IMPORTANT : I think I forgot to say, you need t99 prayers (from Nex, Angel of Death). Soulsplit obviously as well on your quick prayers. (sorry!). One thing I forgot to mention, was my cape perks. It is just important not to have a defense cape perk on it (if you do not want to waste a sign). I took my defense cape off my anacronia cape stand during this video. My cape perks are necromancy/strength/constitution. Constitution allows you to heal at a bank during combat. So overall, it doesn't matter too much. Blood reaver set to 5 auto fire rate. Obviously all necromancy perks unlocked from the well of souls. Also, greater bone shield on. 120 necromancy and all my best in slot gear/stats is required for this method. I have not done testing with less. Let's do that Rasial challenge!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EDIT: I tested 2 more hours today (on the day of this video). I got VERY close to dying, 1k hp left (went to 2.6k @ kill end). It was due to me living death at an AWFUL time. It might have been due to me entering the instance 2 fast, or maybe I didn't have wen book on. Regardless, I still didn't die, so lol. If you ever are ungeared, you could just vuln bomb/undead slayer sigil the guy if you want @ the last 200k. So yeah. Just an update. Total of 4+ hours tested (60+ kills) and no death yet.
If they nerf necro to the ground, I'd probably finally quit. Almost did pre necro because I wasn't enjoying the min maxing of other styles and life took priority. I am able to enjoy combat again with necromancy.
I am not saying to nerf it to the ground. If they nerfed necromancy by 20% damage, reduced conjure damage and made threads of fate only work on 1 spell, I am pretty sure over 50% of the playerbase would still use necromancy, just not 90%. If you reduced necromancy by 20%, you would still be getting kill times even if you tried the other styles and got decent at them. That is the core problem and why a nerf is needed.
@XJ9LoL lol no, necro is fine. The problem is the other three styles are mishmashed garbage in comparison. Fix the other combat skills progression and give them an actual identity. Then address balance if needed. Your nerfs are absurd on top of the nerfs necro already got and the buffs the other skills get. A t99 skill shouldn't even compete with a t120 skill in the first place
hey there, been using this method for a few days now. also been enjoying your content alot. I wanted to mention, a lot better for hp boost. if you have the desert pantheon aura it gives an instant 1k boost for 1 hr, 1.5k if you skill at hets oasis awhile for the upgrade. This can be stacked not with bonfires, but it can be stacked with spa boost. so i get around 15.1k hp total

hey im having some luck getting kc now, however i cant seem to purley afk last phase. only major thing im seeing i dont have is the vorkath nexus, would you say thats a hard req?
Increased debilitate timer and -15 damage every hit (which I think is more due to how boss damage modifiers work). I would say yeah, probably. If you want, you could just vitality pot @ the last phase to improvise. Vitality pot + vuln bomb and optionall undead slayer sigil. 100 vorkath kills isn't that bad. One thing that might be worth testing out, is replace biting 4 with bulwark 4. I don't know if you will run into a damage issue, but the debil might help? Unsure.
Be sure to be following exactly what I am saying. Use a holy overload, or any other lesser boost will lead to different results. If ring of death procs, that does not matter, you still got the kill. That will happen sometimes. Others have had no issue and have told me in-game to thank me, so it is probably an issue on your end.
Nope. Darkness and animate do not stack. We use animate dead here instead of darkness because rasial has 100% hit chance. His attacks cannot miss. So darkness doesn't do anything. This applies to bosses like the ambassador as well.
I tried this out and I couldn't really get it to work with the exact same setup you have, not sure what was going wrong, do you have reaper crew? That's the only thing I can think of that could be different. However I have found a strat that works really well for me, simply changing to scripture of Jas and using Equilibrium aura instead of Aegis. I have gotten quite a few kills with 0 deaths. The ring of death seems to proc often but it's always right at the end of the kill.
