carry over but not enough to change everything. It's an idea that's been on my mind for a long time and I'm glad a video like this got uploaded to share it.
Your idea is amazing. Sadly, Ubisoft may not have the same plans. Hopefully a fan can develop the game and make it better than Ubisoft's.

My idea is that you can play as two characters: an ancestor and his/her descendant. There are two open worlds, the modern setting (probably more futuristic than our current one) and the ancient world. The main story will alternate between the two worlds and two character arcs. Both worlds will also have side and possibly unique missions to tackle to reach a unique goal for the time period, but both goals will benefit the Assassins. Since both worlds are open, you can give players chances to explore this world by giving them the option to exit and enter the Animus, instead of only able to exit when only a certain main mission is reached.

The first Assassin's creed game I played was AC unity as it came free along with my xbox and I really loved it but then I saw the reviews online and I was confused why people didn't like it.
The thing which I found the best was the optional objectives which provided as with a unique kill option and the various kinds of blades especially the berserker blade and the phantom blade
I've always felt like a great closing to arno's arc would be him leaving the brotherhood and forming another creed or order, one which is this sort of center point or grey area between the templars and assassin's.

So two sequels that I would love to see are Aya in Rome I think they set it up well plus showing her killing Cleopatra like in the Sactuary in AC2 plus bonus nostalgia from Brotherhood being back in Rome. Showing the building of the Creed. The other would be a followup to AC1 and play as Altair’s son during the Mongol invasion. During Altair self imposed exile. Call them Assassin’s Creed Roots for Rome and Legacy for Mongols.
HELL YEAH! Plus they should continue where they left off from unity such as the parkour and awesome interiors. Have arc ending missions with 500 assassination variations (kind of like hitman). Plus personal wish though is to only allow us to kill big profile enemies, not every soldier as at times I feel like a maniac (except as a viking though so good job ubisoft).Dont know any famous historical events though after french revolution though so ubisofts probably gonna let us play as alexios/kassandra in the modern day fighting with their spear while machine guns are pointed at them.

Shay was 45 when he killed Charles Dorian while Arno was 7. de la Serre died when Arno was 21 and Germain died when Arno was 26, Shay would've been 59 at the beginning of Arno joining the Brotherhood. If anything, Connor vs Shay makes more sense, because if Arno ever took the time to hunt down Shay at any point, he would've been retired and living a family life. At most, it's an in-game choice you can make to spare old man Shay or finally avenge your father 20-some years later.
The idea of Arno, looking for his father's murderer, fighting against the new Master of the european/french templar branch, Shay (without necessarly knowing that he is the murderer) is awesome. Shay, with his experience of former assassin could create a little elite corps of templars, trained as assassins, like him. They would be a pain in the *ss for the Brotherhood and Arno could find, little by little, his link with Shay. We could even have 2 new games for this story, we could take part of campaigns (Egypt, Italy or Russia) and napoleonic wars. He could help Napoleon without being totally with him (as Connor with Washington). Shay would have link with Prussia and other monarchies to defeat Napoleon and Arno and the Brotherhood would try to undermine their efforts (killing agents, sabotaging renforts or convoy etc.)
The possibility of a cooperation with Connor, Aveline and the american branch is crazy too !
I'm not a big fan of choices with consequences in AC because this is just the past, we can't change it. But being able to play as Shay, to train templars and do stuff against the Brotherhood, see his motivations, not as a big bad villain but as this former assassin, that left the Brotherhood because of their lies and acts and who tries to truly make a better world (as in Rogue).
There's so much potential ! Ubisoft needs to check your channel so much !

