Dude, I've played forever, all kinds of things... But man, I gotta say, for someone just beginning to learn, you're a good teacher. You take your time, slow it down, and give a couple of options for different levels. Way to go bro!

My guitar has been sitting there for nearly 10 years and I watched 5 minutes of your tutorial and you helped me realize that I can begin to understand how to play, and I have been actually playing for about an hour now and enjoying it. Thanks for inspiring me 👍
If it's been that long since you played, put some super glue on your finger tips, because your fingers will be killing you long before you want to quit playing.
I love the idea of learning to play Johnny B. Good. I remember watching Chuck Berry play on TV when I was a kid. I was amazed how he could jump all over the stage playing guitar. Can’t wait to get this down so I can help my grandson with it. Just bought us each a guitar yesterday to learn together. He’s 6, I’m 61. He’s gonna love jumping around doing the 1 finger cords! Thanks so much!
Andy is great , i started with his videos as an older beginner 4 years ago. I found him easy to follow and friendly. I found his explanations simple to follow. If he talks too much for you then learn from someone else, its all personal preference
I would like to thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart, because of you i am getting better and better everyday with my electric guitar . I started playing on the 26th of august 2020 , before that i have never touched a guitar in my life and i am 27 . So thank you again .
Hey Andy, I think i found another great teacher to follow. i love the technic's you use to teach us how to play the songs the easiest way first, then so us the way it is really played. I'm a drummer of thirdy fives. and at 64 yrs. young I'm learning guitar and love the instrument wish I had done it when i was younger. Your presentations are east to follow, you rock Andy!!!

Thank You, I was struggling with this in the begining course untill I figured out thanks to you that it was ok to mute the other strings, I kept trying to arch my fingers to only use the finger tips, after I figured it out thanks to you it started to work,,
Thank you, you re-lit the flame again. I was having a hard time getting motivated and this video got me going again, just a beginner and was in a rut and loosing interest. Again thank you and keep them coming

if you're just going over the full bit then here you go rather than having to go back! 5:05 also you're an amazing teacher! Just pulled my old guitar out after years of not playing, thank you!
Thank you Andy from a 74 year young beginner. Last time I heard that was a dance /show in Chiselhurst caves at 16 years old. WOW!!!!! I have just done the math, oh dear.
Regarding the blues riff in B quote, I read somewhere (not sure if it's true) that it was common at the 50s for musicians to shorthand key of Bb to key of B, but everyone knew it was Bb since it is a common key to play in with saxophones and other wind instruments.
I like sci-fi, War of the Gargantuas is wicked. It's kinda a monster film too tho... Anyway, Chucks reason and this could be more guessing. I read it was Johnny Johnson, his piano player because like you said different instruments lend themselves to different keys. And I've heard Johnny was a big part. Take care friend.
amazing as simple :) very glad I found this. your kind of teaching makes me a bright grin. :D keep that mission going. big up. and thanks for praising the jamming with you!!! thats appreciated!

Better than the Fender Play version. This is a really good introduction to the song! Bb is important because when you're playing with a horn section it's easier for a guitar to play in horn keys Eb, Ab, Bb than a Eb, Ab, Bb instrument to play in the popular guitar keys of A and E. The next step is the tradition sixth position variant.
