Crazy respect to Honor for this R&D honestly
You should upload more often.
It's sad this comment even exists, he used to..
😂😂😂 talk about it
Exactly
This channel is all about quality, not quantity my friend.
@dealeral-ahmar8075 Yeah, but one video every few months for that?
So many things they did on this phone. Insane, the battery has to be so thin to fit in such a slim stuff. 😮
I'd love to see how this will perform along with the other foldables from speedtest, durability test, and battery test
What Brand of folding is this Phone ?
Honor. Same as parent company of Huawei
@@sebastianvalvo4966
@@sebastianvalvo4966Honor. It used to be a subsidiary of huawei but it is not anymore
@@sebastianvalvo4966 Honor, used to be a sub brand of Huawei, was separated years ago to bypass US sanctions to HUAWEI.

Wow. So much innovation in this. Crazy.
That's some next level battery tech engineering. The folding phone to beat indeed.
Honor was a brand that kept the smartphone industry interesting , from introducing night mode to being a very tough competitor to apple and Samsung .
I really want them back in the top 3 so that apple and Samsung do something different and interesting rather than sticking to boring phones
Boring phone? What other features do you want? A weighing scale so you can check your weight on the go by stepping on it?
@@Gurenn83 good joke but I think you're missing my point , every brand is trying to refine their existing features and doesn't wanna go out of their comfort zone to try new things . For example when pop up cameras became popular , everyone tried their version of it - Oppo : find x opened the whole camera module for the front and back , did a shark fin pop up for their reno series . LG was quite good with this , lg wing , lg g5 . Moto did the same with their z series and different modules , heck even Samsung made phones with interesting features like those air gestures with the earlier versions of note , projector .
These examples are a bit exaggerated when it comes to what I'm trying to say but the point remains the same . Brands just wanna keep it simple and bland and not risk their sales . Huawei is a good example, they didn't do as much but their small innovations made huge impacts on other brands and they were forced to keep up , this kept the price competitive and other brands were trying to keep up with their version of something new
@@technoleechand where are lg phones now? They went out on a limb, took a chance on the lg wing and look how that turned out. You can’t just dump money into something hoping it’s going to stick. People want foldables, and it’s crystal clear.
@@thug foldables are just another "brands" dumping money into something to create a new category , it was successful right . I don't want brands to dump money and r&d into something big like a foldable but small things which might improve end user experience like alert sliders on OnePlus , moto actions on moto , pop up cameras were good and still I would prefer them ( and no it was not prone to failure much, maybe water resistance was compromised but still most people would take a fullscreen experience over IP 67/68 ), etc. Lg wing was a bit of a stretch ( i totally agree but they did something ) and also their phones weren't priced competitively , I remember older lg phones that had tech and sold well
Leech has to quit.
Hate to say it, but they've outpaced Samsung in terms of hardware innovation
people just forget how good Huawei phones are
本来就不错,只是他是中国生产的,而不是资本主义国家生产的
I think Samsung on purpose do it slow like Apple
Samsung no longer have a s pen inside because of this phone. (they had it inside the prototype but got astonished how thin a foldable phone could be and they are forced to redesign)
@@mariuspmSamsung has the market they should wait and perfect it
The Flip version is what I'm waiting for. Bigger battery, better cameras, full outer screen, less noticeable crease... Samsung has a lot of work to do for the Flip 6.
In addition to being a marvel when compared to the existing line of foldables, this is a great milestone for the foldable phone/tablets. Thin enough, light enough, and long lasting (I expect due to the battery size); this is a champion of foldables, most probably.
You did great review keep it up
Wow. Now that's a foldable that looks promising. 👌🏽
As someone who's wanted a folding phone since it's release, I've been waiting for one just like the Honor. Sucks Samsung didn't do it. Will wait and see what they come up with next year. I'd totally import the honor but idk about their software support and I don't even want to imagine the headache of any warranty situation
Three years later I'm still enjoying my galaxy z fold 2 and my z fold 2 is still enjoying me. You people gotta stop allowing the bells and whistles of these overhyped new device phone reviews put you in a trance....weird.
Do not underestimate Samsung this phone is good but it has limitations. Only time will say
Tbh Samsung is leagues ahead regarding it's os support and service network. This phone is only worth it if it's like half the price of the fold5 which is probably not.
