I really love you're doing this, Tay. I have been doing soooo much research prior to buying my first printer and had still to explore the white toner printers. I don't like polyester much, so my main criteria is finding the printer that will do the best prints for both sublimation and easy subli et al. so I can use other fibers than polyester. Looking forward to you next installment(s)! Thanks!

we have a uninet 550 and use it for both sublimation and white toner transfers. prefer sublimation 100,000,000x over white toner, they are just so much more durable. laundering destroys white toner transfers so quickly in comparison, especially tumble drying. you have to air dry them on hangers to make them last.

I’m considering getting a uninet printer to use only for doing sublimation. What mechanical/technical issues have you had with your uninet? I’ve read some reviews that the color red prints out dull. Has that been your experience?

Thanks for doing this, Tay! Love seeing the side by side comparison! I have a sublimation printer but it’s nice to see the difference. Can the white toner printer be pressed onto items other then shirts/fabric?
