I think we can all agree the most powerful Daedric prince is Nazeem, whose sphere of influence is driving people to quick saving and then beheading him, then reloading the save, not to keep him alive, but to do it again and again. Nazeem dwells in the plain of oblivion know as "The Cloud District", which you probably don't get to very often.
Rian Trainor i have come over my hate for Nazeem since recently: I was taking a quest in castle Volkihar where they instructed me to kill a random important man and blame the dawnguard. Of course i chose Nazeem, killed him, blamed the dawnguard. But then i didn't complete the objective. Apparently Nazeem wasn't an important person at all. All that narcissism wasn't true 😂. He's as important as Heimskr or Brenuin
“Do you get to the cloud district very often, oh what am I saying? Of course you don’t.” ACTUALLY I DO GET THERE OFTEN NAZEEM. WHEN THE FUCK DO I SEE YOU IN THE CLOUD DISTRICT. GO HOME TO THE DRUNKEN HUNSTMAN
Never seen his ass in dragon's reach once. If hes so important you'd think he'd get invited to eat at the Jarl's huge table once in awhile, but NOPE not once. While I can go in the Jarl's bedroom in the middle of the night, steal his knickers, and all the guards say is "HAIL COMPANION" I have now made it my goal to eat Nazeem. Eat him and turn him into perks!
Harrowed One indeed The God of Uselessness & Waste Of Existence.. that KAH!-JEET!! makes me wants to sell his skin.. XD Note: (Just so you know the KAH is the Sound of Spit Getting Ready and JEET is the Word SHIT with HEAVY Emphasis on the "I" + The SPIT Flying Right to His Face Like A "FLYING F#@$")
God I wish that happened in the game. I despise Molag Bal. Hermeus Mora used to be my least favorite because of how creepy he is. Molag Bal dethroned him for me after I figured out more about Molag Bal and what he did to Serana... Needles to say, I despise him and would laugh if we saw sheogorarh kill him with a cheese sword. Want that to be a quest in the next elder scrolls game or a random mod in Skyrim
Well it would be kind of funny, watching as one guy builds up a mighty empire, then have it struck down immediately afterwards. It’s like history in twenty minutes.
Would be better if Mundas : " What are you gonna do? Throw a rock at me?" Sheogorath: *holding giant fucking metorite behind his back* " Nah m8 who do you think i am ? Some kind of mad lad?"
Even if he did so, when sithis was doen winning, even if he was weakened from the fight, which he wouldn't be, because the fight would he nothing for him, he would still be hundreds of times more powerful than sheogorath
He literally would do nothing and allow the rest to kill each other, once one remains he would simply destroy their mind and lead them to take their own life
I'm only sad that we only have three recorded instances of Sheogorath getting the better of other Daedric Princes. I'd love to see how he humiliated Princes like Molag Bal.
The Beacon actually follows you through different containers (including the recently deceased.) My second play through, I killed a guy, went to loot him, then noticed the beacon. I left it alone. Carried on with my day, killed a few more people, looted some chests, and found it again. Left it alone, fast travled away and was ambushed by Dawnguard (playing a vampire lord) Killed them off pretty quickly, looted the corpses and there it was again. Following me. Taunting me. She knows I am what she hates. And she has chosen to torment my unlife with her beacon of Atherium Light. Driving me to the same madness that drives the lesser, feral Vampires of Tamriel.
[SaRCaStIc vOIce] All these dead bodies have so much gold... All these weird skeletons are so weird... All this lazer puzzle needs is dubstep and ill ragequit... All this boss needs is a 1up and- Thats... Fu**ing stupid Rrward Yay, soord of making ur screen explode in any nordic ruin ever
Well he kinda did a lot of things in oblivion.. sold his soul to some daedra became a daedra pissed of mehrunes dagon. killed umaril . favored by akatosh(maybe??) and loved by the people of cyrodil and many more so i guess he deserves immortality?
The Niverine (I think that's how you spell it) from Morrowind is also very powerful. He's not a god, but he is immortal and currently (by the time of Skyrim) visiting Akavir.
so all those cheats that I exploited, like duplicating one F*** ton of skooba, taking it all, and running, at mock 5, naked around Cyradell(how ever it spelled) are cannon, sweet
perhaps the reason sheogorath has so much influence in skyrim is that hes inhabiting a physical body in Nirn. that being the body of the hero of kavatch
The bible of Sheogorath : WabbajackWabbajackWabbajackWabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Cheese Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack and then he proceeded to turn all the dwemer into a giant numidium made of sweetrolls that he gifted to his new chair named Dagoth-Ur that was in fact a library made of cheese, like all libraries in the shivering isles.
lol i didnt realize that it was actually cannon that you become Sheogorath at the end of Oblivion. That's a pretty silly and jacked up ending for an otherwise epic tale. i love it.
Technically I don't think you become him so much as the cursed entity that is the Daedric god of Madness latches onto you rather than Jyggalag again. Either way it's fucking badass
@@kaiser1817 yeah but isn't jyg who is said strongest who now roams without a realm and also inevitably would always have become sheogorath because you cannot bring order to oblivion.
apparently Hero of Kvatch (oblivion character) becomes the new mad god after shivering isles. Don't know if its cannon or not. So the Sheogorath in eso might be the same one in oblivion but different then the one in Skyrim.
Why thank you, a shame you’re not crazed though...ya know, you actually remind me of meself at a young age, roam’n the provinces of Tamriel, doin EVERY little thing just for a bit of cheese....no? Then get out of my sight ya puny mortal! Just you bein here is driving me...MAD! HAHA!
I've come across a theory that Jyggalag was always the prince of madness, even before he became Sheogorath. While Sheogorath's madness is the manic or demented kind, Jyggalag's madness is more of an obsessive kind, meticulously ordering everything in a way that really is beyond the bounds of sanity. Sheogorath seems to hate the idea of anything having any sort of logic or order to it, but Jyggalag takes this too far in the other direction, which is itself arguably a form of madness.
i feel that the more powerful a daedric prince is, the less they utilizes their power. kinda like dogs, you have those pethetic little squeaks who aggressively attack just about anything and then you have those huge dogs who are always chill. you wouldn't see the more powerful daedra like nocturnal, sheogorath or hermaeus mora invading tamriel
"Once, I ruled this Realm, a world of perfect Order. My dominion expanded across the seas of Oblivion with each passing era" Its Jyggalag. The Dadric Prince of Order. All the Dadric princes feared him soo much that they had to ally together to turn him into Sheogorath