Actually, I have a trilogy idea that acts as a sequel for Shay, and origin for his daughter Oonagh; a misguide girl joining the Order to be with her dad and make him proud. But when she sees what the Templars are really like, she feels and is trapped; damned if she stays or goes... After a dramatic leaving, she ends up in the care of the Assassins who know she killed Templars and Assassins but offer her a chance of redemption....
Book 2 is her being an assassin like Ezio in Italy, helping a family of Assassins get rid of Templars, and stronger. Visit France to Help Arno.... Cormac family drama... Oonagh marries but her mean big brother Liam kills him... Father Daughter ship battle then he manages to kidnap her... father daughter talk goes badly... lets her go to "Fight and die by the blade" because he can fight her, hunt her... but can't bring himself to kill her. (Vary much Darth Vader and Luke energy!).... Family Drama at an abandoned fort and lighthouse... vary dramatic "I can't go back because too much damage has been done" type thing." She falls to icy water; he jumps in after her. Her friends find her tended to and get her back as he watches... he goes back letting everyone think she's dead. She goes home to Italy pregnant.
Book 3 I'm having issues with, but your ideas are giving me ideas.
8 years later. Shay is helping his daughter in-law raise his grandson, because Liam is even more an absent father then he was. But he's also trying to undo the damage done by his daughter, and an assassin her same age messing around in France. So, he's a bit busy with keeping London, France, and seeing about getting Templers back in Italy.
Oonagh has been doing small time stuff for the Brotherhood and keeping her head down because Lyra Breiann (She needed to be a mother) but she has unfinished business, but needs help, and suspects she has evidence to give an old friend. Arno.
As much as I would love to include Connor, I'm leaving him out of this because I do have another Main Fanfic involving him, an OC with Eve's Blood, time travel, and a boss fight with Juno. That and, this is Rouge and Unity business/family business. Connor could use a break from that.
So, Cormac and Dorian drama! and final showdown!

Tbh I would also like Connor to be in it, but as a older and wiser mentor. It would be great that Connor is the reason Arno figures out that shay killed him, and he slowly starts turning to the templars until Connor reawakens him by teling him how he almost fell too the templars and shows that the war is just gray, never pure black and white. And at the end when you kill shay he understands that the brotherhood is better than before and basically turns sides right after he dies. That would be cool.
I actually saw this video and wrote a sequel to unity. It was only around 25 pages but I love it.
I hope Ubisoft sees this, such an amazing idea and I would definitely play a game like this

Its certainly an interesting idea. It is rough to be sure.
From what we know of the lore, Shay grew to a ripe old age. We don't know WHEN he died but we know for a fact that he lived to train his son AND grandson.
If we have Arno, we could have a story similar to Ezio in the second game were the guy lets go of his revenge. Or take a more tragic turn: he doesn't kill Old Man Shay but he still feels anger and sorrow. However, during his travel to find Shay, he meets someone and hooks up. We know Arno has descended thanks to the movie, regardless of how bad it was.
Heck, we could get Connor and Aveline in this. Or even their children.

IMO Unity map is richer than recent ones which are beautiful but feel small due to most structures being simple and low-rise.
One thing many people don’t know and probably cause they never actually played Rogue they just know the most basic description which is Assassin goes Rogue and turns Templar.
But Connor would never go after Shay. Not only because Connor wouldn’t even be an Assassin without Shay, but Shay had the respect and support of Connor’s tribe/people. The tribe mother of Connor’s tribe would tell Connor to stand down and he would. As for Arno he was a child when Shay killed his father. They should absolutely make a sequel with Shay and make a franchise branch off from AC but with The Templar order. Shay would be the EZIO of that new franchise.

Im late to the party, but i think a game like this would blow up if the story isnt a single game
But consist of 3 or more parts, i like games that are in depth, and with this many characters it would make sense. For a story and world building to happen.
I like the idea of there not being any more games set in the 18th century and of not answering every question in the series, leaving one with a sense of mystery and wonder instead.

Also the option as altering as the story progresses is a good idea but the optional choosing a side would be cool aswell.
I feel like this would also lend well to a Conner sequel since he’d want to tie up all the lose ends Haythem left behind, chief among them, Shay.

Personally I think a sequel that would be best is the one that Ubisoft set up already at the end of Rogue:
After you kill Liam and Achilles is wounded and crippled Haytham tells Shay it’s his job to find the precursor box again. Then we go 15years later to the day Shay recovers the box and kills Charles Dorian. Why not make a sequel that covers the 15 years in which Shay searched for the precursor box. That would make the most sense. Set it in the United States/colonies depending on time frame and Paris. Utilize Philadelphia that hasn’t been used yet and considering Ben Franklin is already part of the story Philadelphia makes sense.
