If ever they bring Co-Op back (and thus also bringing back the gear system) that they remember that they've had a transmog system in previous games so that we can select gear that fits our play style and then also make it look like we want with the different styles avaliable.
From my understanding, the stripes on the trousers of the Sans-culotte outfits are actually important: They were a visual sign of the patriotism of the people during that period, since by wearing striped trousers like those, they were rejecting the clothing fashion of the aristocrats at the time (which consisted of breeches) by wearing the clothes associated to the common people: pants (hence why "sans-culotte", used to mock those patriots, as "culotte" is french for breeches and "sans" means "without"). The stripes were also to symbolize that intention of deliberatly choosing to wear the pants as a patriotic act. So the fact that Arno's trousers get more significant stripes as the set becomes more "legendary" is just a nice touch, showing an evolving defiance toward the aristocracy and a greater connection to the patriots' cause, just like I would imagine a real sans-culotte would do during this period. It's a good costume for role-playing as a french revolutionary, basicaly... and that's thanks to the stripes XD

I absolutely loved the Raider outfit. it was my favourite. But it I felt like it would have been a lot better if it gave him the beard, he had in the trailer. The other bad thing about it was that you didn't get it right at the start of the DLC, because I would have enjoyed the DLC much more if I could wear the outfit he was supposed to wear, instead of getting it halfway through the story.
It’s so baffling to me that the master version of the phantom hood is so much better than the legendary. At times I always thought they must’ve mixed it up.
This is the only AC game that allows me to be a fashionable assassin, lol I usually mixed math his outfits and boom arno has assassin drip outfits and rizz
The trailer and concept art of the raider outfit would’ve looked much better than the in-game one. I thought the mask looked awesome and the cloak around the one arm looked much nicer than an odd cape.
I go for the best gear (in my opinion, based on the numbers) in terms of ability and boost stats, also considering a balanced playstyle, which is the following: Legendary Napoleonic Hood Legendary Medieval Coat Legendary Phantom Bracers Legendary Medieval Belt Legendary Prowler Breeches This gives the best stats in the most balanced way, in my opinion. Without an outfit to cover it, it looks terrible. So I go with Thomas de Carneillon's outfit, which I love as it's a nice adaptation of altair's outfit, feeling very AC-ish with a nice Unity style to it with the navy blue and brown colour scheme. That, and it's an outfit that actually requires some skill to get, unlike most others. If I didn't choose this one, it'd be altairs, for the nostalgia and again because it requires skill to unlock it.
As for me, I've personally liked only 1 gear outfit in Assassin's Creed Unity, and it was the legendary Medieval gear set. I can overlook all the design flaws because of the boosts that you get from it. Especially if you upgrade all 5 pieces.
9:30 its not medieval, thats literally a cuirass made to stop bullets, there's a lot of lore in uniforms and weaponary after the medieval age, I think I would never allow you to design characters of any ages but modern times 😢
There’s a mod that adds new physics to the hood and cape along with the mask to make it resemble that look from the trailer that you should check out, massive improvement
7:20 those aren't trousers, are pants, the main prupose of that outfit is to represent the low-class workers who can't afford nobel robes like breeches (culotes) (Sans = Without, Culottes = Breeches)
Maybe I'm mistaken but it looks like you don't know the purpose of the iron mask, it probably comes from a day when a high ranked military guy put an iron mask on a prisoner to make everyone think he captured a very important person. From that point, everyone started to wonder and theorise on who was this person with the iron mask. They thought it was impossible to remove the mask. Most theories and legends said it was related to the king, Louis XIV, the Sun King. It was said it's his brother, and he emprisoned him so that he can take the trhone. Some also said it was his son, but he was a shame for him so he decided to hide his existence from the world. Other said the king's wife cheated on him with this man, so as a punishment, the King put an iron mask on the man. I was really young when I first saw a documentary about the man with the iron mask, the iconography of this mask and the settings terrified me
i use a mix of the Legendary Phantom n Musketeer sets n Im probably one of the only few to do that. Colour:Peaceful Tales Hood:Legendary Musketeer Coat:Legendary Phantom Forearms:Legendary Phantom (I am planning on getting the Legendary military one tho) Waist:Legendary Phantom(I am planning on getting the Legendary Musketeer one tho) Legs:Legendary Phantom
You must not be in touch with the community if you think the Brotherhood outfit is "nobody's favorite". It's been brought back countless times for a reason.
Honestly my favourite outfit is Arno’s standard outfit (gear version) but all the others are just too stylish for a man who is meant to kill targets without being noticed, and I like the gear version because I can change its colour. It has low stats but I just try to overcome it
I find it so weird you say they should add stuff and colours and etc to some outfits so they are more striking but that’s like the complete opposite of an assassin, you shouldn’t stand out😂 you should blend in
I wish arno had his own leg gear as much to fit character always i prefer instead of others leg gear i equiped P.s. previously i had prowler cape on leg military shirt and belt it looked fine but with sans cluoletes it looked dope best
I don't like Unity as a game at all, but I think the costumes are the best in the entire series. They incorporate the actual fashion of the era (frock coats, military garb, etc), but manage to mix it up really well with Assassin aesthetic. As much as I love Ezio's robes, they look nothing like something anyone would have worn during the period. Syndicate goes too far in the other direction - they stay too close to the real life fashion and it feels less 'AC' because of it. Unity's costume design is the perfect marriage between historical and fantasy, imo.
The problems here is that high level outfits are too rich and coloured for an operative assassin. The best in term of coolness and praticality are the tailored arno outfit and the fearless outfit
Sorry for bother, 1) you had the napoleonic set wrong you put it 2,1,3 instead of 1,2,3. 2) what you were saying around the 19:30 mark arnos master outfit perfectly encapsulates what he was witnesssing during this time, the thriving upperclass (the kings, lords, nobility and such) heavily opressing the the uprising lowerclass(the peasants, searfs, people like me and you, jokes) Also its pronoused san-c_uuu_ lotte with a heavy emphasis on the you sound in the middle and you got close on bougeois its borgewah (or at least thats how i pronounce it) not meant as disrespect just help in the least passive aggression yt comments allow