What about The Hero of Kvach who defeated Jyggalag in battle, and was named the new Sheogorath, wouldn't that technically make Sheogorath the strongest?
He's definitely an odd ball amongst Daedric Princes. He's almost like the Lorkhan of the Daedra. I think they teamed up to beat him because he was invading other realms in a nondiscriminatory way. Other Princes have invaded realms, such as Mehrunes Dagon. Soltha Sil was also said to be a lot like Jyggalag. " It is said that the Daedra fear wisdom and order, and for his similarities to Jyggalag's principles, they feared Sotha Sil above all others."
I don't even have to watch, I know it's Sheogorath. I mean, corrupted form of Jygglag(or whatever his fuckin name is), who threatened all the other Daedra so much they turned him into Sheo? Duh
Why are most of the canon endings for your characters at the end of ES games involved with Deadric princes? Morrowind: Manipulated by Azura to do her bidding in every life he/she experiences via reincarnation. Oblivion: Helps defeats Mehrunes Dagon along with help from the Septim bloodline, gets tricked into entering the shivering isles and tricked one last time into mantling Sheogorath's personality. Skyrim: The Dragonborn, after defeating Alduin gains the attention of Hermaeus Mora. Who convinces the dragonborn to return the Ogma Infinium back to his realm (and in turn buffing the dragonborn somewhat for his efforts.) The returning of the book pisses off Mirrak, sensing his days as Mora's servant are running short does his best to kill you in order to prove to Mora that he is still of use. You defeat Mirrak however due to Hermaeus already knowing of Mirrakk's alterior motives. He obliterates Mirrakk, and forces the Dragonborn to stay in Apocryptha as his new servant (all the while giving the Dragonborn infinite knowledge for his efforts). Whats gonna happen to our character in Elder Scrolls 6 huh? Get tricked by Hircine and becoming his new pet or something? Turned into Sheogorath's newest, most favorite cheese fork?
Maybe it'll have something to do with the local pantheon, like the Yokudan pantheon if the game is in Hammerfell. I can just imagine if it's in Elsweyr though. You get turned into moon sugar by Sheggarath (I think that's his Khajiiti name).
Doubt. No one follows their original pantheons I think. The nords for example worship the nine which is an amalgamation of elven and human gods. They no longer worship their originally savage pantheon. Yokuda sank into the sea after the red guards fought the sea elves or something and hammerfell has been a part of the empire for a long while. I dunno, I doubt we'd see the yokudan pantheon.
@@revolverocelot1380 The various races have always worshipped the same pantheon, just by different names. For example, Lorkhan is called Shor by Nords, Sep by Yokudans, Lorkhaj by Khajiit, etc.
por que los dos? I'm mean even now that they are separate Sheo and Jygg they are still two halves of the same super powerful being that could put any other god in their place. The only difference is style really, Jygg was much more just stomp and win with efficiency, while Sheo still wins with efficiency he just does it in a more personal and directed manner. Jygg would conquer your realm, Sheo makes you kill your own son so that he get's the soul, both are devastating in their own way.
@Maple lord ESO lore is always a bit all over, with everything told to the player being a mix of correct and incorrect at the same time. At least from the way Oblivion presents it, they are two identities tied to the same being, and thus why Sheo needed you to mantle him so that there could be Sheo around to face Jygg. It a case of pre oblivion one could technically call them the same being, though after that they did become 2 separate beings.
@Maple lord So the answer is kinda both then. Since Sheo only become the Sheo we know him as after the binding. So 2 become a new one that became a new 2 so to speak. Again lore in ES is very belief based so nothing is 100% even with lore masters, just more a agreed on interpretation. straight from the wiki "Aldmeri creation stories attribute his creation to the removal of Lorkhan's "divine spark." In one of these myths, he is described as the "Sithis-shaped hole" of the world. However, in an interview conducted by the Imperial Library, Haskill states this interpretation of the creation of Sheogorath may not be the case". So from that its not even agreed in universe if that is true, plus a sithis-shaped hole would be basically padomay or void, specifically the remnant of sithis that came from Lorkhan losing his power. To put it simply, the answer to are Sheo and Jygg different beings, yes, no, kinda, very much yes right now.
@Maple lord I do like the yin and yang interpretation personally, since it does fit the structure given stuff like Anu and Padomay. That Sheo was just void and chaos, but madness only bloomed once Order was mixed. That and the fact that for a mad god Sheo was very organized, and for a god of Order Jygg had fanatic drive nearing madness.
You're missing something. Have you ever considered that the reason the new Sheogorath can enter Mundus at will is not due to his power? The Hero of Kvatch originated from Mundus, so why should the barrier stop him from entering his own world?
Well he was weakened after giving uo some if his power, Jyggalag literally could have consumed every single daedrics plain of oblivion because of how powerful he was becoming!
I love to think of a theory where the Thalmor are promoting this old world order, a static rule of all of tamriel. And the reason they're so successful is because they are working for/with Jyggalag, to grow his power in order.
I don’t think destabilizing Nirn would cause it to cease to exist, but it would _cease to exist as we know it._ It would refurn to a state of shapelessness and timelessness.
*Azura:* "Ugh! That Vivec guy is so infuriating! First he breaks basically every promise to me that there was to break, and now he's calling himself a living god... and I can do nothing but stand here, throw bodies at him and watch..." *Sheogorath:* "Not to mention he literally deep-throated you until you exploded..." *Azura:* "... yeah... and that..." *Sheogorath:* "I dare say Molag Bal is a lucky... woman? Or is Vivec a woman? Then how did she-" *Azura:* "I think that's not really his... they say he bit off Molag Bal's..." *Sheogorath:* "That's disturbing even by my standards..." *Azura:* "I didn't even know you had standards... then again, being full of surprises is kind of your thing..." *Sheogorath:* "It is, isn't it? So, want me to throw a moon at that Vivec guy?" *Azura:* "I don't think you can do that..." *Sheogorath:* "Doing it right now!" *Azura:* "But there's a barrier!" *Sheogorath:* "I don't care!" *Azura:* "That makes no sense!" *Sheogorath:* Who needs logic when you can have it rain Moon Sugar!?" *Azura:* "What-" *Sheogorath:* "CHEESE!" *Azura:* "What are you even on about!?" *Sheogorath:* "YOU MADE ME LIKE THIS!!! YOU MADE ME!!! YOU MADE MEEE!!!" *Azura:* "... I... guess that's fair..." *Sheogorath:* "YOU'RE MY GLOB!!!"
