  • So if you’ve seen a lot of my videos you would know I like to come up with a lot of ideas for what potential Assassin's Creed games could be made and you’ll also know that Ubisoft will never do any of them but it’s still fun to get a little creative and imagine what could be. An Idea I’ve had for a while now and I even made a video kind of coming up with the idea would be an Assassin's Creed game featuring four of the series protagonists being Shay Cormac, Arno Dorian, Connor Kenway, and Aveliene de Grandpre. From what we know they are all alive still at the same point in time so it just makes perfect sense. And of course Shay wants to rebuild the Templars and seemingly wants to takedown Connor’s assassins based on what he said when he killed Charles Dorian, and Arno of course has a score to settle with Shay seeing as he killed his father and Arno once again becomes an assassin after Dead Kings. If you guys enjoyed this idea and would actually play a game like this let me known in the comments, and leave a like on the video! If you're new here I make a lot of Assassin's Creed related content, so i'd really appreciate it if you considered subscribing to the channel for more in the future. Other than that thanks for watching and have a great day assassins!!

It’s such a dream that it will never happen.

I absolutely love this. Some personal tweaks I would make:
    - Make Shay as empathetic as possible
    - Arno actually saves Connor (someone in the comments said this but it would be a good retribution for him as he truly saved an Ally)
    - Following that, maybe Connor is left in a crippled state to where he cannot fight again
    - You get to target and assassinate Shay’s chain of command
    - This isn’t really a change but Ubisoft needs to give Arno the trilogy he deserved
    Excellent video my friend!

I get what you were going for in the story arch by killing off Connor in order to echo Arno's theme of loss. Because of the canon's inconsistency of Connor not supposed to be dead yet, your could rewrite to include Arno saving Connor and making Connor the first ally he was able to actually save. It would pose a kind of symbolic retribution for Arno.

There could even be some sequences you play as aveline, connor and even shay. To keep true to the series shay will have to still survive since he lived an exceptionally long time even being active in 1857.
Each character should have their own DLC stories too. Shay should also be less evil than depicted in the video. When he realizes that arno was the son of the man he killed have him show compassion and apologize and reason with Arno about why it would serve the greater good. Instead of trying to have arno killed after the interrogation, have shay attempt to convince Arno to fight for the templars and keep him imprisoned but treated well, until Arno is able to escape.
During the fight between Shay and Connor, Connor should survive since he lives on and has a wife and kid well into the 1800s. Perhaps Shay orders his men to tend to Connor's wound and imprison him for later interrogation. One templar becomes disobedient and strongly suggests shay to finish connor off but is denied only for the templar to take it upon himself to shoot connor dead, pointing a pistol at connor, he prepares himself for death thinking about his mentor and father before Shay neutralizes the templar. Connor reacts surprised and relieved that a templar grandmaster shows mercy instead of the brutality he is used to. Connor then remembers the positive aspect Achilles told him about Shay, that despite his allegiance he did it for a noble cause and was the reason to still be alive, how he even corrected a huge mistake the colonial branch of the assassins were about to make, despite completely betraying them for it. It is then that connor realizes that shay isn't the monster that everyone assumed he was, however, still a huge threat to the order. With no way to get out of the situation he is taken and hopes that Arno and Aveline can stop him and perhaps even reason with shay as he himself attempted to with his father back in 1783.

I feel the same, I think that Shay would actually be satisfied with how Achilles changed for the better, so the remarks to him feel a bit off. I also like the idea of Shay and Arno somehow coming to a agreement, since they've had very different motivations. Shay at the core spent his whole life searching for the apple of eden, in order to help the people, to do good to "undo" the destruction he has caused in the name of the assassins. Arnos life on the other hand was scarred by trauma and his only fuel up to then was anger, he had only experienced the harm these relics could cause and never had the opportunity a real character development imo. A ending, where Arno realizes his opponents beliefs are as strong as his desire for vengeance and the only way to beat him is by bending these beliefs, which basically means talking to him in a honest argument, would be quite interesting and dare I say fitting. I could see old Shay telling Arno about all his journeys and experiences around the world, trying to persuade him, that he is just trying to safe the world and Arno then starting to realize that there is more to the whole picture than he dared to see before. Idk, I just feel like it's unfitting for Shay to die in a desperate way, personally I think he deserves to life his last days free from politics and all that stuff, kind of the way Achilles redeemed himself. But that may just be because I really like his character, it's also possible that this version of Shay had become corrupted by power and the desire to control, but I think that would still be quite out of character.