The one with the curiass is my favorite
Why the dead king's outfit look better in the dlc trailer
There’s a mod that adds new physics to the hood and cape along with the mask to make it resemble that look from the trailer that you should check out, massive improvement
How do u get the French duelist outfit
It’s available in the Secrets of the Revolution pack which I think is available in the store?
@@willismakesmovies I’m on pc and I couldn’t find it but I deleted ac unity anyways since I finished it for the 3rd time
7:20 those aren't trousers, are pants, the main prupose of that outfit is to represent the low-class workers who can't afford nobel robes like breeches (culotes) (Sans = Without, Culottes = Breeches)
Unity is one of the best assassins creed games beside brotherhood and 3
Maybe I'm mistaken but it looks like you don't know the purpose of the iron mask, it probably comes from a day when a high ranked military guy put an iron mask on a prisoner to make everyone think he captured a very important person.
Colour:Peaceful Tales
Hood:Legendary Musketeer
Coat:Legendary Phantom
Forearms:Legendary Phantom (I am planning on getting the Legendary military one tho)
Waist:Legendary Phantom(I am planning on getting the Legendary Musketeer one tho)
Legs:Legendary Phantom
I wish if Ubisoft dose a remaster or remake for Unity that they use the outfit that is in the trailers. Just make it as an outfit like the others
Anyone know how to get the Altair outfit now? I can’t find anything accurate online
In my opinion Thomas de carnillion 's outfit is easier to get than altair's outfit 😂
Arno has such graceful movements….i don’t know what’s going on in the heads of people who defend rpg creed games… they have movements of Mariobros
Legendary Musketeers outfit is my favorite
Whats with the audio quirk at 22:46?
You must not be in touch with the community if you think the Brotherhood outfit is "nobody's favorite". It's been brought back countless times for a reason.
@@KhaosKontroller I for one actually got sick of it by the time I played black flag
Honestly my favourite outfit is Arno’s standard outfit (gear version) but all the others are just too stylish for a man who is meant to kill targets without being noticed, and I like the gear version because I can change its colour. It has low stats but I just try to overcome it
16:17 yup from my understanding it’s about right. Bor-zhwa
I find it so weird you say they should add stuff and colours and etc to some outfits so they are more striking but that’s like the complete opposite of an assassin, you shouldn’t stand out😂 you should blend in
I love master arno outfit it's my favorite it really screams arno
Link for cloth physics mod?
I wish arno had his own leg gear as much to fit character always i prefer instead of others leg gear i equiped
P.s. previously i had prowler cape on leg military shirt and belt it looked fine but with sans cluoletes it looked dope best
My favourite outfit is the medieval outfit
My second is thomas outfit
Third is Altair
Fourth is sans coulett
Fifth is master assassin's outfit
My favorite is Altair or Edwards
I prefer the simple look of Altiar's robes
and Edward just looks cool
My favorite was Thomas’ robes. I think that the way to get it though was way too boring and took a long time.
great video. great game
I actually hate how the higher tier outfits don’t have the lower robe part like Arno’s main outfit, such a waste.

I like when you say trousers
what just happened to arno's right hand? XD 31:26
Hey pls make outfit video on AC Mirage
I will once I’ve done the others!!
@@willismakesmovies thanks
Man is making fun of French accents when he talks the way he does, menace 😂
Great video and Ilove your accent man! Are you Scottish?
close! I’m from the north east of england
"Oh god here we go"
The problems here is that high level outfits are too rich and coloured for an operative assassin. The best in term of coolness and praticality are the tailored arno outfit and the fearless outfit
love em
Sorry for bother,
1) you had the napoleonic set wrong you put it 2,1,3 instead of 1,2,3.
2) what you were saying around the 19:30 mark arnos master outfit perfectly encapsulates what he was witnesssing during this time, the thriving upperclass (the kings, lords, nobility and such) heavily opressing the the uprising lowerclass(the peasants, searfs, people like me and you, jokes)
Also its pronoused san-c_uuu_ lotte with a heavy emphasis on the you sound in the middle and you got close on bougeois its borgewah (or at least thats how i pronounce it) not meant as disrespect just help in the least passive aggression yt comments allow
@@theguvnor1171Oh no I appreciate it really! Can’t get better if I’m not aware of the errors so thank you ◡̈
16:17 yes your pronunciation is good
I love how terribly you say the French words, you're just making obnoxious noises and it's friggin hilarious🤣😂
Any without coattails: F tier
So much spoilers, at least have an alert up man
what up with the ai upscaling. it looks like shit
Hate stripey trousers? You, sir, have no taste.
Most of the colour schemes are dreadful so it's good we're not including them
Yeah they really should have included a colour slider instead of set colour schemes lol
Connor is overrated
Thanks!
Thanks!
