What a journey! People say "underrated" all the time but I truly believe John Mitchell is just that. His contributions to modern prog are pretty substantial yet he never garnered that much attention. A shame but glad he has such a passionate and supportive fanbase! Now let's spread the word and bring people here!

Ah, welcome to the Family. John is both prolific and amazing. Check out his work with Frost*. And then Arena. And then Lonely Robot, all of it. And then any solo material. And then any collaborations like his work Legacy Pilots, and Wide World... :)
This is a wonderful album. What great a composition and concept. And, with Craig Blundell on drums you can't go wrong. I've listened all the way through for a 3rd time today. Better each time. Solid PROG!! Well done John Mitchell!
I've just discovered John Mitchell via Arena and I really think he is staggeringly talented (as a musician, guitarist, singer/lyricist, idiosyncratic human being (introverted android?).
Between this and Arena's Double Vision, Mr. Mitchell has had himself a heck of a musical two years and change! Now awaiting the next Frost* album ( and hoping it doesn't take another 8 years!). Kudos!
@@JohnMitchellMusic Yes sir! But patience isn't my strongest virtue either! Or maybe it's more like the reserves were all used up while awaiting Falling Satellites ;) (BTW, Others has scratched that itch...just a wee bit. So thank you!)
I am speechless. Just such an excellent overwhelming experience. And a perfect ending. I've loved the album since it was released about this time last year. So great to see the film and experience it again. Thanks!
Simply AMAZING! This album is a true MASTERPIECE. I never get tired of hearing it. A concept album that narrates the epic of space travel as few albums have done until today. And the visuals are stunning. Thanks, John!
Amazing !!! Thank You dear John for that brilliant music in many various fabulous band. Poland love You ! Film awesome to full album ... So nicely watching this work at film so interesting and professional. Thanks 😉❤
A Classic. Energizing, well balanced set of songs and sound production . Great vocals and harmonics . great story altogether . Hope to catch you live .
Great job, both musically and visually. Congratulations, one of the best progressive rock works of the century. Related to space and man and more at this time, we wonder what will become of us who are only, a microbe of the infinite galaxy.
the intro melody keeps throwing me, from 1:00 to 1:20 it's like Vangelis Blade Runner theme then 1:20 to 1:27 its like U2 where the streets have no name.
@@JohnMitchellMusic Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to the new Frost* album next year? Collaborations with Steven Wilson would also be fantastic...
Personally, I prefer, what professionally is called an "assignment" - a mission after all can be "hit or miss". Mission actually comes from a Latin word that means “to send.” It was first used by Jesuit missionaries who sent members of their order overseas to establish schools and churches, which is why all along the coastline of California there are historically preserved buildings that were built to accommodate travelers by foot who would need a place to stay after a full days journey (they were each built - an equal distance apart - a full days journey). Tired travelers would receive FREE lodging, meaning a few meals, and a shower and a clean bed, thus allowing them a nights rest to get back to their travels the following day. They were never force-fooly' converted to what many call today "manufactured religions" designed out of fear and greed.
John Mitchell amazing musician!!!

Could easily be a Frost* album. Love John's voice. Very enjoyable.

Shame I had the 13th of December booked.
Thank You John! USA tour?
Bladerunner- unashamed homage? This is the typically excellent and talented Mr. Mitchell once again amazing us .
All three of the first LR albums begins with a musical nod towards something that makes me happy.
Also, why did you have to drop out of Fish’s tour? Was really looking forward to seeing you play with the band 😕
Because I had a commitment in October that Fish wasn't aware of at the time I was initially asked.
Really reminds me of rush.
Fantastic.
Thought so too, Rush with Peter Gabriel on vocals
expedido muy buena música
Cool!
This is me Phil Wells prog is better on full stereo, why is this genre of music so fantastic ?
cannot stop listening.
I wonder if the music video took longer to make than the album itself......
How long did this comment take to make?

Hi John, from France. Why couldn’t you make the gig in London, if you don’t mind explaining, thank you.
Due to unforeseen circumstances.

No, it's Craig Blundell