Excellent story, brings back the old feeling of Assassin's Creed, with engaging characters, meaningful interactions and a sense of an "overarching" narrative. Just a question, as Connor had a daughter and wife by 1796, do you think that they could make an appearance at the story?

@@PappiiSensei101 I think that would actually be pretty cool if that actually happened, it’s just the only thing about that is that more than likely, that would almost be impossible for that to happen, since by in between April 1796 and February 1797, at the extreme most, Connor’s daughter would’ve been most likely born sometime around 1786 (which even with that that is still very highly unlikely) or she would be 10 years old by 1796. That would be like the very earliest year that she could’ve possibly been born especially because she also had an older sister and an older brother and knowing that Connor could’ve gotten married as early as 1784, Connor’s daughter would have to be at the very most 10 years old by 1796. Even if Connor’s oldest child was his oldest daughter, she would be at the very most, 12-13 years old during the events of ac vengeance.

Love the story. Gives a lot of room for traditional AC missions like tailing, assassination contracts, rebuilding etc. Classic AC stuff. A few edits I'd like to recommend though. The last part, especially the fight between Shay and Arno is too similar to Altaïr vs Al Mualim in AC 1. Could make it a little different, like use some other abilities of tha Apple like trying to mind control him instead of just freezing him. Al Mualim couldn't control Altaïr for specific reasons, but Arno ain't Altaïr, so Shay can try simething different rather than copy paste the last AC 1 fight. Also, the ending you gave for Connor is beautiful but it does conflict with the canon. But, a little reading into American and French history could solve the problem (I'm an Indian and i know nothing about these histories, but something can be dine, for sure). Also, I thought the impact of Connor's death on Arno can be amplified with him arriving at the Homestead the exact moment Shay drives him through. He tries to jump out, but Aveline points out the Templar Army and pulls him back. Except these few personal edits of mine, ots a great story. Great going Master Assassin. Heard the story the first time you said in that previous video and I thought it was interesting. But a complete story like this one is just mind blowing. Well done

I love the idea! That said, I think Connor would be the superior protagonist. Connor's no nonsense and relatively open-minded character produces a better clash of minds. Connor worked alongside Haytham and tried to understand his Templar philosophy and Shay understands both philosophies having been a member of both. Connor and Shay both have their individual experiences with both of them nearly single-handedly killing off the Assassins and the Templars which could lead to both coming to an understanding that revenge only leads to unnecessary bloodshed. I think that Connor's plot could actually be very similar to Arno's story of attempted unity where Connor and Shay try to (foolishly) seek peace between the two but Arno's need to avenge his father would ultimately break that dream again. I think this makes Arno's story interesting because he failed in trying to get peace between the Parisian Assassins and Templars and would later become the wedge that breaks any chance of peace between the colonial Assassins and Templars.

This would undoubtedly be epic and awesome. 3 main AC protagonists would feel like an Avengers Movie.
I'd personally prefer it if Shay didn't feel like a bad guy. Give him Haytham's drive and personality in a manner where once again one can relate to the templar order and their motivations. Makes it all the more interesting
As for the bitter sweet endings. Connor Dying would totally be heartbreaking for Arno making him hate Shay all the more. And as much as I dread it, Shay also dying by Arno's Hand would be sweet.
For the ending though, I think Shay should have a letter delivered to Arno and the creed (saying it was to be sent in case he died which he does) where he addresses the Assassins' Flaws once again, why he went rouge and his hope of the new Assassins being better than the last. This is just so the story can end with Shay's Narration of why He followed his own Creed to the Bitter End. His narrations at the beginning and end of Rogue always give me goosebumps. Having him have the last word in a game where he dies would totally add to Shay's character in a manner that reminds players that he wasn't necessarily the bad guy. He just had a different view of this war. To me this would be a Glorious End

The AI copies your moves from the last round as you fight against your own moves, making for a more unpredictable battle, switching between the two you’d be countering and blocking as you have to fight each other, ending with a parkour sequence as you have to outrun the collapse of a temple, still switching as you parkour your way out of the cataclysm eventually ending with the death of one of the two.

