@@JustMightDIY in the second method , how would you do letters that are cut individually, what would you put over them to be able to pull it off of the mat ? I’ve been looking on how to do this and y’all video is so easy to follow !!!

What I great video!! Thank you for showing both methods, really great info here! We did run into one issue using the EasySubli and the Epson printer. We were unable to get the sheet to feed into the printer correctly. After 7 attempts I decided to try to help the paper feed. This worked, both times I tried, but the sheet didn't feed straight and the ink streaked a bit. We ended up deciding that the EasySubli was more trouble than it was worth, but this video may change that. I really like the idea of sublimating onto the EasySubli sheet, this could minimize a number of the problems we ran into. Anyway, thanks again!!
Great video, easy step by step, so thank you for this. Question how many washes will this method hold the image for? Once again thank you so much for this easy step by step tutorial.
I have an order for 100 polyprolene tote bags. They will not hold up under high heat. Using the first method was the only way I can accomplish this. I am so grateful to have found your tutorial. The first method worked fabulously. My eco tank 4800 printed the easy subli without pizza wheels, which was an added bonus. Thank you both.
I thought I tried every print setting and settled on Premium Matte, standard res. Most of the time it was fine, but when there was lots of black in the image, it bled into other colors. Colors were vibrant though. Glossy photo/standard was ultimately the setting that solved the bleed problem, which is what you said in the vid, I think. So thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was the absolute BEST video on using Easy Subli that i have found. I can't tell you how thankful i am for you and your easy to understand instructions! I have subscribed and hope do learn more from you two. God bless you!
This was the best tutorial on easi sub that I have found plus you used cricut and epson - which I already have! As a graphic designer for a long time, I was most excited to see that you named the PSDs properly! With descriptive text and divided by dashes! no spaces! (ignored the other psds...LOL!) It is a pet peeve of mine. I really liked this method of having the whole video edited and you both just did the narration. It was a lot easier to follow and did not waste time while looking for something. Thanks so much!
I truly enjoy your tutorials. I tried the easy Subli as well and went through 10 sheets testing and cleaned my printer 3 times during the process and the ‘pizza wheels’ still showed up so I’m not a fan of the easy Subli. It’s too expensive to use to have the images ‘marred’ every time. I heard if you own a Sawgrass printer it works better but that’s too expensive of a ‘fix’ for the issue as a small crafter right now. I did not try the second method you demonstrated as I ran out of the Easy Subli but I wish I had seen this first. 👍❤️
Hey there! Yeah A the pizza wheels are frustrating when you try to print directly. You can purchase it by the sheet if you want to try a bit more with the second method. Links on where to purchase are in the description!
That looks great. If the white portion that you missed bothers you, you could probably use the Cricut Infusible ink markers to cover it up if you could match the color.
@@JustMightDIY How about using the markers in the 'small area' then use a Circuit (or other) teenie tiny heat press 'iron" to that area. Less chance of lifting other original design areas. Thank you! Doing this video we went through all of the settings we could find on both the printer side and computer to slow it down for drying before it got to the pizza wheels. We even left the lid open while printing. What we showed after dozens of tries and lots of wasted EasySubli is the best we could get. We're trying to understand the nature of your question. If it's not sticking enough, make sure the ink is dry and burnish the masking well. If it's sticking too much then make sure you're using right time, temp and pressure. Hope this helps!

You stated printing directly on the EasySubli is wet, placed under the heat press to dry it, but you mention not to touch it because the ink is still wet? What was the reason to placed EasySubli under the heatpress to dry even though it didn’t dry? If EasySubli didn’t dry, the image would end up smearing during the cut?
Hey and thanks for your question. It dried enough to get a clean cut with the tiny Cricut blade, but we wouldn’t go pressing and rubbing our big paws all over it. EasySubli is designed to work with its own very specific ink in the Sawgrass printer, so it’s a little finicky with other inks as we show here. Hope that helps!
@@JustMightDIY Thanks for fast reply😁! Do you know if there are alternatives brands that does the same thing as EasySubli? EasySubli Is too damn expensive after breaking down per sheet. The profit mergers isn’t enough to justify for the cost of EasySubli. This company is ranking in $$$$. Hopefully you may found alternative this very expensive sublimation project.
