- Hey everyone, quick guide today on how to Solo the Ambassador in RuneScape, both for the Kili's Knowledge Upgrade, and for kills in general. I know a lot of players choose to Dart (DTD) this boss, so I'm hoping this video helps people get their first solos!

I managed an 05:34.2 for my first ever successful kill! One more down on my reaper crew!
Really sick guide my man, super well edited and put together.
Wanted to add another little thing that helped me out a lot, if you happen to miss a spinner make sure you’re standing close enough to the Ambassador if you’re going to reso or disruption shield a blast. If you’re standing far enough away then the timing of when the projectile hits you can absolutely mess with the timing. Something that got me killed a lot when I was first learning this boss pre Necro.
All your guides are nice, but the amazing gradual buildup in visuals/editing and step-by-step explanation in this one is incredible, and makes it a lot less overwhelming for non end-game players.
Oh I really like the editing style of pup, he really did cook 👍👍

Great guide! The visuals are fantastic and the explanation is really easy to understand. It would be nice to have an extra 2-3 mins at the end of the guide to show what a higher tier setup can do like which mechanics you can skip and such.

After being on and off on rs3 for last ~5 years, having your videos has motivated me to get back into it, so far made it back to 90+ cb and generally levelled stats which I wouldn’t have normally done. Amazing man keep it up 👌🏽

Necomancy making you do this to upgrade your gear was genius, this fight really taught me the basics of defensives and helped me get into pvm, i had fun getting my ass handed to me for a couple days on this one.

I'm pretty new to bossing, and I fought this guy dozens of times yesterday - I legit died over 40 times trying to beat this thing. I was using an outdated guide from before Necromancy was nerfed. After watching your video, I beat it my first time, without any close calls. Night and day difference. Your videos are going to be my first source for learning bosses going forward.

Top notch video. I hope this finally gets a lot of people out of their comfort zone and into some of the most fun content in the game (I love ED3, even if ED3 doesn't love me). I will also say for the people struggling at first, it does get better, just don't give up :)

Eyyyy, finally got enough oceanic components for undead slayer codex (ironman) and I thought these black dragon hears dropped like ancient scales in ed1, so I was feeling confident with my 15 dtd stack, but turns out it's a LOT less. Got my first real solo kill with this method, tyvm!!
Honestly I don't know what to say other than Thank you. I never realized how much the game has when it comes to pvm stuff until watching this video.

Having watch many ambassador guides... I can finally say that I have secure a (very scuffed) first kill!
For those who have not tried - if you are proficient with using magic spells - shield dome is a nice to use, it has similar mechanics to the ability disruption shield.
Don't worry about using your sign of life & ring of death life-lines a kill is a kill!
And rocktails + brews also works (albeit with a bit more adrenaline loss).
Pray ranged until the arms spawn. And pray mage till the end of the kill. And chomp chomp chomp!
But honestly - necro having an ability which equates to just firing an auto attack at any time is such a god send. It helps with re-targetting without mis-clicking into smoke.
Once you have made the kill - it gives so much confidence.
You are the absolute best man, appreciate you!
You actually review your inventory instead of just showing a screenshot of it. Thank you!
For the revo bar you can save a lot of space by replacing the conjures with the army conjure that brings all 3 up at once. More expensive per cast but worth it to save space and one less thing to worry about. I keep the conjure outside of revo though and keep revo on my basic abilities. With necro you really want to manually manage your thresholds instead of letting revo pop them.

as someone running t90s and can solo ed1,2,4...getting this boss down has been maddening. i saw your og guide..and got him down to phase...but that spinner phase be brutal..but im ready to try again. used you method on hm kerapac using necro and im at 100 solo kills,

1st attempt = completely failed the beam phase and right after it it kep puffing smoke at me and I died pretty quickly
That looks easy when you do it but I am unable to pass the beams. Even with bloat I am unable to destroy all of them.
And I am getting hit pretty hard, even with the range protection.
Let's try again and die a few times

I was finally able to do a full ED1 solo just a little while ago and did ED2 next.
But I couldn't get through the Ambassador to get the special reward for doing all 3 elite dungeons in order. Eventually, I just used a Dart but it was really anticlimactic, especially considering how awesome the fight is supposed to be.
Hopefully I'll be able to do it next time.
Knowing to stand south for beams I think will fix my ambi solos. Ive just been too inconsistent and after having them spawn on me so often, stopped trying the boss. Might give it another go!
Nice guide, do you use the gloves over the necro gloves normally or just for this boss?

With a zuk cape, just use skulls as often as you can

I like to initiate combat with a resonance / soul split active just to heal from extending my summons life transfer ability and then swap right into ranged deflect pray

small detail here but i think you should put the rune pouches in you rpocket. they have a prayer bonus where as none vorkath nexus does not

Nowhere tbh, most places you don't make back the 5m you would have spent on it.

Where were you yesterday when I finally *finally* killed Amby??
I ended up darting him at 45k health because I messed up my defensives and my life cape proc'd.
For those who don't know, you can use a dart and still get the your T90 necro gear, but you have to get him down at least halfway first (I'm unsure if damage from your minions counts or not, so make sure he's more than halfway before trying it)
After watching the video:
This guide is fantastic! I almost want to run the dungeon again because I had no idea about using Bloat on the spinners.
I consistently ended with two spinners on every attempt, so I finally got smart and saved my adrenaline potion to ensure I could use reflect and a vitality potion.
Maybe I won't run it again soon though... I'm on mobile, and trying to be precise with dives during the spinner phase is a nightmare.

Perks are quite expensive though, great guide nonetheless
No idea if he even tried this more than once, but with tier 80s and strictly better perks, bloat does NOT kill those spinners. No idea if this was patched 1 day after this was posted or something, but there is zero chance of killing those spinners with this technique.
Tested this method 8 times, consistently cleared the first 4 spinners so long as you're using weapon poison +++ and cinderbanes.

You're using a max cape, but what perks are you using on it?
Does not really matter u can put defense attack and invention perks

these videos often make me realize how far off i am as an ironman.
yeah just use these gloves that take hours to get, use these potions that i need like 3 months of dailies/weeklies put into herb xp for, or these incantations and rings that require 86 archaeology while i still cant even afk the skill because my character is still too stupid not to put earth in their inventory. and dont even get me started on ancient invention
I wish they would add a skip to Ambby like they have with Zamorak at ED4

while the video is great it is completely insane to me that ambassador is so easy with t80/t70s. reaffirms me quitting after it came out with the ridiculous powercreep.

any time u show any necromancy video , makes me see why i sold out all my gear out of this game, trash combat style , gives top gear without any effort, killed the game for me
