      If it's been that long since you played, put some super glue on your finger tips, because your fingers will be killing you long before you want to quit playing.

    I love the idea of learning to play Johnny B. Good. I remember watching Chuck Berry play on TV when I was a kid. I was amazed how he could jump all over the stage playing guitar. Can’t wait to get this down so I can help my grandson with it. Just bought us each a guitar yesterday to learn together. He’s 6, I’m 61. He’s gonna love jumping around doing the 1 finger cords! Thanks so much!

    Hey Andy, I think i found another great teacher to follow. i love the technic's you use to teach us how to play the songs the easiest way first, then so us the way it is really played. I'm a drummer of thirdy fives. and at 64 yrs. young I'm learning guitar and love the instrument wish I had done it when i was younger. Your presentations are east to follow, you rock Andy!!!

    Thank You, I was struggling with this in the begining course untill I figured out thanks to you that it was ok to mute the other strings, I kept trying to arch my fingers to only use the finger tips, after I figured it out thanks to you it started to work,,

    Andy is great , i started with his videos as an older beginner 4 years ago. I found him easy to follow and friendly. I found his explanations simple to follow. If he talks too much for you then learn from someone else, its all personal preference

    It’s a great instructive song! I’ve been using it for years to teach my beginner group students! You can even start with a single string (A,D &E), and move through progressively to more difficult power chord riffs and barre chords. Well done here!

    Regarding the blues riff in B quote, I read somewhere (not sure if it's true) that it was common at the 50s for musicians to shorthand key of Bb to key of B, but everyone knew it was Bb since it is a common key to play in with saxophones and other wind instruments.

      I like sci-fi, War of the Gargantuas is wicked. It's kinda a monster film too tho... Anyway, Chucks reason and this could be more guessing. I read it was Johnny Johnson, his piano player because like you said different instruments lend themselves to different keys. And I've heard Johnny was a big part. Take care friend.