I have an Epson F170, would I just need to buy the Easy Subli Mask? Does the mask come with 2 parts? I'm a little confused on the seemingly 3 parts but only showing one box.
yesterday for me 23/12/23, I used my easy subli for the first time. I was told NOT to mirror the easy subli, so I print out and cut the offset, then set out to cut the sublimated image, Portrait, but when I cut the offset. it was also in portrait, BUT the sublimation image printed horizontal :( so it did not line up on the easy subli, (wasted sheet of easy subli) 🥲🥲my question is. If you do not mirror the easy subli, but mirror the sublimation image, how can this line up?? I am still a sublimation newbie here. thank you.
Hey! Your sublimation image will need to be placed face down on top of your easysubli in order to be transferred, so the sublimation image needs to be mirrored. Hope this helps!
Honest personal opinion?! What is better EasySubly or EasyColor Siser for making T-shirts... I have both Epson sublimation printer (I have to use 2 step for it) and regular inkjet Epson printer... Because you have experience, what is better results from this two paper?
I'm new to your channel and agree with a lot of others, Thank You for this tutorial. I use Sublimation paper and have the Easy Subli but hesitant on using it until now. I will try it. I did Subscribe and will be watching your videos. Again, Thank You!
Hey! Welcome to our channel - we’re so glad you’re here!! Good luck with the Easy Subli - it’s actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it! Happy sublimating. 😄
Thank you for this tutorial. I have a ET 2720 and the easy subli won't feed through, but I see it went through your ET. Any tips for it to feed, or will I have to just do method 2?
So wait, on the second shirt, when you did easysubli with the sublimation. Did you do print then cut or just cut option with the easysubli paper, And you just put the paper on cutting mat and put it in the cricut?
I think the reason you are having to let it dry so long is the premium matte setting. it puts on so much ink with that setting and i haven't noticed any difference than with bright white paper setting.
Hey! Thanks so much for your comment. We actually tried every print option and quality setting combination and came up with very similar results with the lack of ink drying. 😉
The easy subli is the same, the method we're different. One has printed directly on the easy subli and one printed on regular sublimation paper and transferred to easy subli. Hope this helps, thanks for watching
Hey! We’re not using two layers - it’s just a different method of using EasySubli (if printing directly onto it doesn’t work with your printer). Hope this helps!
I just started sublimation and i'm finding kids shirts colored and high poly count are hard to find. I took the sublimation plunge because I really hated weeding HTV and I was never really confident that it would stick forever. So my question is...since this is an htv....are you able to pick at the edges and see the edge ( like in his glitter htv shirt)
It is an extremely thin htv. There's obviously going to be an edge to pick at but it is so thin and adheres strongly. You would be super hard pressed to have it come up in the edges if it's pressed correctly. One of our future videos is DTF applied to cotton or color shirts. Other options to consider ruclips.net/video/1pmhCbGLQQE/видео.html ruclips.net/video/33kxzjmZpJ4/видео.html
@@JustMightDIY Oh, I meant after it pressed. Sorry! I should have clarified! I messed up and tried to remove it with Heat Transfer Vinyl Remover for Fabrics and it didn't remove it all the way and left ink smears. :(
Hey! Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, we don’t have any recommendations for that situation. We’ve only ever heated HTV from the back to remove it and didn’t love the results.
@@JustMightDIY Yeah. the vinyl remover worked most of the way for the back, didn't touch the front AT all. I haven't tried overheating it yet. That was my next idea. I guess I have a new bed shirt. lol
Took a minute to find the answer, rough side up! If the subli is melting we would double check the press your using is heating up accurately. Excess heat is about the only reason for that result. Hope this helps!
Hi i love your video. Does your ecotank have sublimation ink in it? Im afraid to use the easysubli to print on with my ET 2803 filled with sublimation ink... TIA
They make large type EasySubli. Like 20 inches by 50 yards. And have a wide format printer capable of handling it. Piecing it together would have seams and not look quality.
Hey! We haven’t tried that specific paper with EasySubli, but we have used it before on other projects. It should work well for this based on our other experience!
Hello and thanks for your question. We'd recommend using the second method shown in the video, where you print on regular sublimation paper and then sublimate on top of EasySubli. You can absolutely try printing on it directly, but you may get the pizza wheel marks...
We are following the video but we have a different printer and when we try to use the easy subli it keeps saying paper jam 😩 do you know what we could be doing wrong?
i have individual letters , im wanting to put on a black sweat shirt , 100% polyester , what will i need to do . i printed it off on a sub paper, did i miss a step yall showed , i look at so many videos . please help !!!!!!
Hey there! Unfortunately, we don’t have a Cameo, so we wouldn’t be able to share the correct settings. We’d recommend starting with an HTV setting if it has one, testing a small shape and adjusting from there. Happy crafting!
