- In this video, I share with you how to effectively gather in black zones. Using the tips I share with you, you should be able to survive while gathering in the Outlands. This allows you to obtain and gather tier 7 and tier 8 resources. Make sure you follow the steps in this video for the best possible outcome. Survive out there!
If your hit points are reduced to zero in a black zone, you die. There is no execution mechanic in a black zone (as there is in red zones), so a player who attacks you is intent on killing you! Killing in black zones can be a profitable endeavor as you have the potential to loot the entire inventory, including the gear being worn, of the player you kill. Black zones are truly a kill-or-be-killed style of play when it comes to open-world PvP.

what ive found pretty usefull is to take the ambush skill and invis potions and when they gank you, go invisible with ambush and stand still. most of the times they walk in any direction and you just turn in the other one, dash away twice and use flee. if they get to you again you can just use an invisibilty potion and repeat
I wouldn't recommend this anymore, I'd say just get good pathing before they knock down your mount. Otherwise you're basically dead once your mount is gone. Going invisible wouldn't help that much since experienced gankers always make you they have a skill to reveal invisible players.
@@kukki2107 True. Every gankers use stalker hood and if you'll just stand they can easily reveal you from invis. At least move a little on ambush

Don't use skills that can combat lock yourself also take an undead cape with you it's gonna help you more than the back pack shorter trips but safer

New to the game and your tip about sticky traps and horses is how I was able to escape and survive my first ever would be killer in a red zone.
I didnt know the mount disappears once you get hit. Yesterday I got ganked and wondered if I am really that stupid that I accidentaly stepped away from the mount zone :D

I also suggest the 1hd spear as a weapon. Dash on E and a fast movement speed on your W.

Wear gatherer gear only when you are gathering in own terri or you have your alliance police/gankers around. If not just wear flat T4, no point losing those expensive gears when there are least insurance.
It’s worth it when you get double the resources.
This is dumb... T5 gathering gear costs like, what 50k? Lets just say 100k for the sake of argument. If you do even 1 or 2 trips of farming, you will have made your money back already, and you get like 20% extra yield/xp
Or you could rock ur own pretty cheap pvp set and strike back unless they are many, i find that i get more money doing so for sure.

Join a guild that has territory, Gather near portals or territory, Deposit little while in the territory chest so you don't risk all your inventory and not risk overweight

Because if you log off in full loot zones there is a cooldown before your character disappears, in red zone it's 1 minute, so if you alt+f4 in a red zone the enemies will still see you standing there for a full minute...
Black zones in these days are dangerous everywhere, and its impossible to harvest in peak times, because there is about two groups of gangers on road, plus roaming groups of divers roaming around the map.
All you need is an Alliance and guild area ;)

You know what's funny? I died a lot more often in black zones with horses, 250 armor on that ox really helps dawg, got ganked by double claws and it took 2 disembowels to take down the ox and then it was easy to escape when they had no damage and I had more escape abilities, more often than not, I died from people already on the ground and an archer with high damage took out my horse in a few seconds and then got cc'd to death, so meh
Boss Money yeah i agree I made like 2 million in resources with my t4 ox before my first death then I tried horse right after that and pretty much happened the same my horse got insta killed and i was ccd to death

Swiftclaws are the best....or a pest lizard.
Windwall is a bad idea because it puts you in combat which doesn't allow you to zone. Invis is a much better choice. I don't think flee is the best either...it leaves you unable to do anything for 12s afterwards.
Cleanse, Invis, Wanderlust is the standard and with these and a swiftclaw I've only died one time out gathering and it's because I got doubled feared by Morgana Raven mounts and killed by 8 claw gankers.
How long does the unzoning period last after wind wall? Couldn't you just run around on your horse while waiting? Also since they are pushed away from the wall they can't catch you especially if the wall is in a choke point so you can just get on your horse and waltz away. So in that regard wind wall seems very powerful. But maybe it won't make a difference if you get dismounted and then you have to flee on foot. However, using a wind wall and running away might get you off their screen so you could make them lose track to you so you'd have time to mount. Am I wrong?

A riding horse is really a good choice if you're starting out and can't afford a 80k silver mount.
The sticky potion is called an adhesive.
Hey so when I wear gathering gear I do not get armor gains. You want 3 more hides per 100 or gains on your set and the ability to survive even more?
gathering gear gives you awesome escape skills, before you always had to fight when there were no gathering sets and you had to wear normal armor.
3 per 100? he's wearing t7 which gives him 50% more resources. thats 50 per 100
T4 Gather gear give 15% bonus meaning 15/100 you sure you’re wearing the correct gear?
@@tae.lne3 i do not remember now. I got sick and tired of albion antics. So I play GuildWars2. Its fun ownage with no loss of gear. Pve and pvp and wvw and gvg. Zergs that cause lag just like Albion

waht if you log out before die and just log in next day
Nope, logging out in rz or bz has 60 seconds timer. You log out = 60 secs timer, You close application = your character is logged on still for 60 seconds too. In short you will still die.
in other words, in red zones and black zone, after you log out your character is still in the game standing still for 60s
They always gank in packs... Even if you manage to escape they will siege you and will chase you until you get back to a HO or city or you lay down. i was running for almost one minute, took a huge distance between them and I've tried to mount my horse. Big mistake. They reached me and got the kill. So, when I get dismount is viable mounting or just spamming dashes and runs like crazy?

