I’m south korean and I’m so happy that I was born that way. And the saddest part is, they think this is normal because they never experienced anything else, so this is the norm for them.
Edit: Ty for the likes, but I think there is some confusion here. I did not escape. Nor did my parents but my ancestors would have been VERY close to being trapped there if they hadn't fled early on.
