I like the idea that Mr V doesn't care about what a sponsors ethics, or what they sell is, he's only accepting sponsors if the logo makes a good F1 track
@@stumblingthey didn't design it they found it on some ancient pots and pretended they were made by ancient aryan supermen because they're dumbass conspiracy theorists
You could try a sort of reverse of this. "Which F1 track makes the best logo?" Not entirely sure how you'd go about that but you're pretty smart so can probably figure it out.
If the Puma logo's turns 16 to 20 were shaped like Singapore turns 1,2,3 or something a little funky, it would be the perfect track (Perfect along with Spa). It has long straights, many breaking zones, manyyy over-taking opportunities, low-speed corners, high-speed corners..... MEDIUM SPEED CORNERSSSSSSSS
Or even 2 to 8. Big breaking zone, where you gain time on the car in front by breaking well. Get early on the gas and sweep through 3. Gain time in 4 by steering smoothly, and getting the car rotated well, you'll end up right behind their gearbox, sweep through 5-6-7 and BANG, pull a Piastri in baku style divebomb. Banger track.
@@nicolajhougaard exactly. I could see 2 to 8 being a down hill, and 8 being a carrousel where it levels out on the exit. I think we need more track design that follows the topography of the land instead of just cutting it all flat
Legit the first sponsor ad that is not only embedded well within the context of the vid, but something I’ll bet a large percentage of your audience would genuinely be interested in (myself included, I mean come on, it’s a used piece of racing hardware that’s also a gigachad friendship bracelet)
I don't know much about this subject but I have to imagine there's a video game out there somewhere that let's you make your own tracks that one could use to test your results.
being completely honest, this is one of the coolest sponsors ive seen and one of the only ones tempted to make me buy something when I save up money. cool vid btw
Aramco outfield looks like someone who heard Indianapolis is basically a square and never went to check what the person actually meant and just thought "sqaures make for iconic tracks", once the public started making fun of them, they added the way over the top infield to make up for the effed up outfield haha
i really feel like the puma track might be even better if run counter-clockwise. starting the lap with the squiggles and a sepang-style snaily boi in 20-12, followed by a jeddah semi-straight, then the hairpin of 8 into accelerating sweepers and another semi-straight. the run from 2 through 1 and across the line (mb putting that closer to 20 then) gives me interlagos final corners vibes, which is only a good thing
now i'm imagining it with elevation. having the run from 8 down to 2 be downhill, followed by an uphill 1 seems, or even the reverse, havin turn 2 be the highest point of the track, would make it so juicy
I love these videos as fun little what ifs however it has to be noted how absurdly dangerous Turn 1 on the Puma-ring (I'm calling it that) is, little to no run-off area for a very fast first corner, cars going in there at over 300 km/h is a fun thought, something like copse from Silverstone, yet if anything happens the same cars will be going at the same speed, maybe even more, into those barriers with little run-off. Another thing is the 18-20 complex, it gives off Singapore sling vibes, slow, annoying, difficult, and might kill momentum going into the start-finish straight. Other than that, I still think this track is a lot of fun from both a racing and driving perspective. It's definitely the best track from all of the ones in the past videos.
the sponsor break was so cool that even you added the timestamps for us to skip i decided to watch it. Keep up the creative content, i think you will reach at least 10x your followers. -a guy from turkey
the Paramount could be a fine track if you took the circle with the cutout as the layout, and made the mountain part some landscaping feature, maybe a little lake
i love watching these and imagining you going “there’s another star right behind me isn’t there” then turning to a blank green screen💀(and for yk the content ofc)
The good thing about F1, is that I can watch every session for years, without even knowing that the driver of the day has a sponsor. Take notes indicar, this is how to not piss people of.
After you run out of logos to turn into tracks, It might be cool to see you make your dream track only using elements from the different logo inspired tracks
I’d like to see a video where you measure the distances involved if each track was scaled up in size so that a single lap equalled full race distance. Would any of the city tracks get big enough to actually house the city entirely inside the circuit?
I 100% did not run into my house whilst bursting through doors to connect my phone to the TV when I saw Mr V uploaded. Also, your sponsor segment worked on me. I couldn't get anything tho, cause they're a bit too pricy for me.
F1 Car side profiles could work, you can do it by eras. Front engine, rear engine, first aero, ground effect, crazy aero like x-wings and the Toleman mid wing, three 6-wheeled F1 cars to pick from, jet engine F1 car, phallic nosecones and anything else bizarre like the Ligier JS5 airbox.
Heres a thought - fractals. By zooming into a logo to make antrack, how much does the fractal "problem" add to the difficulty of a track, particularly ones with little fiddly slow speed corners?
Now we need a graphical designer to take every official track layout, and make it into an alternative logo, but still based on the style of the official sponsor! So an original sponsor based on a bird would still need to be bird themed... Basicly, do the exact opposite from what you did here! Could make for an interesting collab if you could find the right artist...
Mr V, now you need to go the other way around: See every current track (and any other you'd like to add) and find objects like look like them (Miami is a Crocodile, Las Vegas a Pig)
An idea (which i wrote quite late on another video, so you might have missed it); Design a street-track in every current F1 drivers birthtown, and make a tier list of which track is the best. (Of course examples like Monaco and Montreal should be a redesign and not the actual tracks).
turn 10 on the Puma Circuit is gonna send cars into the barriers when they try to take it at close to full speed, similar to a Raidillon or Parabolica, or Copse
Puma headquarters are also located in a hilly & forested region, so they'd have a hard time making it look bad with all the scenery, there would probably be lots of elevation changes. And it's in a place where there is rain. Also there's a decent chance no one is going to die during construction. But it's also in Germany, so construction would be met with years of protests, take until 2054 and noise restrictions would mean you could only race on weekdays between 8-12 am or 2-5 pm, but not during the mating season of deer or hares because we need something to shoot at once that season is over. And the teams better not even think about getting all their stuff to and from the track at night, oh no! :D
Weirdly, I’d love to see an NFL teams logos as tracks video. Since the first video every time I watch American Football I’m thinking “ooh this one could have some good corner complexes”.
Here is an idea "how good would the top 10 largest permanent track's be for a f1 grand prix" and have a tier list (ignore tracks already on the calendar