One UI from Samsung is beyond this software
I love the engineering put on this phone the best so far
And here we are stuck with the galaxy fold with thickness and weight of a minecraft brick.
Wow amazing visuals and great review.. You earn our like and sub!
Wow been a while. .. Love your videos. You've been silent for some time ... Welcome back
I really wanted to u get the Magic V2 as my foldable upgrade to my 3-year-old Galaxy Fold2, but unfortunately I'm in the US and there was still no global release date confirmed by HONOR for that, so I decided to go with the OnePlus Open, which does check off a lot of the same boxes. Its definitely not quite as thin as the Magic V2, but comparing it side-by-side with my old Fold2, its definitely noticably lighter. The Open has a 20:9 outer display so, similarly to the Magic V2, its very usuable when folded; it just feels like a normal phone. It's SUCH an upgrade if you're used to a Samsung Fold to be able to comfortably use the phone when folded that there's no hesitation never to look back. I did really enjoy my Fold2 for the last 3 years, and when I got it, it was revolutionary to me to the point where now I don't know if I could ever go back to normal candybar smartphones anymore... but products like the Magic V2 and the OnePlus Open/Oppo Find N3 (they're the same phone, but you'll be getting the Oppo variant in China) can affirm that thought
Woow. Thanks for the innovation of the HONOR
This is a wait and see for me.
I consistently appreciate Phonebuff's emphasis on quality rather than quantity, although I do miss the more frequent uploads of speedtests, drop tests & battery tests.
I hope you upload more mate😭
@@walid6329 Phonebuff, not me brother 😂
😊
How does it hold up to drops compared to the z fold?
That's the perfect screen ratio and thickness when closed right there.
Hoping they’ll release it globally!
Wow. That's impressive. When the video started I was thinking "the battery is going to be tiny". 5,000mAh in a phone that thin is incredible. Bring that technology to more phones.
It doesn't have a slot for pen, cameras are a bit low on MP(rear camera is only 50 MP), also most honors have a great design and come with a cover does this one being a fold come with a cover ?
wicked! where and when can i buy it
I have this phone and it is super super good!!! Bravo China!❤
Will it be available in the U.K. and are you saying you can us an e pen with it
Can you use use 2 apps at the same time with split screen?
I love it but where can you buy it in the US?
Absolutely beautiful phone, definitely the best foldable to date. I'm far into the apple ecosystem so switching wouldn't make sense for me. Man, I really want it though.
Careful because there is better quality and this gimmicky. Samsung has better support better software better Hardware
Are google play services still baned in the us, or will this function normally now?
U r my favorite youtuber plz upload more interesting videos like this more often
Looks promising!
I have no idea why Honor keeps sponsoring global (non-Chinese) youtubers now September 2023 to show a phone that will NOT be released globally until March 2024. No one will want this by then, there will be better options right around the corner.
You are totally right. I was going to buy it but when they said next year I will buy something else
Early information for those considering to buy or change phones next year on.
@@medialcanthus9681 well same mistake as Sony, early information should be maximum one month early, not 6 months early and wait for hype to die, then no one wants to buy it anymore when it becomes available
Definitely on the right track... we need stock Google software
this will be my first foldable when it comes to Europe
I'm a heavy user of this phone. It's amazing. Lasts me a day and more upto 3 pm. RUclips calls. Always on display on. All features on. No overheating . . I had all the folds . This time I went for the V2. Instead of the fold. No regrets. Not going back. Google is missing. But there is always a work around where there is a will))
Does it work in USA Tmobile?
Silicon carbon batteries should used in all phones to allow higher capacity while remaining thin
Considering it buying coming from Huawei P30 pro. I think this is it and time to update
Just for everyone to know the Honor Purse is not a concept is a total funcional product, already started to sell today October 7 of 2023 in China, I’ll be buying one for my wife and the price is below the V2, also the hardware and specs is a bit below the V2 but the style, the uniqueness and design is beautiful and impressive. In addition the Purse is lighter and thinner than the V2. Great video by the way.
need more contents from u bro
You forgetting the Xiaomi Mi fold 2 and 3... It's normal size when closed and thinner in the market... Shame not available worldwide or I would love one... Nice review thou
When does it launch and estimate cost?