The epson ecotank 2803, yes. Really any ET printer by epson is easy to make for sublimation. It's better if new. Cleaning the lines and print heads from other inks is challenging
Hey! We don’t adjust the color settings. We do, however, adjust the print settings. We cover the print settings for both methods in the video. Hope this helps!
Ok so i have tried literally every setting, i have the same printer and paper. I can run my regular sub paper through my printer, my printer will print on the glossy side of the easy subli but it will not go through on the side it’s suppose to print on. When i put it in to print on the correct side it says paper jam. Can you help?! 😩

Hey! You’d need the EasySubli to actually sublimate on. The mask is basically a transfer tape. Hope this helps!
Another great sublimation video! 🙂
Thank you! Hope y’all are doing well!
yesterday for me 23/12/23, I used my easy subli for the first time.
This is exactly what if been looking for! Thank you sooo much ❤️
We're glad it came in so helpful! Thank you for checking us out
Great video! Do you have to use the mask?
Thanks! We’re glad you like to! We prefer to use the mask when there are small edges that can curl under. Learned from experience with that one!
@@JustMightDIY ahhh that makes sense! I ordered some sheets to pick up from Joann’s tomorrow. 🤓
Honest personal opinion?! What is better EasySubly or EasyColor Siser for making T-shirts... I have both Epson sublimation printer (I have to use 2 step for it) and regular inkjet Epson printer... Because you have experience, what is better results from this two paper?
Hey there. Better is so subjective that it’s hard to say. EasyColor is easier to do overall, though.
Wow thanks for uploading. Method 2 when you pressed Easysubli on fabric which side it’s face up ? Ruff or smooth side ?
Thanks
Hey! Thanks for your question. Rough side up! 😄
Wooo thank you for your reply… you guys the best
Thank YOU for watching. We’re glad it’s helpful!
This answered all my questions. Wish I had seen it before the other 3 videos I watched!
We LOVE hearing that! Thank you so much for watching and for your comment. ❤️
Do you put the rough side or shiny side of easy sub down on the cricut mat? Thank you
Thanks for checking us out. To us a minute to go back and find the answer. Which is rough side up. Good luck and happy crafting!
Thank you for this tutorial. I have a ET 2720 and the easy subli won't feed through, but I see it went through your ET. Any tips for it to feed, or will I have to just do method 2?
Hey! Thanks for watching. We honestly prefer method 2 - less chance of something going wrong with the print. Hope this helps!
So wait, on the second shirt, when you did easysubli with the sublimation. Did you do print then cut or just cut option with the easysubli paper, And you just put the paper on cutting mat and put it in the cricut?
Hey! Thanks for your question. We just cut the shape out of the EasySubli using the Cricut. It was not a Print Then Cut
Hope this helps!!
@@JustMightDIY Got it, thanks.
Have you tried using the ET2800 or like for printing on the Siser EasySubli? If so, do you have a RUclips video?
Hey! We did try it in one of our smaller EcoTanks with similar results. We didn’t do a separate video on that since it was so similar.
How does it hold after washes? Are the colors still as vibrant?
Hello! Yes - the colors still look good after a few washes!
Great Video! Thanks for the help
Thank you for watching! We’re glad this was helpful!
whats the difference between the easy subli paper you used for the first print and the second print?
The easy subli is the same, the method we're different. One has printed directly on the easy subli and one printed on regular sublimation paper and transferred to easy subli. Hope this helps, thanks for watching
Why did you use 2 layers on the blue? I made a black shirt the other day and just used the easy sub and it was fine. Just curious.

Hi! Do you have the link for your specific heat transfer tape?
Hey! All of the materials we used are linked in the description. 😄
Is there any product that doesn't feel like vinyl when putting on cotton or dark fabric?
Hey! Not that we’ve tried yet. They all sit on top of the fabric to some degree.
Do you have any tips on how to get out smeared sublimation ink from removing Siser Easy Subli?
Hey! We haven’t figured any way to remove smears other than cutting it out before you press.
I guess I have a new bed shirt. lol
What a great video tutorial! Funny too!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!! 😄
Excellent tutorial!!
Thank you!
👏👌🏼👍🏼😍🤩
Thank you!! We’re glad you like it!
ok on second step what side is up and what side is down rough up smooth down? also i did setting as stated my subli melts
TIA
Hello! Yes - this EcoTank has sublimation ink it. You will need to use sublimation ink with EasySubli. 😉
@@JustMightDIY thank you so much! Any tips on how to load into printer? Do i change paper settings?
