If it makes you feel better, when I first started out 3 years ago, I was in a store grabbing bourbons for my collection. I wanted to try a Weller and they had special reserve and a full shelf of 107 just sitting there next to it. My basket was pretty full so I decided I would only grab one of the wellers. Grabbed that green bottle and told myself maybe I’d try the red next time. Took a pic of what was on the shelf too because I was so new to bourbon and would go home and do research. Looking in my pics later on were Michters 10 year bourbon and Masters Keep BIB. All gone before I figured it out. I’ve had 107 in a bar several times and absolutely love it. Never had the chance to buy one since.
What made it so bad, is you went through the list with him in the Lincoln and he still just grabbed the Special Reserve. Haha. But great video for us. lol
It's interesting to see how state controlled releases are done in other states. Here in Ohio, its a statewide lottery a handful of times a year for an absolute immense amount of different bottles. I have only won once (Weller 12) in 5 years or so. Thank you for the chance to see how it is done where you live!
I live in Louisville & Bernheim Forest & Arboretum is basically across the highway from Heaven Hill...Named for Issac Bernheim who donated the land...also we say "Bern...highm"..
I love all the content coming out of this channel but I especially enjoy when you hit the road and do some bourbon hunting or go to these release events. Really great stuff! 👍👍🥃
Man you are lucky...I'm up in Minnesota and getting a bottle of Weller SR would be a highlight for me! I enjoy it but can never find it and I won't pay secondary prices.
My first car was a 1989 Lincoln Towncar Signature Series. It was like driving your couch down the road with a football field in front of you. They don’t make them like that anymore.
I’m a 30 min drive from Oregon and they have a liquor search website. The thing is the competition is just as fierce. Drove 1 1/2 hours for eagle rare. Closest place there was stock. Grabbed the 2 out of 3 they had. I always leave one for the next guy 😂. Just missed Blantons barrel proof 😢
I was passing thru troy just accidentally one time. Stopped at hooks. Suddenly realized a higher power was steering me to troy for Hooks and it was no mistake at all. Awesome awesome bbq
Ha Ha Ha ...I had to watch this again because the ending is so FUNNY. Its like training cats. But I feel for you Brewzle, you gave him instructions, he had a list on his phone ( I prefer a list on paper, you can access it quicker) and he said he knew the mission. Definately more training is required. But its all fun in the end.
Maggie is a beaut. Keep it real dawg. Beautiful Lincoln. Love it when people appreciate good history like you. Cruise control on that old thang! Wow lol
Brenhiem was available at Heaven Hill and it was excellent. I did the bottle experience and had to go with the 14 year Select even though preferred the taste of the Brenhiem. Good luck in your hunt for 107
I finished a bottle of Blanton’s in a mini barrel that had rose’ in it for months…… it akes Blanton’s a super great unique pour!! I posted it on facebook, cracking the seal on the horse bottle, the pour into the mini barrel….. some dudes lost their minds -lol!! But now its the most requested pour in my bourbon filled garage -lol
I wish we had these in FL. Everything is allocated here, and to get on the email list for first click first serve purchase you have to spend $1k a year at the largest retailer to be a "gold member". Can't even get Ancient Age on a shelf, and Ancient Age sucks.
I don't understand people who haven't got an ER in 6 months. Down here near Mobile it is pretty easy to get Blanton's and ER on the monthly release days. We usually have 4-6 stores within 20 miles that have product on monthly release.
Been loving the content!!! I just hit the jackpot, my wife has seen me watching your content and mentioned her grandpa had some old bottles collecting dust in the corner, saw a bottle of blantons but it went rancid unfortunately but I also found an Mitchers 10 year Rye batch 7. I got scared because the cork broke in half but whiskey was still good. Really great bottle hopefully you can review it one day, would love to see the reaction
bro i hear you on people getting the car wrong, i have a 1976 chrysler new yorker and everytime i drive it EVERY TIME some one comes by and says "oh man nice Lincoln!" ITS NOT A LINCOLN! 🤣
My dad had a Lincoln town car. My uncle had a 72 and 75. They were awesome cause I never drove it. We jumped it around 81. It only lasted 11 years yeah well could’ve been fixed.
@@TheDreadedRaider honestly I can tell it's not the best in the world and compared to Eagle Rare it's nothing but it is allot better than the bourbon I normally drink very drinkable.
Where I'm from I always see Weller Special Reserved marked up at $300 and Full Proof $350. Also a finally found a bottle of Blantons but that was marked up at $200. I could only imagine how much an Antique 107 would cost if I ever even see one.
I ended up getting some Fox and Oden Double Oaked 8-15 year blend for my birthday recently from my GF and Friend. Supposedly it's distilled from Joseph Magnus. Either way I love it and you should try it.
THE GREAT WELLER DEBACLE OF 2023! That is disappointing. I’m sorry Mr. TJ. I could tell you were upset in the car. (Friday Movie Quote) “He gonna cry I’m the car”. Hope your luck changes next time.
Take it easy on him. We all make senseless mistakes. I picked up a weller cypb over a Thomas handy last year for some reason. Yea I still haven’t figured that out!
Love you man... BUT no empathy ... I see all the fantastic bourbons on your shelf.... AND you have a half bottle of 107 on hand... Cheers brother man..
I’ve never bought a bottle of bourbon before or drank it other than wild turkey years ago. I stumbled on your channel and have watched a lot of your videos. I went to the liquor store today and bought a bottle of Knob Creek 9. First drink it was a little hot, but second one was a lot smoother. I wanted to get Buffalo Trace as I use Duke Cannon products with that in it, you should do a review on their Buffalo trace soaps/solid colognes/body wash.
I highly recommend Wheaters. They are just the toe dip into the hot tub you know what I mean? Cant go wrong with any Makers Mark as they were the first to do it!
Relaxed boozers waiting in line for whispers of the wood. I like it. Your guys' relaxedness kind of contaminates the watchers, us. BTW: there is something wrong with having a brand called "blantons" since it sounds like the word "blatant". But since they're so popular then they must be good, one figures.
You should make a Infinity bottle. I started mine 2 months ago. I got 12 different types of whiskeys/ bourbons in a Cooperstown ⚾️ bottle so far. I'm from Ftworth TX
The dudes that missed the weller 107, yet snagged green kabel...what the actual F....how do I say it nicely? They both seem like the engine is running however no ones behind the damn wheel. & Passenger seat guy was totally checked out...edit just joking! This is some stuff I would do probably on accident
What’s your top three on the paper? 1 eh Taylor single barrel(don’t have) 2 heaven hill 20 year also don’t have. 3 old forester barrel proof. What’s yours TJ?
Crazy the availability of eagle rare in London last week picked up a bottle for £35 in a Tesco supermarket only seen it a couple of times over the years but in England anything is rare😢
@@wewewe1977 whiskey is more popular by far but bourbon and rum are gaining interest I have a decent collection of all three but price and availability make it difficult sometimes 🍻
My wife and I both really enjoy your channel and the content you put out. I just have one question, We are going to Orange Beach in 2 weeks. We are coming from East Texas, do you know of any good stores we need to check out? You are always saying that you can find Eagle Rare for $35 a bottle. The cheapest I can find it within 150 miles of my house is $80 and up. Thanks