Hircine, no matter how weak or powerful he is, will always be my favorite; He's honorable (more so than his brothers, at least), he respects cunning and will, he truly cares for werewolves--there's evidence he regularly communes with his children, giving them advice and even appointing leaders when necessary.
@@Pro_Butcher_Amateur_Human hircine is the more reasonable of the prince's in a way. Its pretty rare for a prince to be as closely connected to nature as hircine is. The only other one would be Peryite with his disease domain. Even hircines blood moon hunt isn't so much an invasion like molag bals planemeld or dagons oblivion crisis was. I sorta picture it like a local fair kind of thing. Its all for the sake of sportsmanship.
Jyggalag. The answer is Jyggalag before he became Sheogorath. If it took all fifth teen of the princes to team up to bring him down he is the strongest. When the champion of Cyrodiil took Jyggalags place and became Sheogorath he became the strongest daedric prince but his madness handicaps him. I would really like to see a Jyggalag quest line in six. Aedra quest lines would be fantastic too.
Correction: Jyggalag WAS the strongest. And he will regain that title eventually, assuming the other Daedra don't take measures to make that not happen. But as of now, he's lost so much power that he's only on the same level as Peryite, who is one of the weakest Daedric Princes. As of 4E 201, Sheogorath has the most raw power out of all the Daedra, although the Daedra with the most ability to influence Mundus is debatable. In that regard, I'd put my money on either Mehrunes Dagon (constant invasions of Nirn and other planes of Oblivion) or Vaermina (dream worlds and memory devouring of mortals).
Austin the Dragonborn dagon is still recovering from getting grilled by Akatosh, Vaemina or Bal are likely the most powerful at the moment assuming Bal has recovered from the ESO
Actually by that Logic, the Mage Herself would be the most powerful, since The Mage controls The Atronach (Can summon and control thousands of Atronachs at her whim)
Maybe, but i doubt that, since Nirn is quite orderly by his standards (since it was created by Anu alinged spirtis), which means it doesn't require/need his proding or his knights of order.
Y N But he’s probably pissed off about the Dragonborn killing Alduin. Considering that order in the world, will have natural events come. Alduin was gonna push extinction and possibly open the next world but the Dragonborn stopped it. Order in the universe was disrupted.
I don't think you best described Jyggalag. Jyggalag IS the Daedric prince of Order, by extension of this he literally knew every event that would ever occur in all time. Through careful calculation, and meticulous planning, he could conquer worlds. The reason the other Daedric princes were so scared of him was because every thousand years his realm would grow in at least twice its original size. With the power of his Knights of Order, and the Priests of Order at his back, Jyggalag was more powerful than even Merhuns Dagon. Not even the armies of Oblivion could match the order and power of the armies of Jyggalag.
Who Knows All the prince's combined efforts to essentially turn him into sheogorath, with him returning to his original form to wreak havoc on shivering isles every greymarch
Cory Trapkins I know that which is why I'm wondering why Xanadu-King is saying "Not even the armies of Oblivion could match the order and power of the armies of Jyggalag" when that is literally what they did
Who Knows I think he meant Mehrunes' army of Oblivion. They don't say what his realm is called in Oblivion, I don't think. They just call it "Oblivion"
+Who Knows All of them combined, +their princes. If it was just a 1v1 for example, Jyg would win. He was able to see almost every possible outcome before it'd even happen.
If Mora isn't the most directly powerful, he's definitely the most dangerous, IMO. He seems to consistently show the ability to use his own power to kill people in Mundus even without some crisis having occured to empower him or his influence, and he always seems to get what he wants, even if you try to defy him.
@Grungus Khan but that’s true jyggs concept of knowing all Would mean he would know he would’ve been backstabbed and would probably drive him insane + sheo is just derived of his power Rn jyggy is weak he lost all of his power But soon he is gonna regain them making once more the absolute strongest
@@manuelmoralez2257 no jyggy made accurate predictions through calculations and facts and only told what will happen. Mora collects everything whether or not it is true. Jyggy is linear while Mora is a curvy line. Mora hoards knowledge linked to destiny which Jyggy doesn't believe in
Sebas G Jygglag has no interest in mortals, he just wants order and the onlywayto make nirn I to order would be flattening it and Turing it into his relm, killing everyone ext. And since it's not possible to invade at the moment he can't do that
The_Drop Bear damn I had the same thought. Maybe he’ll pose as someone else to try to convince us to destroy the other daedra. Then use their power to be a huge d bag.
One thing about Nocturnal is that the curse she put on her Cowl needed the power of a freaking Elder Scrolls to be erased If that is not a demonstration of power, then I don't know what you need
But they could've technically gotten another Prince to remove the curse. The elder scrolls was only used as a way to rewrite history so there was no curse at all. It was just easier considering the tools at hand. It wasn't that they needed it's power. They used it as a loop hole that wasn't necessary but was easier to do. (Yes I know this is old)
Nocturnal has the power of cleavage. Have you noticed that in other fantasy games, a female mage's power seems to have direct correlation with the amount of cleavage they show?
jyggalag was the strongest but the other princes feared his order and power. They cursed him and turned him mad. This turned him into sheogorath and an accidental prince.
Vinny Critzer Sheo does have the same amount of raw power, and is still incredibly powerful, but his madness just can't stand up to the cold order, planning and calculations of future events of Jyggalag.
Mehrumes Dagon, technically. He is the Daedra of *Change.* (And he's got 4 arms - _do you even lift bro?!_ ) _Everything_ changes.... Except War. *War never changes*
And armor and weapons. How the heck has Tamriel gone through thousands of years of history but the armor and weapons you loot off of draugr are identical to anything you buy new from a smith? An ebony sword looted from a draugr is the same as an ebony sword new-forged by Adrienne. War usually stimulates innovation, but not in Tamriel.
Yeah but to win a war you need to have order, the order wins and stops wars and Jygalagg is order. Also his Sword is cool af in comparison to that generic deadric Axe that Merhunes Dagon used.
@Alika Fifi arafiah they aren't, you coudl say that Jygalagg was stopped because he was becoming stronger than Sithis itself considering he was ruling the order of all creation.
vivec was either killed by the nerevarine, or disapeared/died after the effects of the heart of lorkhan wore off, if they showed what happend they would have to force the choice of killing him in morrwind to be canon or not which is something they usually try to avoid
