I'm stumped haha Mercedes was not on my bingo card for leading a practice session. I'm still only locked on Max for now, with TSU and ALB likely as well
One point I’m thinking about regarding Checo : I get it that he’s been good early in the season. Especially last year, but let’s remember the car was not particularly set to Max’s preferences yet, but… I think the RB20 already is. Just food for thought. Thanks as always for the content Rob!
Fair point Mike. Perez still did look solid in testing (despite his one scare). I still don't think I am going to own Checo (the closest I'll get to owning him at this race is via the constructor), but I think I would want him in my team if I was running a no-Max lineup!
This is my first year getting into F1 fantasy. I watched your previous video going over how it works and that definitely helped set up my team for this first race. Fingers crossed to get some points! Good luck this season!
Hello Rob, Welcome to the kickoff weekend for new season. Points Transfers etc are always there but one of the events I am interested to know this season is how many times in-between raceweeks does F1 make me login (load website) to check price rises/falls [I haven't seen rule for price changes].
@@f1fantasyhub the similar to last one.. I don’t like it. The caos in pricing made it interesting earlier but now i wont be checking the team anytime before Qualifying/Sprint. Thank you for the content.
I'm trying all the options. Apart from the two you mentioned I'm still thinking about Verstappen, Perez with Ferrari and RB, the rest can be completed decently, but there's no money left for possible changes. I think that Ferrari will increase its price more than Redbull, so I´d like to lock it early. What do you think?
If you want to get Perez, you may as well get Red Bull constructor instead because you're getting Perez ($20m) points from the constructor ($27m), plus Max points as well (for an extra $7m). I'm not sure if my math is clear, but it doesn't make sense to get Max and Checo as opposed to Max and the constructor
I really like Alonso!! He's a very reliable asset and looked excellent through the first two FP sessions. If you can squeeze him in, he's a great one to own. I just don't think I can make room for him in my Bahrain team!
All three teams score points. Your first team is automatically entered in the global league, but you can choose to enter other teams into other mini leagues that you join
What are your thoughts after FP1 and FP2? Mercedes and Ferrari look good😊 - Perez looks consistently slower then Max. I am more and more convinced, that the premium constructor double up (Max, Merc, Ferrari team) could be a really good pick.
I'm completely new to this fantasy format (and F1 really). why are you leaving that much money in the bank? would it not be better upgrading one of your other 4 drivers? any advice for complete beginners are welcome, literally just now signed up to the platform
HELP! My first year playing and I had a team made and joined a league a couple days ago, now after watching practice my team is gone? And I can’t make a new one, I just get a “Something went wrong” banner over the screen? What can I do?
First time doing F1 Fantasy, I feel like I've managed my money well but not to sure, Norris, Hamilton, Leclerc, Ricciardo, Bottas RB (Visa), Aston Martin. I Haven't payed to much attention to pre season testing but will most likely make some changes before the deadline.
I’m actually catching up on the first two free practice sessions now 😅 haven’t had time to watch them today. But Mercedes were certainly a shock, going off the timing charts! Tune into the deadline stream over on FanAmp, right before quali, to get my final take on it
Good luck for the season, Rob!
You too, Tom! You’ve got a target on your back with that incredible rank from last season 🙌🏼🙌🏼
just finished watching FP2. now what do we do...? 😆

I’m feeling the max Ferrari and Mercedes team I really think that team could get off to a really good week one
I believe the data is 40% 2023, 60% Testing maybe? Don't quote me on that!
That’s right yeah - I still think it’s quite conservative on VRB and Albon

My top 10 prediction for the race:
1. VER
2. PER
3. LEC
4. NOR
5. PIA
6. HAM
7. RUS
8. SAI
9. ALO
10. TSU
Love it! I’ve got Max on the top step. I think Leclerc and Checo are also excellent shouts for a podium
@@f1fantasyhub love the vids btw! Also great of you to keep responding to every comment :)
@@larsvandewouw55I try my best to respond to as many as possible - glad you enjoy the vids!
Good luck everyone

Prices don’t change during the week - they only change once every week once the Grand Prix concludes

With respect to the RIC/ALB points seeming low at 4+

@@f1fantasyhubI see your point. I just tried to force Ferrari as a constructor in my line up.
"Adrian Newey with a wind tunnel in his brain" 😂
Hahaha glad you appreciated that one great man
Hi Rob, any chance you could throw in some options assuming no Max lineups? Seeing this being more popular within leagues this year! Cheers
Check out my “rating your drafts video” - I cover it there
Hi, are u doing a deadline stream?
I sure am - but not on this channel. I do it on FanAmp’s RUclips channel - link to their channel in the video description
Would you put Perez over max in one of your teams
I personally won’t be
Hey Rob, what are your thoughts on Alonso as a fantasy asset?

Hi, I'm completely new to f1 fantasy and I don't know if all your 3 teams score you points or is it just one of them?
Btw, good luck this season.
All three teams score points. Your first team is automatically entered in the global league, but you can choose to enter other teams into other mini leagues that you join
@@f1fantasyhub Thanks 👍🏼
I am new here, just wanted to ask, should we really have 3 teams? Or we can just have 1 team? Please do enlighten me.
You can have up to three but you don’t have to if you don’t want to and just run one if you want
@@f1fantasyhub Thank you so much🙏🏽
I was rank 100-something last year, but I never screenshotted. Where can I see my previous season rank?
Don’t think you can see historical ranks, sorry champ
@@f1fantasyhub thanks for the reply. That’s the silliest thing to not have in a fantasy game, wth.
Thank you for another F1 fantasy Tool season and the effort involved in doing these. Great vid so far.
Thanks for your support as always Joel!
Hi mate, thanks for the info, btw not sure if the prices will start changing with the training sessions?
They only change once a week, once the race ends

Already fkukked up and used my chips. Sucks to be a newbie :D
There’s six of them so still plenty of time to use the other five at optimal times throughout the year 👊🏼👊🏼

I’d aim for one of the premium constructors - they typically score twice as many points as drivers priced the same
How has FP2 changed your thinking, Rob? If at all.
