Hello, Just to add a pinch of extra info to your video. One of the reason why we won as well is all the new players selection system and the prep we have put in place over the last 3 years. 1/ French team captain selection is now a tournament with the best 4 teams in France competiting each other at the end of the league season. The winning team will elect the captain 2/ Then the captain will ask other teams to submit X numbers of players that will be great fit for the WTC team 3/ then over the next season the players are tested in terms of skills, list specialty etc (a bit what you ve described in your video) 4/ in addition as now we have subscription to be part of the different league, the money is partially used to send the players to various tournaments over the world in order to get more XP and knowledge… The mix of everything listed above + your video is the main explanation of our success !
For those looking for more WTC streams to catch up on, glasshammer streamed all of team Englands games on their channel, Veizla streamed all of the swedish games (in english) and then the germans french and spannish had their dedicated streams aswell!
One correction about the Monolith from 15:38: You can only 2cp charge if the Monolith started the turn on the battlefield. You cannot use cosmic precision and then charge in the same turn. Dimensional Corridor reads: "One Necrons unit from your army that was set up on the battlefield this turn using the Eternity Gate ability of a Monolith model that started the turn on the battlefield."
From what I saw on stream Arnaud staged his monolith defensively and often used Hyperphasic Recall to save his lychguard and skorpekhs after losing models.
Came here to say this. It's all too often I see people misunderstand how the list works. Monoliths are used for positioning and keeping units safe. Very rarely to get shorter charges.
I saw they got a team league system, with 3rd, 2nd and 1st league. Then the best 4 of 1st compete again for team France lead. Then the France captain choose 30 players, make training, play against major countries and so. Solo seems a bit under in number of events. Players are good, but they are even better as a team.
Again, Primaris Crusader Squads can not scout with any of the mentioned leaders attached. The leaders do not have scout, therefore the unit can not scout.
What is important though is that they did ALL of this with a very low scoring eldar list. If they had something else , they would have had an even better score.

Yeah that's a good catch I always forget - just means you need to Ingress the Monolith or be in a position to move it into place

Imagine having Battleline units that are so good, it's actually worth bringing a list that consists almost entirely of Battleline.