fishlove69 It's a gift with a catch. You have immense amounts of knowledge, but no one believes what you tell them! Hence the word "Liar" in his name! :)
Cold harbor is in the mod for skyrim special addition, the gray cowl of nocturnal. The voice acting for the mod is mehhhh... but I feel it's essential for any thief play through. Pretty awesome
Cold harbor is literally just a shittier version of Tamriel, why would you want that? Also Grey Cowl is the best quest mod I've played for Skyrim, only other one even worth mentioning is Wheels of Lull. I've heard Vigilant is pretty good but haven't tried it, the vast majority are garbage though. None of them have consistently good voice acting, at best two or three voices will be professional quality and the rest will sound like mumbling nerds talking into a tin can and whistling between every word.
I would say Sheo/Jygg and Meridia. Power is subjective as I believe influence and personal strength are both powers. The things that make Meridia unique from the daedra make her stronger. Her ties from Aetherius are still there in a way. Though not at full strength she can utilize differing power sources to combat many of the princes. Number one being manipulating those that naturally fear daedra and undead Sheogorath is so powerful that even though the combined strength of the princes was used to seal Jygg, they actually created something worse. He is unpredictable at times, personally strong, crafty, knowledgeable and manipulative. It's like when they tried to stop Jygg they accidentally created something by giving a piece of themselves up.
Tbh I think it's pretty cool how it's likely that during the events of Skyrim, three Elder Scrolls protagonists are alive at the same time. While the Dragonborn is doing his thing, the Champion is a god and Nerevarine is in Akavir being technically immortal. Unless he was killed in Akavir but that hasn't been confirmed or denied.
DeAngelo Ellis the Daedra dear Jygglag, so they made him into Sheogorath. Jgyallag has the same amount of power as Sheogorath, but he is stronger overall as he is able to predict every event that is going to happen and has one of if not the strongest army
You're just with her because of her neckline. Since I realised that I could just stockpile lockpicks it's all been about Azura for me. By Azura, by Azura, by Azura!
Not true with Hircine.. sure, he will sent all kind of nasties to hunt you down, but I can see him being more amused than mad at you deciding to screw him over. Thats what I like about him... you are either the hunter or the prey, and no matter which one you are, he is pleased if you assume one of these roles by your own will. (and turning against him definitely makes you a prey to him)
Sheogorath is stronger than Jyggalag cause the player character in oblivion kicked Jyggalag's butt in his own realm before becoming a daedric prince. Also let's be real we all kept Umbra for ourselves.
Canonically not, but if you look at Skyrim´s daedric artifact rewards, you will notice 2 from the oblivion timeline are missing and that the Gray fox cowl didnt appear, so yeah, potentailly HoK sheo kept 3 artifacts for himself plus a bunch of other power-ups and items, also I´ve heard people sayin´ that since you got the mantle of prince of madness and you were originally from mundus you are no longer limited to travel between Nirn and the oblivion plane nearly as hard as previous sheo, so yead definitely more broken.
Yeah, well regardless I have no ideas on how could C VIle, get his mask back if he gave it to the prince of madness himself! Lol I cant imagine how awkward it would be to get back LMAO, like would he just try to teleport back to him and have it not work and be like: "Oh **** I cant believe I´m being given the umbra treatment again!" and Barbas be Like: "want me to check out on who has your mask?" Vile: "Ok", Barbas goes checking and returns with Sheo, Vile would be so trolled LMAO XD
Or the umbra version: Vile: I must punish the guy who kept umbra! Barbas: Send assassins you should Vile sends assassins years go by, and Vile keeps receiving souls but with no signs of Umbra, the assassins or the Hero of Kvatch Vile: Where the **** is my sword, *+ª*!! Barbas: Hey at least you still are getting souls XD Meanwhile in Shivering isles... New Sheogorath: Damn this sword is fantastic for killing dancers! Haskill: You know you are sending your dancers right into Vile´s realm, isnt that Counterproductive for your own power my lord? New Sheo: Yeah. Yeah I get it, I just though, it would be fun to set up a new precedent as the prince of madness and add Vile to my list of daedra lord trollings, I will go deliver his sword, maybe in the coming week? Haskill: Sure, sure, I suppose he will have quite a reaction if you do now. New Sheo: "Trollface", I cant wait to see his reaction! Needless to say Vile´s trollface kept Sheo LMAO´ing for the whole year afterwards!
Jacob Riché you defeated Jyggalag with the power of Sheogorath inside his own relm, Jgyallag didn't have control over it yet as the grey-march wasn't complete. Sheogorath has the same raw strength as Jygglag , but he doesn't have the ability to predict every event
500 plus dla Mardeya If it was, you'd think there would be a bunch of mentions and books written about it, also, the lusty argonion maid is in it for some reason (it was written just before morrowind, way after eso),
Skulduggery Pleasant It is canon, as Bethesda said so. Unfortunately for you, you don't choose what is and isn't canon. There is no history of ESO lore in any other TES game, as it occurs during a time-frame known as the interegnum, in which extremely little is known.
No honorable mention for Hircine? He's not the strongest, be he did create were-beasts and has had a huge impact on the mortal realm. I'd argue he's stronger than Hermaes Mora is at least.
that wasnt hircines full power that the nerevarine fought, its in hircines nature too always allow his prey a chance of survival/escape, to him there no fun in a hunt if its unfair to the prey
wishbone346 Hi wishbone! remember me? Good to sed you again. I do think Hircine is quite strong, but it is difficult to know for sure because Molag Bal created vampires. Are were beasts or vampires stronger?
6:45 - Hermeus Mora: "Work *smarter...* not harder..." Also, you forgot the evilest and most powerful Daedra of all: H'owaard the Todd! Prince of lies, corruption, and microtransactions, and patron saint of whores. He may only be a harbinger for them, but the lords in the planes of Bethezdia, and *especially* the cruel slavemasters Zennimacks are among the most ruthless beasts in existence! H'owaard the Todd has corrupted countless worlds, and even brought the lands of Fallion Out LXXVI into a horrifying purgatory where it perpetually walks a fine line between nominal functionality and cataclysmic destruction! He's cursed countless mortals with immortality, doomed to feel the pain of death but never succumb to it unless he offers them a specific circumstance for death, and that's if they're *lucky.* He's legendary for, and *relishes* in, enticing people with grand promises before crushing them when they're at their most vulnerable. Again, he may only be the glorified henchman of his masters, but H'owaard the Todd is willing to sink to whatever depths necessary to appease them. It doesn't matter how many worlds they condemn/destroy, how many lies he must tell, or how many ideals he abandons to whore himself out to an audience, just as long as people become his thralls for his masters.
