The Bad Boys are built down in Arkansas.. Built like a tank and can take a lot of abuse. The models made years ago were tanks as well, but the welds, paint, and overall “Slickness” were not Scag Like... Nowadays that’s all changed. Very much an outstanding machine where you’re getting a lot of mower for your money.. They’re a poor boys Scag. Great video as always my friend... Thanks!!!
Are the stand on mowers as maneuverable as a walk behind? I love my exmark 44" Lazer Z HP, but the 48" Lesco walk behind with a sulky put it to shame. It took an 1.75 hours for the exmark and about 1.25 hours for the Lesco on our yard with 75 trees. The Lesco killed my forearms is why I got rid of it but could nudge against a 1" tree and circle it without losing contact. The exmark takes a 3 point turn. Anyway, any information would be helpful as she's 20 years old but will fail catastrophically eventually.
I will say this, I absolutely love my stand on V Ride. Faster, better cornering, much faster turns, gets closer to obstacles. Doesn't wear me out at all to stand and mow. Controls are so easy to use. Hope this helps
Own 2 2023 54” revolts love them!! Badboy is creeping up on all the other brands. Fan boys be saying badboy is junk but I see more and more being used in our industry.
My brother. You mentioned full service customers, which included Mulching & hedges. Is that something like an additional service fee? I always kept my other services separate but this sounded interesting. Also, I'm trying to get a 48 inch walk behind & having no luck here in Pittsburgh
Wow that's a bad boy stand on! I'm totally impressed! I've been eye balling these mowers too! That and spartan... they too have a stand on mower call kg
I have a 48 bad boy revolt 2020 and it is nothing but a dream the striping the ride the price and how great it cuts tall wet grass.it has wheels under the deck so I can literally drive right over roots and concrete with the pto engaged and not even chip a single thing.i also noticed that u did not like the handle I did not either when I first got it but I have figured out a way that extremely easy and only uses one hand.love mine and great video
Yeah, I actually love the bad boy but there were a couple things i would have liked to see changed. Overall a really good mower. That handle issue was really bad on the one I demoed. Glad you enjoyed the video brother.
Hey Shane What area of the country are you in? Also, those lawns looked well maintained tall fescue cut at 4 inches and it cut really nicely, but have you had the chance to cut wet, or less than ideal conditions or weedy lawns with this mower? Did you have to double or triple cut ? Would you buy one if you were in the market for a new mower?
I am in Ohio, the second yard I cut was wet and less than beautiful. Did not have to double cut the yards I did cut. Would I buy one? I would say there are two issues that would have to be fixed but I mentioned those in the video. They would have to put the deck lever on the right side and they need to relocate the PTO switch.
@@DOCREAL1118 I just looked at the pictures and I see where the PTL is located on its reachable from over the bar instead of trying to get your fingers in there like on the ferris standers
Tell you what I started with a bad boy my magnum I cut 100 lawns a week for a year, no issues on a 48 homeowner mower! I am currently getting a 54 revolt with the big Kawi, and a 48 will be on the way shortly after that. With this economy you can’t beat it for the price, built very well
I had a original maverick before the better tires and honestly that was my only complaint the tires would lose traction and me sliding around would tear up the turf but im sure you won't have that issue ive used mine 4yrs with one major issue the motor mounts snapped was a assemble error they got over looked but we got that fixed

I. Had a V RIDE it stripped like that . it was a 2013 and had wheel motor issues . but i am sure Scag had time to correct that problem before you got yours . i might get another . take care friend
We have 2015 outlaw xp that's been bulletproof over 2000hrs. Only problem we have is dealer support here they never have belts in stock or anything for older models. I would definitely demo a revolt 61 but good luck getting a demo through our local dealer.
@@DOCREAL1118 sounds good maybe he will know who to get ahold of for a demo in northern va. The local dealer here asks to borrow ours from time to time for demos lol
Mower seems to be alright. At least it has a Kawi engine but I'm surprised it's only a 19HP for the 54 inch. Not enough power. Also only a 2 year Commercial warranty? I really don't think you will give up your Scags for a Bad Boy. Watching you mow with it makes me wonder why it's not standard that all mowers have chute blockers. Great footage.
I will say this. The new ones come with a 22 hp motor. That was going through 7 inch thick fescue. Scag only has 2 yr. Warranty Mike. This is the smoothest ride of any stander. Thanks man
I've been looking at their 3 pt hitch rotary cutters for tractors. Very impressed with quality and the serviceability of them. Nice to see your opinion on their standers!
Hey buddy glad to see you are still feeling good. Nice video , mower looked good , but I don't know anything about them but I enjoy watching your videos. Take my friend, tell Sarah hi. Sarge
Looks like that bad boy has bigger tires on it. That can help with the ride. Just like my ridged chopper If you take alittle air out of the scag tires it will give a smoother ride.