Shay would need to have a child though. I think that one thing that the more modern version of the Animus requires is the blood of a living relative in order to see the memory of their ancestors (so if he had no kids we would not have been able to see the memory of him). Maybe at the end after Arno kills Shay and the credits play, there can be a post credits scene… I can think of both a Ceremonious as well as an Unceremonious ending.
For the unceremonious version, a male Templar initiate (late 30s to early 40s) enters the room as a breeze blows the window. He approaches the body of Shay, still wearing its robes before picking Shay up and carrying him down the hallways of the fort. He carries shay’s body outside and lays him onto the grass, revealing that his body is mostly decomposed and all that remains is his brittle skeleton and leather outfit. She looks at his hand before plucking the Templar ring off of it (pulling part of the bones of his finger with it). He picks the finger bones out of his ring before standing up and remarking “Well old man. I guess you didn’t have enough luck in the end.” with a vindictive tone. He looks at the ring for a while before a British soldier cuts in saying “Sir, we just received orders from General Ross. He wants us to March on Washington at once.” The Templar initiate looks at the soldier and replies “What shall we do once we reach Washington?” the soldier replies “The general orders us to burn it to the ground.” The Templar smiles and replies “We shall finally end this American insurrection once and for all.” before looking down at Shay’s dead body and saying “Don’t worry father. I shall follow in your footsteps.” before putting the ring into his pocket, mounting up onto his horse and riding away. As everyone rides away, the camera zooms into Shay’s bones laying on the ground in the middle of the muddy field.
For the ceremonious ending… A male (either late 20s or early 30s) walks through the fort. He enters the room containing Shay’s body (this is shortly after the events of the game so it isn’t decomposed). He picks up the body and carries him through the hallways of the fort (similar to how Shay carried Col Monroe) before walking through a doorway where there are a bunch of constables outside loading the dead bodies of fallen Templars onto wagons. He lays Shay’s body onto the back of a wagon and the player can see a U.S. Federal Marshal badge on his chest. He gently removes Shay’s glove revealing the Templar ring on his finger. He removes the ring before claiming “Rest easy father. I will find who did this to you.” he puts the ring into his pocket before covering Shay’s body with a blanket. He then calls out and all the constables mount up onto their horses and wagons. Once they are mounted up, the man announces “We have a pack of murders to hunt down.” before muttering to himself “May the father of understanding guide us.” The all ride off as the moon sets on the horizon.

At the Homestead act, have Aveline and Connor there, have the ambush happen but, instead of fighting shay you fight waves and waves of templars until Aveline takes her last hit point or a timer is reached. cutscene plays where she get's overpowered and cut down, and in that instant Connor looks in disbelief and anger as he hesitates shay shoots him in the chest, the templars over power him as he starts to fight through the pain, ending up exhausted and on his knees shay gets off his horse and scans Connors mind. learning about everything he done and where the apple is. he and the templar's leave after setting the home stead on fire. Arno returning after learning the plan and fighting his way out of Boston finds the homestead in ash's and Connor lying still. approaching he sees that Connor is still breathing, urgently rushing him to a doctor Arno is enraged at his failing again, loosing more life's, Connor wakes up during the trip and begins to tell Arno what he knows about shay and what the true power of the apple is. telling Arno where he hid it. after leaving Connor in a doctors care he rushing towards the docs. commandeering a small boat and sailing into the direction of the apple. Arno finally see's 2 templar ships into the distance, sneaking aboard he realizes that have just retrieved the apple. seeing shay he begins to fight through the templars in brutal anger, working his way up to shay where Arno has a 1 on 1 fight against him, during the fight shay realized how to utilize the apples power and knocks Arno on his back, Arno's pocket watch falling out at this point, shay begins to explain to Arno why he was France to begin with, why he killed Arno's father and why he killed the creed there. He wants to end the revaluation there and build his new better world, with the homestead and master Connors death my men there have already begin making there peace. Arno begins to rush towards shay again when a cannon ball tears through the ship, the 2nd templar ship is still there, shay swinging to safety the 2nd ship begins to destroy the 1st, Arno choosing between chasing shay or finding his father's watch. memories of his loved ones flash through his head when he chooses the watch and jumps into the ocean. screen fades to blank as shay's ship sails off.
hours and hours later Arno is drifting on broken ship depressed by his loses and fails. when a small ship sails near, we can have him getting drunk (like he does and love that in unity) and he begins to hallucinate Elise dancing around the shanty singing crew. after days of being on the ship it arrives into France to drop Arno off. he stumbles into city lost on what to do, how to find shay when he returns to the creed's hideout. searching around for books or scripts telling about his father or who shay is he seems to be at a lost. he decides to go find Marquis de Sade. he learns of the templar movement and investigates. killing off higher templars until he finds shay's hideout. after entering shay can give his speech about the assassin's wrongs and how the apple can bring a better future and Arno staring down at the one who's brought him so much pain begins to cut him off to get straight to the fight. shay using all the apples abilities. after Arno wins and shay is defeating you get a quick recap of everything that turned shay into what he is and Arno stands above the city with the apple in his hand. the angry starving people wanting salvation and he pulls his fathers watch out, looking at both before the screen fades. epilog, months pass and Connor is sitting at a table in a café, an assassin hands Connor a letter written by Arno, and a box with the apple. Arno, begins to talk a really nice monolog of the lose and revenge, of his love for elise and why he became an assassin, and of the apple and how he plans to rebuild the France and the French brotherhood. credits roll as conner stands up with the box and walks out.