Yeah, maybe reaper crew as well. I guess that is a buff I forgot to mention! I recommend getting it then and having the max hp from thermal bath + bonfire, as that HP bonus is also really important! (or use desert pantheon). And yeah, maybe wen is bad (it doesn't heal THAT MUCH) and jas can help nuke the boss at the end. Equilibrium is an aura I've been considering testing because it will lead to no RNG crits which can make the kill go funky. If you were to crit every single death skull, I think that is when my kills have gotten REALLY CLOSE. Equilibrium removes a lot of the RNG. I will add, I have died ONCE doing this method after 8 hours of testing it. I personally think it was because I summoned my conjures too early and went into the instance lighting fast, as I resummoned them during the final fight. It also might have been because my het's buff ran out and I didn't have HP anymore. I wasn't paying much attention though honestly. But yeah, 1 death every 8 hours, even assuming I did everything correctly, is still poggers. I am considering removing the biting 4 and perhaps just putting on bulwark 4 (for increased debilitate timing) or something. The only thing that can make kills close is doing too much damage too soon. Another adjustment I might try out is moving living death to where death skulls is, so living death has priority. You would just have to manually cast death skulls at the start of the fight (so click on rasial and use death skulls, or let him attack you and spam the death skulls key). Because often, when he charges you and stuns you, your character might not do anything for 10+ seconds, making you death skulls again instead of living deathing right before the last phase. This is what makes kills close.
@@XJ9LoL I did some more experimenting! Removed biting and added Impatient 4, made kills a little bit more inconsistent but also overall better. Now I hardly proc ring of death and haven't died yet, even when my animate dead ended mid fight and I didn't notice. Kills are now around 2:20 on average. A few issues I noticed since there is more adrenaline it kept using defensives just before having enough adrenaline for death skulls so I had to swap touch of death and reflect which fixed the issue but created another, now finger of death is the issue sometimes all abilities are on cooldown and I just need one more basic for death skulls, but instead I'd do 2 finger of deaths, one with six stacks and one without which would eat the adrenaline. _I'd love if there was a revolution option to only trigger it when 6+ stacks_ Anyways this has been great, Rasial was always a pain for me and this is really chill to do. Plus it has been really fun experimenting new things!
Oh that is interesting. And lol, yeah revolution is already so strong I couldn't imagine if they gave that option for finger of death. I am glad you are testing things yourself though. I actually encourage it as well, as it definitely can be improved. I had someone else who camps 2-3 kills and just uses vitality potion for the 2nd kill.

But to come back after a specific number of minutes to loot, then bank, go back to the boss, key several inputs to prepare for your next fight. For me it's not. Well, a few minutes is 3 minutes, which is how long you have to afk for this boss. The only non afk part is restocking at a bank. You know, if you want the guide to suit YOUR personal playstyle, you can simply improvise by vitality potting at the 2nd or 3rd kill, but that requires manual input. I am sorry making 50-60mil + hour at a boss requires a little bit more effort than you are used to. But plenty of people have been messaging me in-game, thanking me and talking about things they have done to either make it more afk or stay for multiple kills. Idk, I personally think it's funny a 50-60mil method that requires 11 inputs in a span of 20 seconds every 3 minutes is considered "none afk". Revolution is doing 95% of the work lol.

Yeah. As an example, if the droprate of a unique is 1/100, the lotd will make it 1/99. So it really only helps 1 kill out of every 100 for that specific boss with a drop rate of 1/100. I personally bother with it as back when I did telos, I got quite a few luck of the dwarves drops. Probably under 10 in my 200+ uniques. So it does matter if you do A LOT of kills. It would sting to know you could've gotten a shard of genesis. So I do think you should bother imo. as long as it isn't annoying or cost you time.
You can walk away from your screen for 3 minutes you enter the instance and hug the wall. I literally made a meme video of me not even being at my computer and getting a kill.
Necromancy should be demoted to a 99 skill, or others need to be 120 too. Having whole 21 levels over other combat styles makes no sense at all. Also either tankiness or damage needs to be adjusted. It makes 0 sense to have both through the roof.
Even if other skills were 120, necromancy still needs a nerf. If the other skills became 120, I would want zerk auras to be retired at that point (no need for them, or then the core 3 combat styles become a problem in terms of design). I personally dislike aura locking content (in terms of ease). Both damage + tankyness needs a nerf. Even if you nerf damage, the conjure ghost healing is too much and leads to a lot of afk methods that should not exist. If you nerf healing, then it just makes necromancy require a blood reaver to spam or soul split flicking. You need to do both. Necromancy can retain it's ease + sustain, but lower it by 20-30%. They shouldn't be getting sub 3:10 or less @ hardmode sanctum solo. If it was 4 mins~ even with being the best necromancer on the planet, that would be balanced.
Probably not, as the zuk cape has a huge damage increase. If you have the t100 weapons, and t99 prayers, I will assume you can do the zuk cape. You can probably get away with missing a few things, but it would require you to vuln bomb + use undead slayer ability on the last phase (the only phase that can kill you).