Hey! We go through all of our tips and settings for both methods in detail in the video. 😉
Great tutorial!!!!
Thank you!
When using the easysubli how would yall make a larger design than what design space allows you ? Like 11” wide design or bigger
They make large type EasySubli. Like 20 inches by 50 yards. And have a wide format printer capable of handling it. Piecing it together would have seams and not look quality.
Hello. Sublimation paper from TexPrint DT Light (XP) will work well with EasySubli? Thanks!
Hey! We haven’t tried that specific paper with EasySubli, but we have used it before on other projects. It should work well for this based on our other experience!
What setting g do you put your cricut on to cut the easisubli?
Hey - we show all of our settings in the video. Everyday Iron-On with More Pressure is what we used.
Why not do the sublimation first, then perform shape cut, then HT?
Thanks for the question, we didn't want to do anything to activate the adhesive before we were ready to apply to our material. 😁
Can you use this method on 65/35 blends or does it just work on 100% cotton?
Hi there and thanks for your question! You can use EasySubli on that as well. 😊
14:11 do you mirror the cut on the Easysubli?
Hello! Mirror the print out but not the outline that you cut out. Hope this helps!
Thank you ☺️ I have a 4700 and I can’t get my easysubli to go through it WHAT AM I DOING WRONG 😢😢😢😢
Hey there! We highly recommend the second method if you’re having trouble getting it to feed through the printer. 😉
What pressure you use on heat press?
As close to a medium as we could figure without having a measure to compare it to. Hope this helps!
Can you use SISSER SUBLI WITH AN ET EPSON 2803?.thank you
Hello and thanks for your question. We'd recommend using the second method shown in the video, where you print on regular sublimation paper and then sublimate on top of EasySubli. You can absolutely try printing on it directly, but you may get the pizza wheel marks...
Did you mirror the easysubli on the 2nd method?
Hey! For method #2, only mirror your image printout (for the sublimation paper) - not the shape on the EasySubli.
Can you please put all the paper names that you used to print the image and to transfer the image into transfer paper what brand did you use I’m sorry
Hello! Thanks for watching. All supplies used are listed in the description, including links! Hope this helps. 😉
What ink are you using for these processes?
Hey! Thanks for your question. The list of materials used (along with links on where to buy) are in the description. 😉
We are following the video but we have a different printer and when we try to use the easy subli it keeps saying paper jam 😩 do you know what we could be doing wrong?
Hey! That’s not something we can troubleshoot. However, we would recommend you try the second method instead. 😉
My easisubli jams in my epson sublimation printer
Hey! Sounds like you should use option 2 then!
My logo keeps coming out fuzzy with bleeding out of my epson printer. I have cleaned it and am using sublimation ink? Any ideas
Hey! Not sure on the bleeding, but the fuzziness could be image quality. Are you sure that you’re working with a high-quality image?
How does the tshirt feel after this process? Is it soft around the design?
Hey! It feels like a very thin vinyl on the shirt.
i have individual letters , im wanting to put on a black sweat shirt , 100% polyester , what will i need to do . i printed it off on a sub paper, did i miss a step yall showed , i look at so many videos . please help !!!!!!
Hi! Go back and watch method 2. You need to cut the EasySubli to the right shape and adhere it to the shirt before sublimating.
Hello. Would you know the settings if using a Silhoutte Cameo? Thank you
Hey there! Unfortunately, we don’t have a Cameo, so we wouldn’t be able to share the correct settings. We’d recommend starting with an HTV setting if it has one, testing a small shape and adjusting from there. Happy crafting!
Can you use Echo 2803 with sublimation ink?
The epson ecotank 2803, yes. Really any ET printer by epson is easy to make for sublimation. It's better if new. Cleaning the lines and print heads from other inks is challenging
I’m sorry I meant to use it for a project like yours
Yes - you can use that printer for a project like this.
What print settings do you use? Adobe, epson vivid, ICM, etc.
Hey! We don’t adjust the color settings. We do, however, adjust the print settings. We cover the print settings for both methods in the video. Hope this helps!
@@JustMightDIY I heard premium presentation paper matte but didn't hear what color setting. So you use "no color adjustment"?
Correct! We don’t adjust the color settings. We just use Premium Presentation Paper Matte and high quality/best for the quality setting.
*_Awesome Video Guys_* thank for sharing with us !!!!!!!!Appreciate the #freegame instantly Subbed 🗣💯🔥
Thank you so much! We’re glad you like it. 😄
Hey! If you’re having trouble getting the EasySubli to feed, we highly recommend using the second method. Hope this helps!
