    I remember on a Vassar Clemons instructional tape he was humming the missing third of his diad(?) violin chords. I thought that was so cool. As much as I liked Clemmons playing his instructional tape helped me very little. Way too advanced but the singing missing notes was so cool. It never occurred me playing 3 note chords on the violin itself. I'm very sub-par.

      @@violynnkuo the cool part is "FEELING" the resonation of your hum in between the two fiddle notes. i try to hum the major 3rd between the fiddles root and fifth. its funny you can literally feel the resonation
