If anyone want to get 100 dex and 100 marksman here is my oldschool trick. Start IMP with those stats at 35. Hire any mercenary and start a mission. Kill everyone in Omerta, than loot throwing knife that is on the ground somewhere on that level. Then remove weapon from weapon slot on your AIM merc, stand in front of window, get your IMP inside that building and stand in front of window (the other side of your AIM merc). Now keep throwing knife and aim at the other merc. Throwing knife will hit glass but wont break it. Keep doing this and you will have 100 dex and 100 marksman in 15 minutes. :)
Punching cows/crows. Mayby Alien queen, but did not try it. You can also hire Fidel and keep boosting your explosives, he has C-1. So keep arming and disarming it. If you pack it trick mentioned in my first post your IMP will lvl up quite bit in Omerta. ps. I always make auto weapons expert coupled with psycho personality.@@berkehankura8803
There are a few sectors where there are cows on farms. I used to transport my mercs around, then one merc finds the cows, beats them to critical, provides first aid, hence increasing strength and med skills. After like 2 days the cows are healthy again. For the agility, the best opportunity to improve was when I went down the mine to kill the bugs. There are the adult and dangerous ones but at some point you reach an area where there are harmless larvaes or what. There I removed all weapons from the hands of my mercs (to avoid accidental shooting) and started running up and down in stealth mode.
the tigers were new to me to boost the skills... i knew the mines (mostly used to bring it to 99 because on the higher level it also increases wisdom) and i used quicksave and quickload to use throwing knives to kill enemies without disabling realtime modus or activate alarms, there is a chance of one shot kills with throwing knives and it will also increase dexterity and agility due to sneaking over time
For grinding explosives, have your character positioned where the "yes" button pops up for the disarm mine question (to eliminate the need to move your mouse), be kneeling and you are MUCH more efficient. IIRC, it is a right click (select mine), left click (plant mine), Control+left click then left click "yes" (dig up mine - repeat if you fail), rinse and repeat.

@@Przem112207 That's just nonsense and impossible even with 100 stats in everything, perfect gear and infinite bullets. Unless you plant explosives everywhere first, but then you circumvented the point which is that stat whoring is fun and great, which it is not.

It is somewhat possible. JA2 +1.13. You can manually change values on some files and you also have the INI.Editor. SO...go to Data 1.13 and edit the JA2 Skills document. Assign 9 skill slots to IMP.s. 5 or 6 of them major skills. 1.13 mods also allow you to create anywhere from 6 to 11 IMP's. Let's say, you can make a Sniper, Ranger, Engineer with Stealthy, Night Ops and Scouting. You still have 9 or 10 more IMP's to create. I leave the rest to your imagination. This is not cheating. You are outnumbered thousands to one and outgunned. Having a little edge, even if they are lvl 1's, can help keep your soldiers alive until they gain experience. Most mercs can have 3 skills total, 2-3 of them have 4 at best. 3 is slightly stingy, leaves a lot to be desired, at least 4 would have been better, I like to make 4 jacks of many trades, one per squad of 8 and i'm happy, they compliment whatever shortages the squad may have.
Yeah, I know about editing skills_settings.ini. No, it's not cheating. Manipulating files before starting a game is called tweaking or customizing. But Manipulating files in the middle of a game is cheating. And we are talking single player.

The enemy numbers in the 1000's and even without the Deidranna has unlimited soldiers option, she can always create new ones as long as she has even one mine still under her rule.So i save, save, save. That's what the saves are for. It's very frustrating to work hard so my mercs raise their skills, only to see them die because a single stun grenade cause all of the squad's explosives to go boom. You can actually raise any skill to a 100 in Table Data -> Merc Profiles but where's the fun in that ? I like them to work for their benefits. I have only 32 soldiers and try to keep them alive. I don't like cheating but sometimes, very rarely, in single player games, i may like to bend the rules a little, in order to avoid frustration. However, your video's title is about jack of all trades but your guy is training skills. A Jack of a few trades is what i described above when assigning up to 9 traits to IMP's. 1.13 allows up to 10 traits for IMP's in the Skills.ini. Check it out. That's why i don't consider it cheating.
it is fun to watch if you can add stats this way once from other's video, but it is too boring to play everyone with those stats, the game should have had the limit to this. i only carry a crowbar and not a lockpick to add 3~4 strengths to 2 mercs

Placing TNT+timer instead mines will increase your wisdom. Replace TNT with Merc with high ecp and place till 65 exp with your main character

I just train all my mercs to 80 over 2-3 months lol.

I managed to improve agility be letting me merc go backwards in stealth mod during the fight.