I agree there's a huge disparity between necro and other styles, but I think they're trying to balance the game around lower effort gameplay, at least that's what I get from their changes to mage and addition of such an accessible t95 in the sanctum drops. This is obviously problematic and excessive, but I think they're trying to work on making the game have a lwoer barrier to entry in pvm... which is inherently good, but they're in a rush to make it happen and necromancy is a symptom for sure. The t95 wand + core are good but by themselves aren't SUPER good currently unless they make a new bleed armour set and a new damage set (for fsoa). You need both fsoa and the new wand to compete. And yes, they are clearly balancing the game around "low effort" gameplay. The game shouldn't be 3-5 EoF switches and multiple pernix quiver switches. But there is something such as "too easy". There was a recent thread on reddit about how necromancy should be the "yuumi" of runescape. It should be, because it doesn't need to follow any of the staple rules of PvM while dealing insane amounts of damage effortlessly.
@@XJ9LoL Exactly swap scape is only for sweaty elitist pvmers that think they are better than everyone else because they have so many swaps and experience to easily kill anything in game when compared to the average pvmer. Necromancy just made combat so accessible to everyone not just the sweaty boys with that said, They have their hands full as far as making every combat style feeling balanced but they love ranged to much 😂
I don't know. Jagex hasn't really done many major balance changes. We had the combat beta, but that was months ago... So I don't think they really have their hands filled doing anything in regards to combat balancing. I would be pleasantly surprised if we had another set of combat changes on the roadmap. And yeah, ranged is pretty good. It's carried pretty heavily due to blubberfish + blood reaver though, as it allows you to tank and spank any boss with split soul. One thing I dislike about record pvm kills is that there are a lot of exploits being done, such as stalling a statius warhammer on a dummy and entering an instance, and using a free statius warhammer on the boss straight into a death swiftness. This is clearly a bug, one that was said to be fixed years ago, but players found and alternative way of accomplishing it and they just never attempted to fix it again.
How many kc have you done without dying? Vid looks very good, but the methods I've tried in the past with exact specs have gotten me killed quite a few times
If you listened to the video, I said zero. Please listen to the full video while browsing twitter. Or, put it on 2x speed. There are some cruicial steps/gear choices that are required for 100% success, and any deviation from the source material will lead to different results. An example of a deviation that might lead to different results is having your defense cape perk active. If you sign, you lose all adrenaline. If your ring of death procs, you will not lose your adrenaline. I didn't ring of death at all during my 3 kills in this video, nor did I ring of death at all during my testing, except when I forgot to overload (I forgot to do a step, thus a different result occured). So, out of 90+ minutes of testing (20+ kills), all of them were fine but one due to an error on my part (not overloading).

@@XJ9LoL Exactly swap scape is only for sweaty elitist pvmers that think they are better than everyone else because they have so many swaps and experience to easily kill anything in game when compared to the average pvmer.
Necromancy just made combat so accessible to everyone not just the sweaty boys with that said, They have their hands full as far as making every combat style feeling balanced but they love ranged to much 😂
I don't know. Jagex hasn't really done many major balance changes. We had the combat beta, but that was months ago... So I don't think they really have their hands filled doing anything in regards to combat balancing. I would be pleasantly surprised if we had another set of combat changes on the roadmap.
And yeah, ranged is pretty good. It's carried pretty heavily due to blubberfish + blood reaver though, as it allows you to tank and spank any boss with split soul. One thing I dislike about record pvm kills is that there are a lot of exploits being done, such as stalling a statius warhammer on a dummy and entering an instance, and using a free statius warhammer on the boss straight into a death swiftness. This is clearly a bug, one that was said to be fixed years ago, but players found and alternative way of accomplishing it and they just never attempted to fix it again.
How many kc have you done without dying? Vid looks very good, but the methods I've tried in the past with exact specs have gotten me killed quite a few times
If you listened to the video, I said zero. Please listen to the full video while browsing twitter. Or, put it on 2x speed. There are some cruicial steps/gear choices that are required for 100% success, and any deviation from the source material will lead to different results.
An example of a deviation that might lead to different results is having your defense cape perk active. If you sign, you lose all adrenaline. If your ring of death procs, you will not lose your adrenaline. I didn't ring of death at all during my 3 kills in this video, nor did I ring of death at all during my testing, except when I forgot to overload (I forgot to do a step, thus a different result occured). So, out of 90+ minutes of testing (20+ kills), all of them were fine but one due to an error on my part (not overloading).