The Lincoln with the Cartier clock is an awesome old boat!
"I don't resell whiskey. I drink"
That's a man of honor here
@brewzle put that on a shirt... I'll take a E.H. Taylor :)
I make a point to drive that point home with my stores!
"That's going to be a McDonalds lunch" absolutely killed me XD
mostly because it was MACK Donalds... Love the southern accent.
I would go stand in line just to hang out with TJ. He is the life of whatever party he is at
No shit he just starts talking. Even to himself 😂
You handled that a lot better than I would 😂
That boy dumb! He reminded him 10 times..its like he knew he was gonna f it up
Reporting for duty in the comments section, as always. MAKE THESE VIDEOS PROFITABLE FELLAS.

I go on ONE vacation and miss you visiting Troy... Stop by next time through, amigo.
Four Roses single barrel is my favorite bourbon right now, if you haven’t had it, give it a try!
For only around $50, it's definitely worth it.
Ive been trying to come across a bottle of 107 here in georgia for forever and this man just passed it up, jesus take the wheel😭
My research says $250 in GA
You're a gem Brewzle, keep it up
Just got my dad a weller full proof and liquor store had a ton on tap haha gotta love socal hidden gems

My local store has three 1.75 liters of Eagle rare left for 100.00 bucks each. Been thinking of buying them so I’d be set for years.

Because it’s different everywhere
Been waiting for this video.
It's a good one
It's too bad it's so tough for these folks to get these bottles. Up north it's not that hard to find store picks of all of the buffalo trace products.
You should do a list with pictures of the labels. I may help avoid situations like this in the future.
Old foresters barrel springs rye mmmmmmmm 😢 delicious at least when I was there at the distillery
Had no idea there was such a cult following for whiskey. I personally don’t drink much but really enjoy your videos.

Could you please try some Macallan soon?:) The 18-sherry cask is my favourite
Getting some bourbon tomorrow here in Ohio , will take a picture of some antique 107 for you , Lol
Also HH20 has sunk on secondary due to the whiskey tube reviews. Doesn’t stack up to HH17. I traded mine for a Stagg, RR13 and an EHTSR.

Love love the mcm vibe in your abode!!
Whenever you’re down around Cleveland tn, check out south side spirits. They have some allocated liquors, unfortunately I didn’t get the brands/names.
Love Knob creek! I have the Knob creek rye and it’s amazing
My Dad had 76 Lincoln Continental 2 door..400 cubic inch beast
out here like... I cant even find SR in wisconsin!!!
Really enjoy your videos. Wish you the best of luck on growing your channel
23:44 Guuuyyyleee! that Weller (green) SR is only good for for making hot toddy's

That’s what happens when you send Mr magoo in 😢😅😅
Need to come to Columbus OH…. 107 Country!
Great video looks like a fun time!
The conversation starts and stops with the 1966 Coupe Deville. 👍🏻😎
Maggie needs to be on a tshirt 👌🏻
Agreed
This is hilarious out of context! 😂
The blue interior! 👌

Love the titles man love it so dramatic 😂
I love your videos they always make me laugh
I appreciate the young man helping you out but who passes up Weller 107? Rookie move! He needs a seeing eye dog next time lol
We got to teach them better lol
I was walk up spot 8 at gadsden and ended up still getting a weller sr and eagle rare

All the Joseph magnus are good!! I actually like the regular JM the best! Murray hill club and cigar blend are a tie with my palate

I like the idea of the “O” Blanton’s being the best tasting, just as everyone has the one color M&M they enjoy the most. 😂
Lmao I love green tastes the best haha
Love the content!!!!
Elijah small batch has a punch at the back end

I have a recommendation mr Brewzle. White frost Gatorade and silver montezuma tequila.

Got lucky and got an Old Forester BP Rye. I showed up at 11pm and got lucky to be 5th in walk up line in gulf shores
Also if you haven't tried the old forester yet I promise you man you should have gotten it as a backup.

it hurts so bad. did jr really go for the WSP instead of the small batch eh taylor or 107 store pick? oooof
