I really hope it turns out he's real. It's just such an obvious route to go down, and I don't think it would be a very good 'twist'. it could be that butcher already had that stuff and maybe joe helped him remember where he had stashed it, cause the temp V had addled some of his memories? so it could be like joe gave it to him, just not literally in a sense where butcher would have to go out and procure this stuff from the government. like maybe joe handing it to him is just him looking into a secret stash and then handing it to himself? still not a great explanation, just an idea...
I think that right now, getting Jeffrey for this role is a waste of potential. He shows up for a couple of seconds, doesn't do shit and then disappears.

It's so obvious Joe is not real I actually kinda want the reveal to be that he is indeed real. and it's so dumb to introduce a new character and then say he wasn't real. His wife works as a hallucination because we know her. It's sad and meaningful. Imagine if we didn't and instead he just starts hallucinating about a woman we never saw.
This is what I was thinking. What if it’s meant to make us think he isn’t real, and maybe homelander sent Joe to spy on butcher and always be one step ahead of him his last few months alive, why also letting butcher think he had full control, when he never did.
Sorry, but I strongly disagree. The fact that we've never seen this character before is what makes this a good twist. We know nothing about their shared history other than a vague mission where Butcher may or may not have saved his life. We know Becca's a haulicination because we already know she's dead. It took several episodes for people to realize he's also imaginary. That's a good twist.

It's the tumor cause by Temp V. It became sentient and superpowered after Butcher used normal V to try to become a supe to heal himself. But instead, it made the tumor become a superpowered creature just like in Diabolical. It's using the image of people Butcher knew to try to influence Butcher.

How crazy of a twist would it be if we were actually meant to think Joe is not real. Only for it to turn out he absolutely is, and after Homelander saw butcher had a few months to live, sent Joe there to be discrete and watch butcher for anything potentially dangerous, while letting butcher stir the pot with every one else.
@@leonardo25gabriel not that hard to think about. We saw last episode Homelander realized he can’t get Ryan to obey him by acting the way vought raised him. So he manipulated Ryan into thinking he had free will and took advantage of the situation with the woman the producer was harassing, to try and make Ryan more like him, without Ryan noticing. If butcher kidnaps Ryan, drugs him and tries to take him away, does that make butcher look good? Absolutely not, it would further turn Ryan away from butcher. Homelanders exact goal. he blacks out and joe takes over and does some werewolf shit like exploding the Ezekiel and making Zamir disappear into thin air while cutting off his leg and leaving it at the scene. lol.
This has to be some hallucination because no one has seen him besides Butcher. It’s like he’s going through an Arthur Morgan type situation where he relives his past until he dies.
After watching Episode 6 its quite crazy how (spoilers if you click more) Were literally correct 100% its actually fucking insane how perfectly correct you were
butcher imagining joe wont be interesting especially how much better YOU and fight club basically perfected it and i dont think anyone can do it better
especially because it would mean that butcher has two different types of hallucinations with one being obvious and the other very realistic. if he isn't real that would be a cheap way to mislead the audience
We've literally only ever seen Joe when alone with Butcher. With Butcher's mind on the fritz, his perspective is not a reliable one for storytelling whatsoever. Just because in Butcher's mind, Joe gives him the drugs and the virus file doesn't mean that's what actually happened. Butcher likely stole the file from Grace Mallory and stole the drugs the same way. Not like it'd be the first time he's stolen shit from the CIA
IM BACK!!! And MY GOD!!! You were Right!!! I knew something felt Off about Joe, the Way he’s framed in scenes, the fact he never meets with anyone else….and Samier looking confused after Butcher looked behind him in the Ending scene last episode. GOD this Episode was INSANITY!!! 🤯🤢
It proves it in the last episode (spoilers): Butcher and Joe are in the shed, where Butcher chopped the leg of the scientist. It's weird he is there, considering it was just a few minutes ago.
Sameer could have been there for 2 or 4 hours already... We don't know, and there is no indicative of how much time it has passed! Don't make shit up just to fit the narrative 😂 (and that's coming from someone who also believes Joe is a hallucination)
Cool thing to notice: When Billy is sitting down with Joe at 0:16 the wall he's facing in the shot is blank, and Billy is on the other side of the door frame indicating that he's literally talking to a wall, or someone who isn't actually there. They also only show Joe's feet here and don't show his face.
Yep and Joe doesn't drink his coffee here either. However we can assume he may have drank before we pan into this scene but the fact Billy takes out his alcohol and pours it into both drinks, joe still doesn't drink his and no one will see the second cup too, being on that side covered by the wall frame But the biggest hint & most obvious when Joe states "You had a *clean shot* with soldier boy" That's far too specific to state that. He would have had to witness that moment when they had homelander dead to rights leaning over his injured son, where soldier boy had a clean shot

