I actually read this because of all the hype and I'm actually into it. Reminds me of Sweeney Todd. The main characters are not meant to be heroes, they aren't supposed to be someone you emulate and that's okay. I dont want every story I read to be about a moral paragon. But like Sweeney Todd it makes for an interesting story that you're always curious to see how it develops and yeah, by the end I'm sure things are gonna go pretty bad for them.

This season was such a bummer.... 16 episodes to finally see a measly 1 on 1 fight... just to watch Thorfinn scream and cry and have nightmares every.single.episode. Where is all the conquering, fighting and battles that made season 1 decent? This turned into a soap box Lifetime movie... so disappointed and makes old Nordic warriors seem like they need a comfort hug. Luckily its easy to skip through when watching online because no way i could sit through every single second of every episode. An entire season dedicated to farming and a couple slaves LOL. Sorry wish i could agree with you

It’s just… boring. FarmVille half the season. I love anime and liked parts of this show but it was very difficult to get thru a lot of it. Felt like I was getting hit over and over with the “war is bad” trope.

Great video. Def deserves more than 2000 views. As to what made me fall in love with fire force initially might seem super superficial but it was honestly the art style and art. I just love the ideas and the art Ohkubo got going for him.

Really interesting first chapter, did an amazing job of getting me into the story and the characters. Though gotta say - this isn't even close to the craziest first manga chapter I've ever read. When I saw the title I was thinking of many, many things but this chapter was suprisingly tame. It's just a great start to a weird but interesting story.

4:44 you said the main character set her boss on fire but he was set on fire because he was trying to light a cigarette. you also talked about her not doing anything even though there isn't anything she really can do in that situation (the panels show he burned in seconds).