Dude thanks for the review! Will it support Google play store?
Can you buy it in Australia?
At the end of the day you still need a case on it so atleast you have a chance it won't break when you drop it.
This with one Ui would be a dream
No but with googles software
@@MagnusLevau google has horrible foldable software
LMAO one UI is a disaster
I have the flip 4, and have quickly discovered that the folding/ flip world is the future. Left the Apple ecosystem ( partially ), which for me is a massive shift. The form factor of the 4 is just too good.
Great device but few cons like no wireless charge, no ip rating and maybe no global rom
How can we buy in the US?
All talking about this and i want one i dont even bother hownmuch it is butbi just can't get it, it's one of the product that we only see on social media
Wait rewind. If you didnt watch that last segment, go finish it. They're doing what 😂
Wow thats my next phone right there!!
Finally, a foldable phone doesn't have brick look
Honor Magic V2 vs Galaxy Fold 5 please.😃
z ultra from sony damn loved that phone
I touched huawei folding phone, very slim, light and nice to hold and make me want one, very different with samsung fold 5 that feel bulky.
Will this be released in America?
Nice.
Great vid but the lack of a Google Play store kills it for me
solid phone
What type of phone is it
You need to upload more often
Amazing phone! As a long-time Apple iPhone user, I would switch if I could get this in the USA. Way ahead of the pack! As it is, I am thinking of switching to Samsung for my phone, laptop, and watch, getting tired of Apple's lack of "real" innovation. I think they are going into subscriptions rather than devices, which is sad when I think of what Apple was back in the day.
Now the Honor V Purse has the thinnest (8.6 mm folded) and lightest (214 g) foldable phone.
Nycc good super vlogging bro
Where can l buy this phone..can you put a link of a website that I can buy this phone
China 京东 不知道有没有
Finally a fold that actually keeps up with the competition in terms of battery life cause the others have either mediocre battery life or worst which is embarrassing since foldable phones are more expensive than bars phones yet bars phones still are better in a lot of things... Maybe one day they can idk include 2 batteries that can extend the life of foldable phones because we know 2 is better than one
How is playstore on this?
You can buy them in Hong Kong!
No option to use a stylus like the Samsung Folds?
Many of my friends, just bought this
So this is the exact one i was hoping samsung would make by now... but nope. Still on the fold 3 coz of them not doing anything really worth changing for. But i hope i can get this in australia 🇦🇺 soon
sounds like a battery bomb
I wish I could get my Samsung one ui on it like my s23 Ultra. I'm waiting for z fold 6
This thing got overheated after the 2nd benchmark run lol
Da phone deh bad noh Bloodclat!!😮
Honor v purse is the new thinnest folding outwards though
Galaxy Z Fold does support stylus on both the inner and outer screen. Now the S-Pen, that's a different story because it's only for the inside😊
Hoping to watch a drop test video with all foldable phone in the market. 😆
Man, I have a honest conclusion to say aloud.. This channel is soo HI QUALITY that the sub count is so hilarius and unfair..
The content is soo well stiched that only a 10M sub count can explain.. Are people bilnd nowdays??
wow. Price reasonable.
Huawei is just amazing at innovating. So thin and compact. They're the king of innovation
Only one question : how long until that giant screen gets the classical buttcrack all the foldables get? Cause that's a dealbreaker, a big one.
Plz make a proper video on the camera capabilities as well as the benchmarks .
i don't understand why people want a normal fold that unfold to a tablet that's what i like from zfold's the front screen is great for one hand use.
Nice
Honarbhas best R&D in the market. No company is close to it. Sad due to sanction, the tech is not mainstream.
Price?
I want it already
Samsung needs to do this with the zfold 6
Honor, recently, re-entered Indian market with Honor 90.
Why isn't the inner screen as bright as the outer screen?
Can't get it in the US 😢
So the question is, will this upend the market where they run it, or will it all be a show with no real world results.
I am seriously concerned why Honor is paying so much money to promote this phone and not actually selling this phone globally? It’s just so frustrating that we cannot get this awesome phone, at least not for another 6 months to a year.
They're still working on the spy-ware.
