Thanks Andy, you have a way of keeping things simple while adding the fiddly bits or alternative chord shapes for those who want a bit more of a challenge. Enjoy your content.😊

What a fun video! I've been learning for two months and a half, and I'm confident with some chords (D, A, E, Am, Em, Dm). I'm also learning C and G now. I'll add some of the songs you put here to my to-do-soon list (sweet home Alabama, Jolene, and the first cut is the deepest). Thanks for sharing, Andy.

Because of Andy guitar and another lady on yt named lauren Bateman are the two amazing people that have taught me all i know on guitar so far. Iv only been playing for around 8 months and have to say iv come a long way already. And its bc of the people like them who takes time from their days to show us who dont have hundreds of dollars to spend on music classes a chance to learn and shine. I have tremendous respect for the people on yt teaching others to learn and enjoy whatever it is their into. Mine obviously is music. So ya just want to say thank you to Andy.

Thanks for all the videos, I have had a blast learning through watching them! For a chord like D, I am confused how you're supposed to strum it. You're only supposed to strum the bottom 4 chords, but in the videos it sometimes seems like you strum the bottom 4, and sometimes it seems like you strum all 6. I know you have mentioned using your thumb to mute the string, but every time I try that it doesn't sound anywhere near the way it sounds when I strum 4. I guess I am looking for advice on playing chords like that in the proper strumming pattern you are teaching. Thanks!

Start simple. To start with, just strum once on a G chord, then switch to a C chord and strum once. Go back and forth about 100 times. Slowly get faster. Keep practicing! :)

Before you get ahead of yourself first check out what AC~DC had to say about this in the tutorial/song
      offered up in this video.
Possibly why it is included here.
A sort of firsthand road map to the top if you want to rock & roll offered up by the boys.
Whole lot of Rosie has some valuable information for the maturing young man, as well as "girls got rhythm"
"Givin the Dog a Bone" "Sink the Pink" "What Do You Do for Money Honey" and for cautionary information
      "Soul Stripper"
