    Coach Kolat I sent my wrestlers to your camp when you were at Campbell University they explained to me the importance of basics and simplicity wins more matches than being flashy. My hundred and seventy pounder went undefeated his senior year and this was his favorite takedown.

    I’ve been watching you since high school my freshman year. Coach was like “I never taught you that, but I like it” and I showed him your channel and he said he remembered all about you once he seen you. He said you are one of the best to ever wrestle. I’ve moved to MMA but I still watch you a lot. Thank you for taking time out of your day to post stuff like this

    Also it's the same footwork in a Greco headlock or arm spin. It's a coil spring of momentum.

      Headlock throw is more of a wheeling motion along the width of the pelvis in my experience. Was always taught to step further across the body for the headlock

    Yes, I was right, I know an O-Goshi when I see one, and I was also right in that learning all disciplines of grappling will help each other greatly

    This is exactly what’s lacking in a lot of MMA today. I used to train with guys that were fighting in the cage and I’d be all over their ass because they don’t have the ability to transition in between throws and take downs.. they should get stuffed hang on until their arms are gassed and try to throw an elbow on the way out rather than transition into another move or throw. You have a great technique and make it look a lot easier than it is.. very impressive videos

    In judo you can do a similar combo with inside trip (o uchi gari) into the hip toss (o goshi)

    I like watching your videos then trying to apply the technique on guys when going live. Single legs are my bread and butter so this set up worked against a 2 time state champ then it also worked on a guy at bjj and he said nobody’s ever thrown him like that lol. Thanks for the techniques 🙏

      No lateral from this position. I'm not leaning and my arm is low on the waist. If he tried a lateral from here he would end up on his back.