I think we've all wanted this sort of story. Constant fantasizing on the AC subreddit, and I've often wondered what would be my own perfect iteration of this tale. You've clearly put a lot of love and thought into your story, but there are a few things I'd personally tweak if it were up to me. It's just my own preferences, and not a reflection of your own story. Just a few bullet points of my thoughts:
    - If you have a mission where Arno heads out to the U.S., this is a great chance to give one last ride to the naval mechanics that AC3-Rogue had. Recruit your crew and visit places outside of the continental United States during the game, be it AC3-style, or something more akin AC4 and Rogue. Whatever happens, though, I want to take on the Morrigan head to head at some point in the story. Could even use the Aquila to do it.
    - The game you're writing for would seriously need NEW locations beyond Boston and New York all over again, and new characters beyond the ones with whom we're already familiar. I'm not crazy about the idea of exploring New York yet again given we've done that twice now. Send 'em to Philadelphia or some other city important to events of this specific time and place in history. AC seriously needs to get back to its historical grounding, anyway.
    - I like your use of Aveline, but I'm not crazy that you've introduced her as Arno's first contact upon hitting Boston. I really feel like that should be a new character. Someone we're only just being introduced to, and maybe even a tease to make people _think_ it's Aveline. It could easily be a new character, and potentially one that, toward the end of the game, you start to realize is probably connected in some way to the Fryes or their mentor. Basically, an Easter egg that in some way sets up where we're at by the beginning of Syndicate to give the beginning of that game, maybe explaining in some small way that maybe their mentor is so overly cautious or gun-shy about the way the Assassins are doing their work by Victorian England is related to the shitshow that the events of this game unleashes. You could actually include lives lost on the Homestead to reinforce it, like maybe it's guys like Lance or Dave (or, if you want to go REALLY dark, include Ellen's kid, who'd be a young woman by this era) among the causalities, all in response to being controversially and overly bold in a previous mission.
    - But whatever you do, don't actually introduce Aveline herself until your scene of Arno getting out of Shay's interrogation. She needs reasons to be in Boston, for one thing. I never really pictured her training on the Homestead with Connor. Or you could even have separate gameplay with her earlier in the game finding out about Templar plans in New Orleans and finding out she needs to travel North to investigate for herself. You could even preserve the surprise entirely by revealing her investigation which led her there as a flashback mission framed by Arno asking her who she was and by what stroke of luck she happened to arrive there at that moment. You wouldn't even have to have Shay make the classic mistake of telling his guards to take care of Arno while stepping out (Shay seems like the kind of guy who'd want to handle that one personally, anyway) for this, either, as he'd be caught just as off-guard as we are by Aveline's introduction in this way.

