As a frequent cruiser, I fully sympathize! Have spent over 8 hours on hold with the line too. I now fly 3 days before embarking in Europe and 2 days before embarking at a USA port.
Your family dynamic is just gorgeous to watch. I have an 8 yr old daughter and I hope when she's in her 20s to have that kind of dynamic with her! Looking forward to watching all your upcoming vlogs from the med 🙂

Very long Travel Day, however you made it!!! Once you reached the ship Jordan you became a totally different person. You were so enthusiastic and so happy. Great to see. FYI - when you land in your final destination, you can usually use the lounge for an hour after your flight lands. You just say your transport is an hour away. Then you can shower, freshen up.
I wanted to do that! but unfortunately when I landed in Venice, international arrivals were set up so we go through customs and baggage claim and that’s it

We will be onboard the first week of December. Can't wait! Our first cruise on Explorer. If you talk to the cast on Allure, tell them they did a fabulous job during the President's Cruise. My husband and I saw the show twice.

I appreciate all the effort you are putting into documenting your lifestyle/job which is very different from mine which is an engineer mostly sitting at a desk in an office attached to a factory. It seems like it’s common to switch from one ship to another regularly. I wonder if that is to avoid burnout doing one show?

It was great to meet you at the cafe promenade. Sorry I was a bit star struck 😅 I didn't expect to see you at all. My wife was so jealous. 😅 will you be doing the same show as the current skaters as the show was amazing the best I've seen on Royal? Just watched the rest now and see you will be it's a great show.
If your skates are leather, I would personally use the ANGELUS brand. Deglaze the skate first and then paint it, you'll have to mix some paints together to get the right color, and then use their clear sealant. I've used it for MANY theatrical shows and it's by far the best and does not chip or peel off. You'll have to use the leather paint in the Angelus brand so the paint stays flexible. Best of luck!