This has to be some hallucination because no one has seen him besides Butcher. It’s like he’s going through an Arthur Morgan type situation where he relives his past until he dies.
yeah, because when CIA guys meet to discuss secret plans, they usually make sure to have outsiders witness their conversation
After watching Episode 6 its quite crazy how (spoilers if you click more)
Were literally correct 100% its actually fucking insane how perfectly correct you were
butcher imagining joe wont be interesting especially how much better YOU and fight club basically perfected it and i dont think anyone can do it better
especially because it would mean that butcher has two different types of hallucinations with one being obvious and the other very realistic. if he isn't real that would be a cheap way to mislead the audience
Aged like a fine wine.
I thought it was supposed to be obvious? He never interacted with ANYBODY else from his very first scene
I have just finished watching season 4 and I think that you might be right, it does seem highly probable
1:09 But who gave Butcher these drugs to drug Ryan then?
butcher got them himself but forgot about it because he sometimes blacks out and shit
Prob frenchie tbh but now we know it’s confirmed

Who else is here after season 4 episode 6? Right on the money with this one!
@@Brondon96 fair, but I don't think you can stay 2 hours with your leg cut and just a tourniquet. You need to cauterize it soon or you'll bleed out
broski was actually cooking, great video!
Bro is a time traveller
Bro was cooking
Joe is like Butcher’s Dark Urge in this scenario lol
Came back after the newest eposide, good job 👍
Bro is a chef!
This aged like milk into a fine cheese
Cool thing to notice: When Billy is sitting down with Joe at 0:16 the wall he's facing in the shot is blank, and Billy is on the other side of the door frame indicating that he's literally talking to a wall, or someone who isn't actually there. They also only show Joe's feet here and don't show his face.
Yep and Joe doesn't drink his coffee here either. However we can assume he may have drank before we pan into this scene but the fact Billy takes out his alcohol and pours it into both drinks, joe still doesn't drink his and no one will see the second cup too, being on that side covered by the wall frame
But the biggest hint & most obvious when Joe states
"You had a *clean shot* with soldier boy"
That's far too specific to state that. He would have had to witness that moment when they had homelander dead to rights leaning over his injured son, where soldier boy had a clean shot
Love the amount of people who saw the leaks and then acted like they were smart for predicting a plot twist. The Reddit discussion threads were full of it. Not saying you’re one of them, just a ton of people passed it off as a prediction and not just reading the leaks.
I knew it wasn’t immediately obvious. Every other person on here is acting so smug saying they knew. Glad i didn’t get that spoiled
@@ChristinaMagma Same here! Overanalysing TV doesn’t necessarily add to the enjoyment. If you just watch a show casually then stuff like this is a very satisfying reveal. Sometimes that’s preferable to trying to predict everything in advance.
Which leaks are you referring to?
@@Evanz111 agree completely, i never knew about any leaks because i just had the show recommended to me and then watched it all in about a week, but that scene revealing kessler wasnt real and even was already dead was amazing. i love reveals that really catch me off guard, most of the time its pretty obvious whether purposeful or not, maybe this one is too if you pay enough attention but thats not much fun really. looking back it was one of those things that you just had no reason to question. amazing show all in all.
Hallucination in the last scene of the last episode
bruh, how did you know
This is actually a crazy ass theory that came to pass
good thing I didn't watch this before the new episode:D
This prediction was spot on. I never saw it coming
he actually called it
Brooo you got it congratz
Halfway through ep 6 i was starting to lose faith but then he just kinda left sameer on his own technically but its quite subtly done, made for a good pay off at the end
Dean, Bobby and now John, just waiting for Sam
Cant believe bro really was correct. Nice work
can’t imagine how satisfied you were when you saw the ep6
I thiink we all saw it coming lol. The reveal was great though.
Damn, give it the Spoilers tag, one look at all these scenes and you know it's a Angel and Devil on the shoulder type stuff.
