Thank god I am a manga reader but even then It's like I got sick. Now this is the situation with me as a manga reader imagine the anime viewers. It tkes away the value or we can say the shock value of the plot. Nothing would feel good for anime viewers anymore. Like for everyone, you wont have the same excitement, energy you had for a series get washed away for a spoiler you are not even responsible for. Drifting from leaks for a bit. Even the spoilers regarding newly released chapters. There should be sometype of system where people are protected from spoilers they are not even responsible for. Edit : Its not only the leaks but the youtube thumbnails too, Many channels which I am not even following or subscribed to are popping with the spoilers in the both Thumbnail and title like what.

My friend looked at 3 whole TikTok’s and 2 of them were the leaks. If I hadn’t gotten spoiled to the point where I was caught up, I’d be LIVID. I had to warn some of my anime only friends to just fully stay off the internet because of this.

On twitter I got these JJK spoilers: -Toji's death -Nobara's death -Nanami's death -The brain thing inside of Geto -Mahito's death -Plot twist, Nobara is alive? -Yuji being Choso's brother/the brain thing being Yuji's mother -Gojo's 'death' (We don't know for a fact yet) I've basically read the entire manga at this point lol. If I had more investment in JJK than I do right now I would rage quit. Can you imagine getting spoiled on that amount of stuff for any other manga/anime, Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan etc, I wouldn't and couldn't love those two as much as I do.

It won't stop. Most of the leakers are also working with scanlations. Sometimes leaks come from scanlation. In time, someone will take the place of the leakers to the public. Wether it will be like Yonkou or Organic Dinosaur was, or small time leaker. Imagine you're in a team of scanlations, you're tasked to clean certain pages. There's incentive and people who will pay just for a glimpse. Back when SnK manga was ongoing, there was even thumbnail leaks, cause the leaker are being careful not to jeopardize his/her team, they screenshotted the folder with the image thumbnails in it. It's just nature of the scanlations and the online people in the know to get those pages early as the manga is distributed all across Japan. Why are they distributed before their release date? Because they are released on the same day all across Japan. Obviously, more remote region got earlier access on the manga. This is the hole in the system. There are 'runners' whose job are to collect and pay, either store owner or truck driver, or anyone that can get these manga first hand.
So scanlation is a problem. I will take the example of jump, the official release is Sunday because the jump is out on Monday in japan. We have the whole jump, Officially, at midnight in Japan so when most of Japan readers are asleep. OFFICIALLY, we can read the manga before it's physically out in Japan. Every content we got before that is something stolen from the Jump and the authors
@@Pixachuu well, it is piracy. However, if I bring SnK here, there was 2 large scanlations group translating SnK when it came out every month, and also the official translation. I like having three different translations... Some of the subtitling for the anime actually sucks compared to all the nuance I take from different manga translations. AFAIK Jujutsu Kaisen only have one group translating it, so we got 2 different translations with the official from mangaplus. Both have it plus and minus. I like that I have more context.
@@kintokisa if the case is the context, they should put it out after or at least at the same time at the official release. That way the author would have all of those who just want to have it first going on the official app and it would be better for them. It would also be better in general, with manga plus we have a lot of shonen that wouldn't have been out of Japan now. If the majority of the people use that kind of service maybe other magazine would do the same

It's not an argument anymore. Also, it's even the same. A week exactly between two chapters. It would only be a week of wait and after that return as usual. At least if it was confidential, on discord and some website, but they are vocal everywhere and take pleasure to participate in the spoil of anime only and official release fans. Come on, they even spoil japanese fans. Moreover, "the masses" isn't a good argument, the masses are sometime wrong, they can be egoistic and it's a masses phenomenon that encourage the leaks to begin with. I understand that you just writing what is happening and don't take part in this, but this is hard with our situation to not criticize the decision of the scanlation teams as a fan of the work of those countless authors.

It doesnt matter if you like him or not, the fact is that this character has a an EXTREME impact on the story, and if you get spoiled about whats gonna happen you just lose the reason to read the gojo vs sukuna fight AT ALL since you know sukuna wins.
