I usually do not do well with any type of shell pattern, but this was explained soo well it came very easy. My scarf turned out beautiful and I have had many people complimenting me on my work. Thank you for taking your time with this tutorial and your camera work was wonderful and I could see everything.

I have just started crocheting and I struggle with counting. I love making scarves and giving them to the people I love, but them being just simple, bulky double crochet scarves (no counting) was a little disappointing to me when I see so many pretty scarves out there. This tutorial was so easy for me, since I have been double crocheting anyway!! Plus you make the counting seem so simple I think with enough practice I can start to remember this pattern. I have already done 4 rows and it looks so nice! I can’t wait to have a finished scarf and surprise my great grandma this Christmas!! Thank you!! I can’t wait to browse your channel and see what else is as easy to follow as this! 💕

Thank you for the beautiful pattern. I found it easier to do a three double crochet, chain one, three double crochet instead of seven double crochets for the shell. This made it easier to do the next row. Please let me know your thoughts about altering the pattern.

True. I originally learned how to make the slip knot from an 18 year-old girl’s crochet channel; she broke everything right down and I’ve used her example of a slip knot ever since.

@@sowbhagyalakshmihl Sounds like you're familiar with basic stitches. You will conquer any pattern you like. Just do a sample and keep pausing until you're ready then using your chosen yarn begin and still use her video for as many rows needed until you can go on alone. Before you know it you can examine another artists creation and recreate it by memory. Trust in yourself. Believe me and don't give up and you'll make beautiful pieces. You'll see. 😊

Some creators show you how to work their stitch patterns but may sell the written in the drop down description box. I have yet to check this. Teaching you how is free. Giving away their patterns isn't what makes them any money and why should they? Just not the way business works. Not hard to understand or accept.
