There was one known air raid by Germany on Dublin in Ireland, which was considered accidentally deliberate. Irish dead is harder to calculate because many joined the allies, principally Britain in WWII. Despite historic animosity towards Britain, support for the Axis powers was small at the start of the war and grew smaller throughout it's duration, though the Irish leader was thought to be a Nazi sympathiser and sent condolences to Germany when Hitler died. While neutral, Ireland generally as a nation helped the Allies in small ways when it was safe to do so without threatening it's neutrality. The Irish Republican Army did attempt some actions to hamper the British war effort in Northern Ireland and reached out to Nazi Germany for support but was largely ineffectual during the war, especially as many of its members were uncomfortable with being bed fellows of the Nazis. Three IRA members were killed carrying out actions in WWII in Northern Ireland but the stats would record these as among the British dead.

@@MrSanja1985 You are wrong, Soviets killed a lot of civilians in Baltic States and Bessarabia, so even they annexed those relatively without military losses, in reality there were a lot of human losses there!
@@MrQ454 Hello Q454. I hope you are real person, not BOT. Firstly, here were are speaking about low quality of data in video, not about Soviet repressions, what is separate topic. If you have data, can you name battles or places where military or civilian casualties appeared before June 1941 as in this video. Secondly, if you want to speak 1940 year and "annexation". You have written "relatively without military losses", military losses were 0, because there were no resistance in Baltic states or Bessarabia. If you have another data place share this information when and where battle took place? Thirdly, you have written there "a lot of human losses there", what do you mean by a lot pf losses^ is it 1, 2, 3, 1000, thousand, million? As I know in Estonia there were about 10 000 displaced (not killed) persons, most of then lived many years after. Of course some of them maybe were imprisoned and executed (some of them committed many war crimes during civil war 20 years before), but exact numbers I don't know. Extrapolating this data to Latvia, Lithuania and Moldova we can get about 50-70 000 displaced (not killed) persons, most of them lived years after. Is it many? Comparing to daily life yes, comparing to casualties in WW2 or in Vietnam or in Iraq not many.
How did the Soviet Union lose so many people before Operation Barbarossa?
In a war with Finland 1939-1940, with Japan on Khalkhin Gol 1939 and Poland.
@@yurijpekun6755 according to Wikipedia, if you can trust it, Russian deaths would have only been a little over 160,000 in those three engagements.
@@woodb51 I can agree with you that the numbers seem strange. there is logic in your objection. how were they counted? maybe the wounded are attributed to the dead and withdrawn from the battlefield? perhaps all possible losses were stretched evenly over the entire period of World War II without reference to historical battles?
@@yurijpekun6755 well it’s not unusual to have disparities in statistics about war. I have noticed that some sources say the US lost less than 300,000 soldiers in WW 2 while others put the figure at about 450,000. So, who knows?
@@woodb51 With Soviets they are probably counting the famines that plagued their nation before and during ww2, which was common around the world at that time. They also sometimes count the wounded, then send them back into battle, if they are wounded again or killed, they count as another casualty.

Most were volenteers fighting in Finland
This is why i dont like War, So many innocent people become victims :(

Accuracy of the information is quite questionable. Koreans were not mobilized until the very last years of the war, and civilian casualties were not as high as hundreds of thousands.
