Its sad that becoming battleshocked doesn't break completing the action it only prevents starting. The OC0 units like rippers need a substantial point cut to compensate for losing the ability to do actions, at least then they can screen deep strikes or stuff like that, or behind enemy lines/engage on all fronts that don't require actions.

I can't recall when the next points adjustment is supposed to happen, but let's hope the Tyranids units get cuts. I wanna say they've been okay about dropping points when abilities change.

I don’t play nightlords or daemons, but I do think it would have been awesome for them to get a boost with battle shock canceling in process actions

@@obsidi2 Thanks. I bet we'll be happy with the adjustments. When Abaddon, Posessed and Acursed Cultists were nerfed a little recently, they dropped the points on them.

Lots of 0OC units lost tons of value, and all the high default speed units went up in value. Battleline too.

About the 19 model units for cull the Horde. It was said in "La voz de Horus" that when these cards where shown closely to some testers it was brought up inmediately and we can expect it to be adressed in by the time the cards get officially released.

In terms of scoring and logistics, I can see a dry erase or printed score sheets where you write your scores down. As long as they're provided by the TO I can see at big tournaments that cell phones would be banned at the table. Texting the TO/judges your secret missions seems fine as well for smaller tournaments. But keeping secret missions from streamers is probably going to be the best course of action both for commentary and to keep cheating to a minimum

I don't think proactively using secondary missions or even skipping easy primary VP to be able to take a secondary mission is such a bad thing. Most of these are not super easy to do, at least for most armies.
In your example with the 98 points Tyranids, they would win by definition since secondaries cap primary points to 40. I think most of the time just scoring well on primary will be superior.
I think even for streams, having a secret mission could be fun for the viewers to try to figure out.
The only times where secondaries could be an issue is for very low scoring missions where one army can super easily cheese out a secret mission based win that doesn't have much counterplay.
I think it will be good for the game, but time will tell

I mean, I agree. I am a bit bothered by the general drop in VP from primary and secondaries potentially incentivizing secret missions.

Your opponent initials a sticky note, you write your secret mission on it, stick it to the bottom of your secret mission deck.
