Wow that seems pretty easy. I have shot around 600 rounds through my rifle trying to find a load and it’s still not great. 3/4 5 shot group with a custom rifle. I will have to try this. Thanks!!
Thanks - I really enjoyed this and it kinda helped me understand what I saw with Satterlee plus things Ive learned from Erik Cortina. Looking forward to having components again someday.
I am surprised there are no comments or questions. Thank you for this method. Would you please let me know how you arrived at your start load. I would like to try your method to see if I can load develop my 6.5 creedmoor. I will be using 140 gr SMK's as well as Nosler CCs in 140 gr. Also I assume your distance is 100 yards. As well did you zero your scope or bore sight then develop? Sorry for all the questions but I was trying to develop this load and the reload shop I buy from told me to stand down till things picked up in regard to supplies. I loaded 25 rounds and shot those prior to stopping. When I saw you develop in 12 shots I lit up and am thinking I can do that with the 3 cals I have and save time and materials. All 3 are new and this looks like an invaluable method. Thank you in advance should you be able to reply.
You recommend to start .020” off lands? Is that commonly the best accuracy for you?Seems like a huge jump to me but I also don’t shoot those high b.c. bullets.
Hey, nice video! I have question. How do you determine coal of load? Let say i do 10 shoot lader test and result can be good if there is right coal , but if coal is not right it will fly all over the paper. Even if there is speed node in there. Thanks for anwser

How would you do it?
Does not the magnospeed interfere with the barrel harmonics, if so would not the point of impact be different?

how do you get the correct sd or es without shooting multiples of same load?
I'm 2 years late, but I ask anyway. Very nice viseo and an efficient process. How did you select the powder to start with?

Glad it was helpful!

My pleasure sir, typically start with 2 gn less than max load recommended and seating depth 20 thou off max or 10 thou of max magazine length
How far our do you have your target? Love this system you you're showing.
typically do this at 100 yds
How do you select which primer and powder to use for this method?
Would it be preferred to remove the magneto speed before you start adjusting seating depth?
I do sometimes but haven’t seen it make a difference
Questions on how you started the test. Was the barrel broke in? did you start with a clean or fouled barrel? If fouled, how many fouling shots?
I typically clean the barrel and do a few sight in rounds and Start from there.
when i do load development, I go a full grain at a time from light to heavy charge. How do you start with a charge and only go .2 grains at a time?
Do you not reshoot under different conditions
Where and how did you decide where to start your powder loads
Typically start around two gn less than recommended max by hogdon data
Where do you start your bullet seating depth?
20 thou off max length
How do you decided where to start with powder loads and seating depths?
I typically start 2 gn under max and seating depth 20 thou of max if mag allows
How was the starting load determined?
I typically start around 2 gn less than recommended max load by hogdon data
This guy is a J Arthur.

It varies from one gun to another but after finding the powder charge I typically don’t have to adjust the seating depth more than six thousand.
Bud, love the video. Please get yourself a lapel mike, sound isn't great.
Thanks for the feedback

Typically i just start around 20 thou of max seating depth or 10 thou of of max magazine length
why do you have a tag on trigger guard of that rifle
Still new and didn’t really affect my shooting:)