Its worth to kill a camp when you see a loot box from there? Because you are wasting your skill to kill the mobs and you can get ganked when you are in cooldown. Do you get these boxes?
Those boxes only give 3-5k silver not worth
I've started playing this game again and got robbed just 10 times in blue zone. Lol. Why did i even join a faction ;~; I'll never enter other zones. Takes time to earn silver but we don't do much expenses too. So, for those who have no skill BE IN BLUE ZONE WITHOUT JOINING FACTION.
Want higher tier blue zone map. Everywhere there is ganker and there's no way new players can level up. Just imagine you're in black zone, go looted and you have zero silver. Lol.

Well staying close to my T5 armored horse helps tons. And with my normal armor set I do have escapabilities also.

question, i died running with horse lvl 4 just like you and now im using the lvl 3 ox and i dont die for 3 people because of the ox HP! if i had a horse i would die in a stun lock with 2 / 3 people! i understand that speed is important but be able to survive on the horse / ox the stun lock is more importante because if they run faster then u and they dismount to attack they a cd and they cant attack to u just switch the direction and they need to mount up again!! easy! i died only one time till now and i was using the horse!!!
your gankers had very little damage output. if you encounter some dude with like tier 7-8 claws you're probably dead.
@@tarantallegraful well i did got ganker for 4 or 5 from a guild and they did dismounted me but i had all my cds so i just dashed dashed, used immune and speed boots and i got in the portal! but the ox did saved my life because of the stun lock with claws and a chain tanker!

You can't find tier 7 - tier 8 resources in the royal zones. You have to go into black zones for any high tier resources.

Had 75% weight on my t4 ox. Was mining for the last uncommon runite ore. Suddenly 6 people came after me. ( they didnt kill me though ) one of them said "This is the patrol police. Leave now" it made me laugh quite a bit. I coulndt give 2 shits if they killed me. Atleast they had unique builds. "ThIs GaMe iS nOtHiNg lIkE rUnEscAPe" yea just like in rs 75% of the community uses the same build in pvp. Get original people ffs

@Unknown Unknown There's guilds that coordinate ambushed for mammoths and hunt the outlands. It's a bad idea and will cost you millions.

Ox will be lol because of hp and CC resis I die everytime I’m on a horse even a armored horse. Just get enough money to get a t6 ox you good takes like more then 6 hankers with claws to kill the ox
Died every time when i got in black, 5 deaths, so lets say loss was 400k probably. So we can do some basic mathematics and conclude that is not worth it. If i stay in yellow it would be 1 mil profit instead 400k minus.
How many days to earn that 1mil sir?. Im planning to farm just in the yellow zone
@@rodolfojrbermejo8708 primary way of earning silver for me is trading, but just town trading, so in same town. So, you set up buying orders, go gather while orders are fulfiled. Come back to town, set up sell orders and new buy orders, go gather again. And just repeat that, depend on time you have for game. I just do this, without gathering since i dont have time to do it, i farm my island instead and doing trading. I did premium in 5 days, approximately. Plus minus day.

All of this is pointless when being ganked by 10 ppl they’ll just chase you down and Hank you . I stopped playing Albion due to loosing too much t7 gear so often I couldn’t replace it as quick as I was loosing it.
Many recommend to use an equipment you can easily have a backup and not your biggest gear

They do. But it is mainly to get supply runs, oxes, and mammoths from other guilds. They do gate camp, but they often get killed by large guilds living in the area.
This game scams newbie ! No one told me do not bring ox to BZ!! I had decent tier 4 tools so went BZ out of my 4 trips only 1 was success , yes I took ox all 4 times, 1st time go ,gets succes , 2nd time go, one guy exit same time from portal I thought he would go elsewhere but was waiting for me ! Got ganked by 3 man, 3rd trip I got afk! 4th trip map shown red growing glow and head ☠️! I knew it's warparty or zerg or heavy clash there, but it was far side of map so didn't bother, but man on my way back to portal they came from nowhere and 8 man more just to beat me with tier 3 gears! I think on my 4th trip I was exited with dude (whose faction flag team attacked me) I think he saw me and my ox and just told whole goddamn family members that some fool (noob gatherer) has arrived😂😂 yep ! Indeed a lesson learnt but in hard way(it was hard and rage when I died with all stuff I gathered but then I heard this game motto"once u go black ,u never go back! Hope I will b success in BZ gathering and buy island from those silver!

Fish in Highbole Glen it’s a red zone and it’s like t6. Good fishing. Also the spots are close to exits

Well actually when it comes to ox you are wrong as hell. I dided numberless times on horse and with ox not even once. So much hp. Every tier 5 plus ox will do. They will try to catch you but they can only cry in sorrow.
Well seeing this now and today I died to a guy dashing to me while I was faring Hide. Thankfully I had too much stuff so I got some back only to die to a group of guys on my way back loosing all my items mounts and best armor I had

This guy is giving such bad information. If you just sit near portal grab few resources and bail. More players means more prey for hunters, which means they can be a distraction. Plus if you go to other zones alone, if they are zerging your fucked

what he’s saying is that if your inventory is full of resources and you can barely move, throw them away so you can have a chance to survive with your gears and horse. Maybe not all to not waste a lot of time but still be able to run away