plus he was in the infamous Daedric sect open to none but the most powerful and evil Daedra of them all... the *_Klu'uub of Xcheh-ehsszz_* ... known to many due to its most diabolical and malevolent of mottos: *_It Just Works!_* (RUclips won't let me type using the Daedric alphabet smh)
@@chainsaw8507 nope. the power a daedra possess is all the same. the only differences are their spheres of influence. the more followers one has, the larger their influence. the inverse is also true. a daedra that loses all of it's followers loses all it's influence. azura has the entire races of khajit and dunmer worshipping her, so that makes her the strongest. this is also why the thalmor work to ban talos worship. they wish to depose talos, who, depending on man/mer perspective, guards akatosh or imprisons auriel.
Hermaeus Mora is the Batman of the Daedric Princes. He doesn't have any powers, but he is intelligent enough to be quite formidable. His brain is his power.
So... basically... the hero of Kvatch is the most powerful daedric prince of all? That's really cool actually. Anyway, you said something about his mantle taking over or something. Does that explain why my Argonian Sheogorath is a Nord in Skyrim?
Mateusz Bazydło The canon hero of Kvatch is an Imperial, this explains why he is a human. I think him being a Breton in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was for aesthetic reasons, not necessarily canon reasons. Hope I helped! :)
Mateusz Bazydło Well sort of. The canon race of each of the game's protagonist (the player) usually matches the province the game takes place in. Dunmer for morrowind, imperial for oblivion, nord for skyrim. Being able to choose any race is just a noncanonical gameplay feature for player convenience. That is why in oblivion the mage's guild quest where some guy sends you to pick up a super heavy magic ring to try and trick you into drowning in a well is the same for all characters, including argonians. It is also why you don't have to be a khajit in order to eat moonsugar. However, Sheogorath having the ability to appear in any form he desires also applies. As for how mantling works, think of it this way: Greater spirits have certain roles to play in the universe of elder scrolls, each role being part of the cosmic balance. If a being leaves that role for any reason, the universe will find a replacement to refill the empty position. Talos the ninth divine came to be when three different mortal beings filled the place by Shor/Lorkhan. In other words, when Jyggalg left the iles he knew the universe needed a new sheogorath to fill the necessary amount of chaos needed to maintain universal balance, so the universe transformed the champion of cyrodiil into sheogorath, as they were the most qualified replacement.
Thats one of his powers, he is playing with your mind and one day youll be going mad about it....or maybe you stay perfectly sane...booring boring sane.
don`t need 15 minutes. Its Jyggalag. If you played the game, "Jyggalag was so strong that the other Daedric Princes cursed him onto becoming Sheogorath. the exact opposite." But the shivering Isles expansion in Oblivion is about freeing Jyggalag eternally. So now there is a new God. Sheogorath. It is no longer Jyggalag becoming Sheogorath, now there is Jyggalag *and* Sheogorath. This was a way to make the champion of kvatch feel superior the same way as the nerevarine or the dragonborn. The champion of kvatch is Sheogorath, and Jyggalag is back forever.
@@samiamrg7 Sithis isn't a Daedric Prince. He is the birthed soul incarnate of Padomay. It's confusing. Yes, I did nick that description from the wiki.
No, it isn’t that the others lack creativity. What he means is, he can do things that the other daedra can’t do due to the barriers between nirn and oblivion, which limits the daedra’s possible influence in Tamriel. While the other daedra can’t do things like throwing moons at cities due to the barriers, sheogorath seems unaffected by them, meaning he can do those things. Creativity isn’t the problem. It’s having the ability to work around the barriers in place by the dragonfires.
Considering the wabbajack is the only thing that can kill mehrunes dagon in vanilla oblivion, id say the mad boi is definitely the most powerful. The problem is he’d have to care enough to actually use his power.
@@manuelmoralez2257 I wouldn't be surprised they did that and made the next game about the Fractal existence of the "Game" to exist in every console and that "you", your character, is a player in an AI and is the true sickness affecting the balance of the world, but of course, you can play this game normally or use Microtransactions to try and affect each chapter. The strongest Deadric Prince was originally Trinimac before he was tricked into being eaten. Then Jygglag *was* the strongest Deadric Prince until the others teamed up against him and separated him into Sheogorath. Now Sheogorath is the strongest, he defeated 4 Deadric Prince's in there own game and when he challenge the Tribunal even though they stopped the meotorite he threw at Vivec. In the long run he knew it would destroy the mountain. He just waited until Vivec lost his power and it crashed down. Not to mention if it took 12 Deadra to beat Jygglag. That means Jygglag is worth atleast 12 Deadra at full power, with Sheogorath bring half, they should both be equal 6. In a way Sheogorath kind of proved this by beating 4 other Deadric Prince's and the power of influence and Dreadric games is a true contest of power despite what it seems to mortals. Clavicus is actually one of the weakest that's been confirmed, and Nocturnal isn't that powerful either you have a strong biased for her but she hasn't done anything to impressive at all.
But is intellect and cunning not the ultimate form of power? An elephant may be dozens of times more physically intimidating than any human, but with the right tools and preparation it can be brought by one man.
A mental defeat from Deadra. Means alot more in terms of power for a Deadra spear then mortal perception. For Sheogorath to do that, explains that he was in fact more powerful then them.
Azura was always my favorite Daedric Prince. Morrowind is my favorite game of all time, and she acts a bit like a guardian, helping guide you along the path. Since Morrowind was also my first Elder Scrolls game, she was the first Daedra that I really interacted with, furthering my love of her. She seems to be the most compassionate of the Daedra as well, which is nice.
@Admiral Firmus Piett we don't know if Lorkhan is actually a Daedric Prince or not, and Peryite, Malacath, and Hircine at least are arguably three of the top five weakest Daedric Princes along with Namira and maybe Sanguine lmao Peryite especially is weak as fuck

