Can I have your advice please 💖??!!! I recently heard you say that you use 2 screens while playing the Sims. Do you also use 2 different computer cabinets for this... in addition to the 2 screens??? Because I have a laptop that has the ''split screen'' option (so you can use 2 different screens on 1 computer at the same time). This allows you, for example, to watch RUclips on one side and type a letter in words on the other side. But unfortunately it only doesn't work with the sims. I would also like to play the sims on one side and be able to surf the internet or look at photos while I'm building on the other side. I would like to know how you solved this.......Or is purchasing a second computer cabinet the only option?

I remember I had friends on MSN, AIM/AOL, and Yahoo! Messenger and would need all 3 at a time to keep in touch with everyone. I only had one friend on MSN and she eventually got AOL/AIM so at some point I got it down to two lol

Your MySpace bedroom is nostalgia personified! My MySpace profile had an orange background with hot pink and green outlines for the different boxes. And falling pink hearts and green stars. My friends and I used to make our own layouts. I think one time I had one that was a black glittery background with neon colors around. I wish MySpace was still around. Nothing beats it

oh man neopets,I was obsessed with that as a teenager lol and wow myspace,i miss that. I loved being able to customize my page's background and add a music track to the page,wish they would have integrated those features into things like facebook. as to my profile in my teens it was black with neon 60s era shapes moving in and out of the background(so it hurt the eyes) and i changed the song on it regularly but it was usually something rock or metal
honestly your channel is the entire reason i found an interest in the sims. your ideas are so fun and genuinely original i never get bored and sometimes after a long shift (i work 3rd shift) it’s so nice to put on your videos and use them as background noise when i sleep it’s so fun and comforting at the same time ㅠㅠ ♡

A few things: ~since I grew up poor af, Neopets taught me about economics (I used to have the best shop and would update prices constantly to match the market, would scroll for hours buying underpriced items and reselling as well). I also got my first paying job by making people layouts and pet page layouts. ~that paved the way to me selling custom MySpace layouts (div overlay costed extra). I changed my profile once a month. I distinctly remember having a Bo Burnham theme in 2007,maybe 2008. Also recall an otter pops theme (I think it has to do with a line in a song) and many kawaii and wanderlust era div overlays. Now I just change my phone theme and banners on social media once a month.
I hope you do this again. Because there were so many websites, I came to my mind with this! Next house could have an AIM bathroom, rooms for Come Studios, LiveJournal, Xanga, Gaia Online….

My friend and his partner met on Club Penguin - they lived 1000+ miles away from each other. They dated all through high school and recently got married! They even signed on the website and sat together until the site was officially shut down. They're adorable. I love them.

I had MySpace as a kid. I stopped using it in 2009/2010 when I got into high school. I added all my friends from 9th grade yr and then stopped using by the end of the yr. My profile was always some sort of green theme to it. I remember it being left on a green/black digital theme. I also remember bebo. I didn’t have one but other kids in my class did, I just stuck with MySpace. That was more than enough for me lol. I also left it with kpop songs from 2010 on the music player and a dance compilation of Poreotics from their season of ABDC somewhere on there. Nowadays, I’m not on any social media at all other than RUclips~ I also had MyScene dolls too. I grew with them rather than regular Barbies. My best friend had them too. We used to play with Nolee, Madison and Chelsea a lot and had the dvds. I miss their website so much, I just loved making my own room ❤

Another y2k internet thing I spent way too much time on was definitely IMVU. It‘s still around, although a lot changed. I remember back then the avatars looked more cartoony, with bigger heads. I also remember there were pre-made rooms you could use publicly or privately, like a Starbucks-like café etc. The scene kids, the furries, the anime nerds… everyone who was an „outcast“ in day to day life met there. It was weird, but also kind of amazing.

We also worried about how much money we would spend on webkinz, but found consolation that at least it wasn't drugs hahahha

I can’t even think about the song Le Disko by Shiny Toy Guns without having myspace flashbacks. I don’t know why that song had me in such a chokehold during that time.
I used to change my MySpace all the time depending on what era I was in. I think the last setup was leopard print and "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga. I also used to play with those Dollz things all the time, too. Blast from the past lol