I absolutely love this idea. I know I’m a year late to this!
But I personally like the idea of Connor not dying but being severely wounded to the point of no more combat and the only reason for him surviving is Evelyn dying as I think throughout the game Evelyn will be developed and her death protecting Connor, Arno (maybe even connors family) gives so much more weight, and justice that it took shay(the strongest Templar) to end her. But the other reason is that I love the idea of a conversation between Arno and Connor about how their revenge and anger was misplaced and the philosophical talk of templars and assassins (as they both understand both sides) at the end of the game. Them parting ways and rebuilding the assassins in there respective countries.
Also side note of gameplay. Bring back some naval combat in some missions but I like the idea on the ship you’re Connor, and Arno is first mate, as it would be great if they have talks of Edward(such as Connor learning about his grandfather, and also how maybe Achilles taught Connor some of shays naval tricks.)
And then at the end of game the excuse for Arno to still be in america for a little bit longer is to help Connor out till he’s healed a bit, and it being Arno as captain and Connor on a chair/bed telling him stories & watching Arno grow in naval combat, giving the odd sarcastic dry comment to him.

Ok...just got done watching. One thing that should be pointed out is; Connor has a daughter.
Although, this concept, is REALLY good. It'd be really cool for a thing like this to happen. Hell, we already got Kassandra meeting Eivor across centuries.
Connor going out like that, does make sense. He's a fighter, he'll die a fighter if his end is near. But considering that he has a daughter and most likely he'd train her to be an Assassin, I'd say she could've been involved somehow in this story.
What you did for Arno, it was good. Being trained even further, especially from Connor and having the drive to end Shay, would make Arno the Luke Skywalker of this saga if he were trained by both Yoda AND Vader. (just used that as a comparison) Arno ending Shay, makes perfect sense. The boss battle, pretty dang reminiscent, although that type of boss battle has been done multiple times.
Aveline being Connor's right hand, yes. Thousand times yes. Works. She is deadly, efficient and beautiful.
Shays end, makes sense. Him being older but more skilled, matched with the drive and determination from Arno putting an end to his father's killer, makes their rivalry pretty unique. The history between the Dorians, the Kenways (both being on two sides of the war) and Cormac and De Grandpre is one that we've watch unfold before our eyes growing up. To see all of that build up to a conclusion like this video, it would make it, likely, one of the most interesting and hyped up endings for characters we know since Ezio and Altair. These characters story endings are well overdue. If Connor had to die for a story like this to work, so be it. I played AC3 at launch and yeah it was buggy but the story is what intrigued me the most out of it.
As of right now, the stories of Arno, Connor, Shay, and Aveline may stay to be ancient history, all we could hope for is that, one day. One day, something like this can be made. Anything is possible in this life.

I like the idea behind this story of giving all of the character's that were shown here their ultimate conclusions, but as long as Arno doesn't kill Shay for Vengeance at the end & understands that he has to fight for those who need his help, than that would be the appropriate way to teach Arno to let go of his Past finally....
& then there's Connor's daughter in 1 comic who sadly wasn't mentioned in this video & would be without her father raising her after his death in this What If vid, so if you ever feel like you can improve this story or add anything more to it - please add a scene where Arno learns to let go & a scene where it shows Connor maybe training his daughter or his daughter living somewhere far away in North America for her safety, since Connor is Desmond's ancestor after all.

Also when Arno kills Shay I don’t like the fact that he killed him with a sword, I think it should have been a hidden blade. And the last thing I miss is like a 1 year later when Arno becomes a master assassins and the brotherhood in France is bigger than ever and Arno is not a young, reckless assassin but one of the world’s deadliest assassins ( he has potential for that). Thx for reading, and remeber it’s only my opinion.

THIS is one of my main issues with the new trilogy. The lack of character development or consequence, at least from AC III to Unity, you were provided with a sense that each story somehow linked to the other and is a natural progression or a prequel (in case of Black Flag) to one but now, the stories are so damn apart that the characters in the game are characters we will only hear about once and never to be seen or heard (I know about Bayek's letter in Valhalla) again.
Add that to the fact that Odyssey had almost nothing to do with the series and the ending only seemed like to justify its existence and the DLCs actually tried to add more to the lore at the expense of gameplay.
Just started Valhalla last week and it again feels like an outsider's story with my only assassin senses tingling hearing Desmond's audio logs before his death.
Origins felt like the closest Assassin's Creed to me, it felt like a good starting point of the series as the brotherhood is formed but then Odyssey and Valhalla said "Fuck the Creed!"

I honestly think that this would be the coolest AC game in the whole series, it would need some changes to Shay, that is, when he dies, he reveals to Arno how Lisbon was destroyed by assassins, or even a mission where you play with Shay and find the actual apple, but everything else seems perfect to me
