Its not just that, m.2 sata, isnt as fast as nvme m.2, and theres also u.2 nvme, nvme uses pcie lanes, sata uses the sata controller, if im not mistaken nvme is directly communicating with the cpu, theres less lag, just like how there would be less lag if you drove to someones house, rather than driving to a hub, swapping cars, and going to the house its very complex, but the cables do add a slight amount of delay but not much @DiddyBeatslol
I replaced my SATA HDD with an NVME SSD (Samsung 990 pro 4TB) and the HDD took 25 mins and 36 seconds to boot up but after the replacement with my SSD, it now takes only 2,3 seconds
Test it on two laptops with the same specs, not the different specs, because the booting times are not only affected by harddrives but also by CPU, RAM.etc
You must(not want) upgrade at least to SATA SSD(cost only around 40-60 dollar) to achieve peace of mind using your laptop, no need to be suffering from using slow HDD. If you're already using SSD, something terribly wrong with your laptop, could be faulty SSD or corrupted OS
I have asus vibobook X509JA,the variant with 1TB HDD,i5 and 10th gen.. earlier with only HDD my boot time was about 50 seconds.. now i have installed m2 NVME yesterday and now the boot time is 12 seconds😅❤❤❤❤❤❤
my 10 year old laptop (which i still use today) used to boot around like 10 minutes with sata hdd (used to be like 2 minutes when it was new) replaced it with an ssd and the performance changed significantly (boots from 10 minutes, now less than 30 seconds)
The computer on the right is stuck on a BIOS wait time screen. You need to disable that function to get a proper test and you should also use the same model and spec computer. Because configuration matters as well as BIOS version. Because different bios's can perform differently and be optimized better or worse.
Mine has HDD and boots up in 6 sec. Lol😅. It actually depends on how many programs are enabled to start on boot process too. If I had SSD it might have taken 3-4 sec only.
none. there is no suitable graphics card for that price range. Go for a secondhand gtx 1060 for around 6000-6500 INR. Youre not gonna get a decent Graphics card used or new at that price.
For testing comparisons, you should use two of the same model and spec laptop when testing. Otherwise, there's a lot of unanswered questions.
Bro, how will you find a laptop that supports nvme and msata ssd both, msata was introduced im 2008-9 whereas nvme was introduced in 2018 😅
@@icy5619it’s not m sata it’s regular sata, my laptop has 2.5ssd and nvme slot

MBR (legacy) on one machine, GPT (UEFI) on the other. The test is not fair.
Yes...right one in MBR

I'm wondering if 7 seconds is worth the extra expense?
There is much more difference in read write speed
And it doesn't always stay 7 seconds over the years of use the laptop will start to slow down
Like an iPhone 6 isn't the same brand new and in 2023 it's way slower because of continuous use the battery also degrades
@Jxst1G2Q
Yeah, I get what you're saying.
But still like me if you don't use the pc for photo shopping or you transfer files alot I only game no need to get the m.2 nvme
nah bro i dnt believe just look at bezels laptop got ::D
Average sata ssd is 600 mb/s an average m.2 is
3gb/s believe what you want haha there is some with unreal speeds you can research a little if you want
