Welcome to easy mode button mash power weaver! This is one of the best builds in Guild Wars 2 right now! It's destructive, easy and so much fun! I'm so happy with this! This benchmark was done WITHOUT infusions.

Some tips! Cast primordial stance before going into fire fire.
Cast arcane blast in fire-air. But you can just use them together!
Try and delay using your skills till before you can switch to the next attunement so you don't cancel auto attacks.
When lost and you are still learning just go back to air- air and reset from the top.

Firstly love the guides and videos you are putting out, incredibly useful and has allowed me to get back into raiding.
Secondly:
Has this build been nerfed recently? I can't seem to push past 20-23k DPS with this no matter what I try.
I have checked all attributes and I match to what the build should have.
Any advice?
I was in the same boat but then I realized a good part of the damage comes from the swapping to full elements for like 5 seconds each time I think it is. Like full air and full fire, then you get a different damage boost for a few seconds when you switch back to air. Just try focusing on the switching and focusing on hitting the attacks that deal fire. Boosted me up to 31k for now. Still learning it but that’s what I’ve found so far.

Oh boy I can finally get off temp and play weaver
I can't get above 30k DPS without infusions. I know I am making some errors with casting Primordial Stance and also not finishing my auto attack chain. My opening burst is no where near the 40k you have here. In Air Air do you only cast 3 even if 4 is on cool down? Also in Air Fire do you skip 3 if it is on cool down? Thanks!
Yes, just skip them because it helps you get your rhythm. Which is better personally for me. Do you have boons, food and conditions on the golem?

this build is great and does massive damage but I feel quite squishy, no barrier and no self boons. Is there a version or build which can do 'DECENT' DPS but have much more sustain and self buff? Doesn't have to be weaver, maybe cata or tempest does that particular job better?
Yes, it's called catalyst
Aside from jokes, if you need a bit more tankyness play fresh air which allows you to include defensive skills in your rotation at no dps cost. For example:
1) F/F => W/F 3 => A/W 4, 1 => A/A
This rotation grants you permanent cold aura which grants you 10% damage reduction and access to water magic
2) F/F => E/F 3 (2 if needed) => A/E 4, 5 (if possible) => A/A
This rotation grants you 5k barrier, stability and access to an evade skill which deals damage
I'm still trying to figure out a rotation which grants you all of these defensive skills with no impact on your dps.
hey! i just got back after a long time off, and wanted to pick up elly again. so no clue about any balance changes since your videos were put out. but are your buttonmash weaver and buttonmash tempest still just as good or any balances done, that makes them less viable? :o
Some of them got buffed so they are even better! Still just as good!

The idea of weaver scares me.. but ill give it a try!
Don't be scared! It's very easy to reach 30k dps when you remember you are just going from air to fire and back to air over and over again!
is weaver better for open world than cata?

I'm waiting to see if any adjustments will be made to cata. In it's current state it's hard to believe it will not get nerfed/changed.

Thanks for the support. For catalyst I suspect there will be some nerfs, so I'm waiting for that to take place. With any luck anet will buff cata to make it easier but nerf the top end damage.

Thank you for this guide. The barrier to entry for Weaver is massive compared to other specs. I would love to try that. Is there a similar difficulty Condi Weaver spec?

following your build, with food and all boon im not crit cap, i get around 90% is that normal ?
Yes you have a trait that gives you 10% more on any enemy that has weakness. And all your dual attacks inflict weakness.

Now if only Ele has better access to utility as other classes.
How is it much dps loss if not finish the autoattack chains?
It is a good amount, but not enough for you to worry about it, since you'll most likely not interrupt all of them. A good way to stop that from happening naturally is use all your skills together not separately.
Am I missing something about the crit chance in the build? Is it really optimal to not fully crit cap?
10% comes from the boss having weakness.

Good dps build but super squishy lol, it is not very realistic especially if you are alone and gonna raid something you'll die quickly without realizing it, it means that you lack armor and durability and your heal is not that great as well
i know the higher numbers boosts your view but i would prefer you stick with standard golem settings, large hit box is boosting the numbers unrealistically since not all bosses are large hitbox type
Sorry disagree here. Large hitbox isn't unrealistic. Largest yes. Look at the examples listed in my video. Samarog is large hitbox, conjured amalgate is larger, QTP is large, gorseval is closer to large, sloth has a 360 hit box which is very close to large. This is completely false when I'm showing literal gameplay footage of large hitboxes. This isn't tempest where the damage difference is large anyway.
As a Man of Distinguished Character, I do enjoy a good mash. [edit: but the crits!?!?]
