Hi Soty, thank you so much for discussing this topic. I have seen this happen. The sad thing is, some women are so burdened that they don't even know they are being abused! My cousin works in a small clinic in the Caribbean. She said some women are only allowed out once a week for food shopping, which is when they SNEAK to the clinic for Family planning. some are mothers of 10! Fortunately the service is free, which I guess may not be the case for the woman you discussed. She is in a very unfortunate position of being forced to conceive and having no money or support. I hope she gets the help she needs.

This is why i will always say that education and financial empowerment is a must for women especially if you want to get married. Also ,reproductive health care for women is a must; family planning, contraceptives and even abortion when its necessary for women. Women must also understand that they have bodily autonomy too. Stories like this are so heartbreaking

There’s one woman in my church, she’s pregnant every time like every year 😫 and she works at a pharmacy oh😮 and not to talk down on anybody but they’re not financially stable , you need to see how they drag the children to church under that Sunday morning sun 😢 I feel so bad for those children. Thanks for this video I didn’t even know it was a thing

Wow!! It’s even more common that we think. May women wake and realize what they’re doing to the children in the future.

Nice video sotee. I watch ur videos but this is my first time of commenting. And just to add, a freaking wealthy woman won't have 6children back to back. She knows how important it is for her to make more money. And to be honest most times it is the women that put themselves under this very harsh conditions with the hope that when the children grow up,the children will take care of them.

Family planning should be talked about more especially in rural areas as a lot of women honestly don’t know how to go about it or even afford it.

This is a very dangerous situation for her and those children. She is one bad day away from harming herself and those children.
Unfortunately this is also a cultural matter because in some cultures contraception is not allowed by the husband. And women aren't allowed to speak up for themselves.
    Hope she gets some help.

I’m sorry, but the lady has to take accountability for her part in this. Even if her husband doesn’t “wrap it up”, she should know what to do as a woman to avoid pregnancy. 🤷🏾‍♀️

    • @MsOrganicBlack

I’m not against being fruitful and multiplying, so I don’t think it’s advisable to say all women who born back to back are struggling. However, Nigeria has to work on their healthcare being more inclusive and accessible, majority of Nigerians can not afford healthcare, and that’s such a shame coming from a demographic of people who want to become doctors and nurses. But who are you going to nurse or doctor, if the people you are going to “care for “ can’t afford it so it’s just the title they want. I think men who do this, are down right evil. And I don’t blame the women, why? If you resist sex, 9/10 there will be hostility and that’s just point blank period. Yes, it takes to tango, but if I can’t say no and there won’t be abuse i.e passive aggressiveness, lack of support, weaponized incompetence in the regards of family responsibilities, or financial support, then it’s only one tangoing here. And this goes for women who are financially stable too, it’s an attack on women.