I think it's pretty amazing that sheogorath bugs bunny'd his way into beating every single daedric prince INCLUDING HIMSELF somehow. I mean, it is the 16 accords of madness, not 15. Unless it's talking about jyggalag but sheogorath beating himself at his own game sounds like the most sheogorath-y thing to do ever. Lol.
Strawberry Flavored Bleach lol that's actually great
“Do you get to the cloud district very often, oh what am I saying? Of course you don’t.”
ACTUALLY I DO GET THERE OFTEN NAZEEM.
While I can go in the Jarl's bedroom in the middle of the night, steal his knickers, and all the guards say is "HAIL COMPANION"
I have now made it my goal to eat Nazeem. Eat him and turn him into perks!

Very true, OCD madness.

Social Account Nah, no one would respect Hircine for getting fucked up by a mortal.
Don't forget Daggerfall where Sheogorath helps you recover the Mantella
@@revolverocelot1380 The various races have always worshipped the same pantheon, just by different names. For example, Lorkhan is called Shor by Nords, Sep by Yokudans, Lorkhaj by Khajiit, etc.

Yamete Mora-san!
Jyggalag no contest, let himself lose to be free of the combined curse of the other Daedra. Even in-universe confirms he's the strongest.
por que los dos?
Good choice. And it's correct
The thalmor, jyggalag and the dwemer are 3 things I'd love to be heavily involved in TES6
Let’s hope the Dwemer make a return. Also TES6 might take place during the Second Great War between the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire.

