- 100 Russian military personnel arrived in Burkina Faso last week, and 200 more troops are expected as part of an arrangement to boost security in the country. However, there are mixed reactions to the deployment of Russian troops in the Sahel nation.

Helps them how? There’s nothing for them (or U S or EU) to gain. Who they need is other African countries/neighbors.
@@TheSeaOfAsherOne of the misconceptions is that African countries do not want to work with the west, due to history it’s understandable why we might think this way.
However, African countries may be corrupt but they aren’t stupid enough to get recolonized, China and Russia are serious partners play fair ball, you can see it through their negotiations with individual African countries.
Western countries are reluctant to make large investments that are not motivated by direct profit, they want everything to be privately owned by of course their companies. Frances domination over telecommunications in its ex colonies is a good example.
The reason why African countries turn to the east is because Western nations do not want to make a deal. An example is a railway built in Kenya which was one of the largest infrastructure projects the country had taken in the last decade. This railway, was built by China, Kenya had actually turned to western countries first, I believe it was France who was unable to reach an agreement with them. So they turned east.
Take Namibia which is a perfect example in my opinion. The country had been asking its former colonizers Germany and England for investment, not charity, since it’s independence in 1990. You wanna know what they got? A shitty deal with Germany where they send their retired over “creating jobs” building old age homes and staffing them with locals. That right there epitomizes the wests feelings towards Africa. Well it’s no surprise that China is massively increasing the level of investment in the nation, they are currently building the infrastructure of that country from the ground up, training a large professional workforce of Namibians to build their own infrastructure giving the country what it needs to exploit its own resources and develop.
It’s the west who does not want to work with Africa. African nations have always been seeking fair deals with its former colonizers since their independence. This idea of the vindictive African is a lie.
Thanks to our Russian brothers and sisters, you have been there for the continent of Africa when no one was, we will definitely repay the favor one day, because we know the west wont stop trying to destroy you, just like they doing to us
Russia is the ones sending the weapons to the terrorist organizations.
They fund them through Iran, this is part of the war in Iraq and what lead to Ghadafi being killed through Russian weapon systems and Hillary Clinton’s smear campaign.

The land needs to be protected with unity.
Local governments need to have stability in their neighborhood if they want shops to be open.
What country wants to have people with guns killing randomly.
This is not from a local desire, it’s an economic pressure established by foreign policy.
Unify your own systems to support each other for mutual benefit and you can get rid of foreign dependence.

This is a wonderful evolution that was long over due. Security and safety in Burkina Faso and Burkinabe peoples must be protected from religious extremism and terror. This crime is man made, and must be remedied by man. The good news is that is happening. Something the French couldn’t, or wouldn’t do.