i'll drink bleach mixed with sea water, don't worry guys
NO need to apologize for a good pun.
so.. u dead now?
Slade Wilson love this 😂
Austin the Dragonborn We don't actually have any confirmed lore on Jyggalag's current state.
Austin the Dragonborn dagon is still recovering from getting grilled by Akatosh, Vaemina or Bal are likely the most powerful at the moment assuming Bal has recovered from the ESO
i thought they said Azura took no part in killing of jyggalagg?
*insert triple drum hit* Restoring Order
I think you forgot to mentioned Boetiah. She had the Power to turn Malacath, who was at first an Aedra, into a Daedra and all his Followship into Orks
She pooped him out 😳

Wrong! The atronach stone is the most powerful
Obviously, it's not even a contest if we count the atronach stone.
but... i like the lord stone
Mr. G The fallen God the lord stone struck down by the atronach stone many years ago.
Actually by that Logic, the Mage Herself would be the most powerful, since The Mage controls The Atronach (Can summon and control thousands of Atronachs at her whim)
SirJakobos but the magic resistance is a must for any daedra
I was so bummed that Jyggalag wasnt in Skyrim you have no idea
Propably not yet. I hope he will be in elder scrolls 6
Maybe, but i doubt that, since Nirn is quite orderly by his standards (since it was created by Anu alinged spirtis), which means it doesn't require/need his proding or his knights of order.
@Tic Tac ohh but he will be known that's for sure the time he gains his full power again in 3 kalpas or so the mortals will know
He's in a mod called VIGILANT and you can reclaim his sword for your own use again.
Then why'd he lose
Who Knows All the prince's combined efforts to essentially turn him into sheogorath, with him returning to his original form to wreak havoc on shivering isles every greymarch
Cory Trapkins I know that which is why I'm wondering why Xanadu-King is saying "Not even the armies of Oblivion could match the order and power of the armies of Jyggalag" when that is literally what they did
Who Knows I think he meant Mehrunes' army of Oblivion. They don't say what his realm is called in Oblivion, I don't think. They just call it "Oblivion"
+Who Knows
All of them combined, +their princes.
@Grungus Khan id say in terms of danger he’s number 2
With 1 being jyggy (when he comes back)/ sheo as he inherited powers from jyggy
@Grungus Khan but that’s true jyggs concept of knowing all
Would mean he would know he would’ve been backstabbed and would probably drive him insane
+ sheo is just derived of his power
Rn jyggy is weak he lost all of his power
But soon he is gonna regain them making once more the absolute strongest
@Grungus Khan also now that I’m think about it wouldn’t jyggy be more of the god of knowledge if he was all knowing and can create these fate books?
@@manuelmoralez2257 no jyggy made accurate predictions through calculations and facts and only told what will happen. Mora collects everything whether or not it is true. Jyggy is linear while Mora is a curvy line. Mora hoards knowledge linked to destiny which Jyggy doesn't believe in
@@grunguskhan1335 And now with TESO we learned of a new Daedroth Prince, thus elevating the number of spokes to an even 9, totaling to 18 Princes....
I think in the next game, we should meet Jyggalyg and, him still being weak, asks us for help, as an option to shepgorath's quest or his own quest.
Or maybe he will be part of the main questline involving the thalmor, he could be their new boss.
Then use their power to be a huge d bag.
well you cannot destroy dadera they are completely immortal you could weaken them though
Wolves600Gaming not destroy as in kill, more like absorb I guess?
One thing about Nocturnal is that the curse she put on her Cowl needed the power of a freaking Elder Scrolls to be erased
If that is not a demonstration of power, then I don't know what you need
LeSingeAffame Its not about artefact's its about deadra
*"...the curse she put on her Cowl..."*
Seth Rios thank you!
Hircine is my favorite he’s kinda just chillin in the corner doing arts & crafts with animals and making the other creatures kill each other
And also messing around with some snow tribesmen in one random small island
Nocturnal is still the best, she has those large and perfectly shaped eyes. Luv that stuff
I never actually read her dialogue; too much eye contact😏
jyggalag was the strongest but the other princes feared his order and power. They cursed him and turned him mad. This turned him into sheogorath and an accidental prince.
Roleplay Enthusiast does sheogorayth have all the power of the other
Vinny Critzer Sheo does have the same amount of raw power, and is still incredibly powerful, but his madness just can't stand up to the cold order, planning and calculations of future events of Jyggalag.
Sheogorath wasn't an accidental prince, they made him quite delibrately. I'm sure if they could have made him weaker than a prince they would have,
Mehrumes Dagon, technically. He is the Daedra of *Change.* (And he's got 4 arms - _do you even lift bro?!_ )
_Everything_ changes....
Meh.. He's weak, he can't even defeat akatosh despite all of this lifting in oblivion
Yeah but to win a war you need to have order, the order wins and stops wars and Jygalagg is order. Also his Sword is cool af in comparison to that generic deadric Axe that Merhunes Dagon used.
M'aiq is strongest.
Maiq have lot of interesting things
Agreed comrade
Liar!
Before i watch ill call it and say Sheogorath
Actually Jyggalag is stated to be stronger, that's why the daedric princes turned him into 1st sheogorath.
@@fabrypetty1689 But since Sheogorath is merely a shard of his soul, the original Jyggalag is stronger.
@Alika Fifi arafiah they aren't, you coudl say that Jygalagg was stopped because he was becoming stronger than Sithis itself considering he was ruling the order of all creation.
@TheHonestDutch/Irish/Italian guy He definitely is the most powerful.
I think Sheogorath is the most powerful by far, but his insanity prevents him from actually achieving much of anything.
For sure agreed. When he was jygalag he was apparently the most powerful, shows how good he was, and how much potential he has.

inherently, Herma Mora is the hoarder of power.
Boethia would disagree.

When I think about it, I would love to have Elder Scrolls 6 be about Vivec and the final days of his life!
well he did bite of molag bals cock and used it as a weapon had intercourse with him anumber of times hmm.... interesting
vivec was either killed by the nerevarine, or disapeared/died after the effects of the heart of lorkhan wore off, if they showed what happend they would have to force the choice of killing him in morrwind to be canon or not which is something they usually try to avoid
Tyler W. He was around during the Oblivion crisis, but then dissapered, probably fucked off to Atherius to chill out with his CHIM buddy Talos

The_Drop Bear Talos and Vivec would never get along.....way too much racial tension
It took all the other daedra to turn Jygglag into Sheogorath to stop him from invading all the other planes of oblivion. He has to be the strongest
I have a theory: I think that Maiq the Liar may be a Deadric Prince!
What if he is one of Hermaeus Mora's followers who was granted knowledge and immortality? Just a theory.
fishlove69 It's a gift with a catch. You have immense amounts of knowledge, but no one believes what you tell them! Hence the word "Liar" in his name! :)
Hickory Chicory the Cassandra complex?

Maiq is not immortal if u believe it when he says Maiq's father was also named Maiq
I hope they put cold harbor in elder scrolls VI
it's in ESO. as is Lyg.
I want quagmire
Cold harbor is in the mod for skyrim special addition, the gray cowl of nocturnal. The voice acting for the mod is mehhhh... but I feel it's essential for any thief play through. Pretty awesome
lol edition*
Number one being manipulating those that naturally fear daedra and undead
Sheogorath is so powerful that even though the combined strength of the princes was used to seal Jygg, they actually created something worse.
1. Jyggalygg
2. Hermaeus Mora
3. Mehrunes Dagon/Molag Bal
In my kind of uneducated opinion.
InsayneDaRoss sheogorath is the strongest all the rest of the daedric princes fear sheogorath because of what can do
Hermaeus mora is only dangerous to mortals and he created nothing he uses mortal to make his will
I would put Sheogorath instead of Mora, but other than that I agree with you.
I think sheo is too hyped tbh. I agree with this list, though I'd move three and two.
DeAngelo Ellis the Daedra dear Jygglag, so they made him into Sheogorath.
Jgyallag has the same amount of power as Sheogorath, but he is stronger overall as he is able to predict every event that is going to happen and has one of if not the strongest army

Skulduggery Pleasant So u think that Molag Bal's invasion on Tamriel is not canon too?

Also, you forgot the evilest and most powerful Daedra of all: H'owaard the Todd!

Vaermina’s plain of oblivion summed up in one word...
Giggety
Hermaeus Mora is the Batman of the Daedric Princes. He doesn't have any powers, but he is intelligent enough to be quite formidable. His brain is his power.
I wonder if it was his idea to have Jygg nerfed, in the first place, he must´ve been the one to devise the curse used with the other lords at least.
Not quite, based on video - he only collects knowledge as he doesn't create anything himself - or he can't
Team Jyggalag, took all the princes to bring him down. He is rebuilding. waiting and the lord of order will return.
When sheogorath starts making sense, that’s when you know it’s time to get some alcohol
Jyggalag since this was the reason he was cursed but Sheogorath could also count since he defeated many of his fellow Princes thanks to his wits.
Agent Smith jyggalagg was sheogorath
DeAngelo Ellis isn't anymore though, which means he's free to scare the rest of the daedra again
So... basically... the hero of Kvatch is the most powerful daedric prince of all? That's really cool actually. Anyway, you said something about his mantle taking over or something. Does that explain why my Argonian Sheogorath is a Nord in Skyrim?
Mateusz Bazydło The canon hero of Kvatch is an Imperial, this explains why he is a human. I think him being a Breton in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was for aesthetic reasons, not necessarily canon reasons. Hope I helped! :)
Mateusz Bazydło Well sort of. The canon race of each of the
game's protagonist (the player) usually matches the province
the game takes place in. Dunmer for morrowind, imperial
for oblivion, nord for skyrim. Being able to choose any race
is just a noncanonical gameplay feature for player convenience.
That is why in oblivion the mage's guild quest where some guy
sends you to pick up a super heavy magic ring to try and trick
you into drowning in a well is the same for all characters,
including argonians. It is also why you don't have to be
a khajit in order to eat moonsugar. However, Sheogorath
having the ability to appear in any form he desires also applies.
As for how mantling works, think of it this way:
Greater spirits have certain roles to play in the universe
of elder scrolls, each role being part of the cosmic balance.
If a being leaves that role for any reason, the universe
will find a replacement to refill the empty position.
Talos the ninth divine came to be when three different
mortal beings filled the place by Shor/Lorkhan.
In other words, when Jyggalg left the iles he knew the
universe needed a new sheogorath to fill the necessary
amount of chaos needed to maintain universal balance,
so the universe transformed the champion of cyrodiil into
sheogorath, as they were the most qualified replacement.
I always assumed you were just a steward for sheogorath and he would return.
timemadscientist Greatscot! Player race actually is canon by virtue of C0DA

But the shivering Isles expansion in Oblivion is about freeing Jyggalag eternally.

He tricked them, he didn't actually fight them.

@@STANKYCHEEZEMAYNE I like Peryite. Because, despite being a god of plague abc disease, he's not really evil. He creates said diseases for the sake of order
Also, Sheogorath managed to keep a gate to Oblivion open, even when Martin smashed the amulet of kings, which should have in theory closed it down.
i think either hermaeus mora or sheogorath
sheogorath counter part jyggalag hey was so powerful the others cursed him to madness
christopher box I definitely think Sheogorath
i love sheogorath, but hermaeus mora is the one with 'KNAWLADGE' (had to do it :D). but seriously hermaeus knows the future he will know what sheogorath will do if sheogorath isn't so random that you cant know what he will be doing while you know the future.
madness Sheogorath was turned into the Prince of Madness by the other Prince's because he was a literal threat to the other Daedric Prince's
madness even as the Prince of Madness if he can collect his own thoughts long enough he would be a major threat to the others
Hermaeus even taught Xarxes(an Aedra, scribe of Auriel) some forbidden knowledge and wrote the book Oghma Infinium.
I'm 4 years late but you glided over molag bal real quick.
Lol.
